Restaurant/bar with a beautiful view of the Marina and skyscrapers. There is both an outdoor veranda and an indoor hall.
We were there on the recommendation of friends with our company of 3 people on June 1, 2024, it was the last day of the veranda, because because of the sweltering heat it is already uncomfortable to sit outside, numerous fans do not help.
The table was not booked in advance, so we were put on the veranda according to the residual principle, first on the bar, then asked to transfer to the table.
We ordered 3 Aperol Spritz cocktails, they were listed on the menu at 65 AED, the waiter did not specify anything, brought us cocktails. There was no alcohol there. They thought it was probably very diluted.
Next, the staff offered to transfer us to a closed room, it was cooler and more fun there, we gladly agreed.
The contingent is mostly Arabs, and a couple of tables of Europeans, the music is specific to our ear, the DJ included 2 songs in Arabic, then some European retro hit and so on alternately. The atmosphere is very cheerful, everyone is dancing/singing next to their tables.
We ordered another glass of Cava for 75 AED.
Having had a lot of fun, closer to 03.00 we decided to leave, asked for the bill and then the most interesting thing began.
They brought us an inflated check,
And the Alcohol Spritz is for 80 instead of 65 and the Cava is also for 80 instead of 75.
Pointing out the inaccuracy to the waiter, we received the answer that everything was correct. For 65 AED, this is a non-alcoholic cocktail, and alcohol is not on the menu at all and it costs 80, as we were told, but about Cava, it was not available and Martini Brut was brought to us for 80, without even asking or specifying whether we agree.
It was all very unpleasant, the feeling of deception.
This incident at the end was very blurred and spoiled the impression.
