Sochi/Yalta model of the late 1980s-1990s. Churchkhela, chebureks, beer-water, ice cream for children, flowers for women. Souvenirs of the "Chinese consumer goods" level. A nice time capsule for those who traveled to the Black Sea with their parents during this period in childhood.
Unfortunately, it is still impossible to consider Batumi as a serious resort after 30 years of open borders, but it's worth a look here for a couple of days.
The beach offers beautiful views of the mountains, ships and the Black Sea. There are no cafes or restaurants on the embankment itself, and the port life in the vicinity of the port is closely intertwined with the resort life.
Batumi Seaport impresses with its beautiful building, which harmoniously fits into the overall ensemble of the boulevard. The territory of the port is well maintained and clean, which creates a pleasant atmosphere for visiting. There is also an opportunity to go on an exciting trip on various ships, which can be interesting for the whole family. However, it should be noted that the surrounding area of the port, including roads, is not always in good condition, especially after rain. There are not many interesting sights inside the seaport, which is worth considering when visiting.
I didn't see any big beautiful liners sailing the oceans. Snow-white motor ships, bright yachts, pleasure boats. There are a dozen captains who are ready to provide you with an unforgettable walk on the sea on their ships.
