The Motherland is a sculpture, the compositional center of the monument-ensemble "To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd. It is one of the tallest statues in the world, with a height of 85 meters. The sculpture depicts a woman with a raised sword, representing her Homeland, who calls her sons to fight the enemy. An epic structure.
