The most amazing and sooo beautiful place! The sauna is just super) Nature is cosmic! The owners are very kind and sincere people! We pleased everyone! You can safely rent it, I will definitely come back to them again!
We were at Miho's bathhouse in July. This is just an amazing place, those who are used to saunas, to pretentious places, then this is not here. Miho's bathhouse is distinguished precisely by the fact that it is located in the mountains in a wild place, a real wood-burning bathhouse with brooms and the coolest thing is that you plunge from the bathhouse into a wild river between waterfalls. We ordered for the whole day, because the road is long enough, I wanted to take my time. We ordered food together, so they set such a table for us...It was just a celebration, they gave me wine. Miho and his wife are so hospitable and good-natured people that it felt as if we had visited relatives, after the bath they invited us back home, treated us to coffee and honey. In general, there are no words, emotions are off the scale.
This is an incredible place!
We were a cheerful company of 6 people on October 31. Evgeny came for us clearly on time and took us to the location. Along the way, I conducted a wonderful tour of very beautiful places. He told a lot of interesting things.
You need to walk to the bathhouse along a very picturesque path and you get to a fabulous place!
We were met by Miho, an incredibly open and hospitable person! Simple and good-natured! We immediately found a common language) We were treated to homemade wine and tea, incredibly delicious.
Evgeny steamed in the bath with eucalyptus brooms and of course swam in the crystal clear and cold river!
This is a magical place!
The hostess fed us traditional Georgian dishes. Khachapuri, khinkali, dolma, shish kebab and very tasty sauces. And then, after all this delight, we were invited into the house to treat ourselves to coffee, taste chestnut honey and drink homemade mead)
There were Germans with us who were very satisfied.
If you are looking for a spa, then this is not the place. This is a place where you can feel unity with nature and visit a real Adjarian house!
Many thanks to Miho, his wife Maklava and Evgeny for everything!
We will definitely come again!
We were in August with a company in the bath. It's a long way to get from Batumi, but everywhere the road is of acceptable quality. This is not a bathhouse where you can come, steam up and leave. This bath should be planned for at least half a day. From the car you need to walk about 300 meters to the bathhouse through the forest in the mountains. The main feature of this bathhouse is the location (yes, a waterfall and a natural font), the steam room is not very large, it will not work for fans of professionally steaming, but for those who want something unusual, I recommend it.
Cons- after the bath, the road to the car is tiring. And the way home, too. It is better to go with a driver or by taxi.
Pros - a chic quiet place, not an ordinary location, local flavor.
The sauna is magnificent, for those who want to steam in a wild deserted place near waterfalls, with picturesque views and the opportunity to swim in a mountain stream. The second time I'm at Miho's, in October 2023 I lived for a week with full board, which includes a sauna. The prices, conditions and especially the home cooking of "an limited" absolutely satisfied me.
I assume that the displeasure of the separated guests is due to the lack of a hair dryer or a Jacuzzi with hot water. Bath lovers are different...
My wife and I visited Miho in mid-October. Anton came to pick us up on time, showed us many interesting and memorable places along the way. About an hour - and we arrived at Miho's house.
The owner himself met us and saw us off. Bathhouse, I'll tell you - it's something! It is located further down the gorge, you have to walk about 200-300 meters. The main feature of this location is waterfalls, which combine to form a natural font. The water in it is cold, instantly chills to the bone and will not suit everyone, but personally I really went into the "steaming - into the font - back to heat up" mode.
Miho is an incredibly welcoming host. He treated me to wine, shish kebab, homemade khachapuri, salads. Everything is of the highest quality. And, of course, entertain us with stories. However, after this, I had to climb back with stops. Don't worry if you realize that you can't beat the treats - the company will be Bobik, a super dog. :)
As for the price tag, there are many different tariffs. We took the "all inclusive" for ourselves, and it's worth it. I advise you to plan for the whole day, since the bath is still not in Batumi itself, and the check-in, hike back and forth-departure will take a decent amount of time.
There are no photos of this bathhouse inside on any website, and it's not just like that - it's not a bathhouse, but a charade installation on a river, to which you can walk along a steep and slippery slope for 15 minutes. There is nothing in the bath: no soap, no bath accessories. The bathhouse itself is dirty - the bathhouse never washes at all, hairpins with hair in the shower, battered brooms, water from the boiler 20 liters. In two hours, the baths were stripped of 200 lari from two people, while an excellent bath in Batumi costs 50 lari per hour. The boorish hostess brought her to the path, snorting with her nose pointed the way. For that kind of money, you can be more polite. The road to the location is just terrible, you can only get there by SUV.
We were in October. We were lured there by a freebie doctor who, for $ 300, lived there for a week on full board with meals and used the bathhouse every day for free. And they charged us $ 80 for two hours, while they did not say the price on the phone in advance. Do not be fooled by positive reviews - they are left by friends of the owners of the bath. In fact, the bathhouse is dirty, it never washes, someone else's hair is everywhere, complete unsanitary conditions. Definitely not worth the money, given that there are no bath accessories. There wasn't even any drinking water. The hair dryer in such a place should be by default. There are no approaches with handrails to the river, the place is absolutely not safe for children. It is also worth adding that returning from the bathhouse in the dark on a steep and slippery slope is still a pleasure, there is no lighting along the trail.
We liked it, we'll come back. You need to throw firewood yourself every 15 minutes, you can not fill the heater, it is tricky, because it is heated in black, water will get into the furnace through the stones and the reinforcing mesh on which the stones lie, but I was surprised when I noticed that the stones lie on the grid, and the fire warms these stones through the grid, a steam bath. We tried it in the winter, and now we want to come in the summer.
I can describe my impressions for a very long time, but I will leave a short review. I'll just say that this place is the soul of Adjara. Fantastic nature, fantastic people. And the homemade food, and the wine? You can't buy this in shops and markets, they can only treat you to it. A special pleasure is to jump from the steam room into the icy clear mountain river. The picturesque remote village is a stunning contrast to the bustling tourist Batumi. Personally, we have fallen in love with this place and will try to come as often as possible.
