They don't change it without a passport. The course is unprofitable. For those who wrote me an official reply: They launch a Russian passport into the country at customs, but for some reason it is no longer a document in the bank. I was ready to provide you with a passport, which I passed through customs, but you refused! ... .. And the Kazakh SIM card with SMS notification was, by the way, also officially purchased using a Russian passport!

The only branch of the bank is in Balkhash, but what is there in Balkhash!!! It can be said that one of the few places where an ATM issues money from a card is the world of Russian banks.

I couldn't exchange rubles for tenge because I didn't have a passport. They are allowed to enter Kazakhstan with an all-Russian passport. The exchange rate is also extortionate (5.9 to 1, although the official rate was about 8 to 1.
