I didn't get excited at all, I expected more. I love Florence and have been there more than once, but this is the first time I have been to the Basilica of Santa Croce. For once, to understand what kind of place you can visit.

Santa Croce is forever in the heart. Its uniqueness lies precisely in the graves of great people, something that you will not find in many basilicas of Rome and Venice (yes, popes almost lie everywhere, but here are Galileo Galilei, Bartolini, Bruni, Machiavelli, Michilangelo. In general, the place is a must-visit!
