Bayezid Tower is located on the territory of the Torii of Istanbul University. Alas, the guards in 2024 did not allow the University to enter the territory and had to observe it at a distance of 50 meters, and certainly not on the full scale of its grandeur!!! Therefore, the star was removed... We walked to this place for about an hour from the Suleymaniye Mosque, and we were so disappointed to reach it and were not allowed in... I had a desire to go up and see Istanbul from a bird's-eye view! There is information about its illumination at night in red or blue (blue), which prompts citizens to learn about warming or cooling in the atmosphere... We did not get to see this when we lived in Taksim, the tower was not visible.. Maybe someone will be more lucky, the only thing I could take from Bayezid Square is a photo))), alas,
