I recommend a visit. Of course, it's better to drive up by car, it's a long way to go on foot. Or take the elevator up to the Kolkhida boarding house, so it's easier. A very beautiful mansion, well preserved, although there is a lot of lush vegetation around. You can get from below (2 stone stairs) or from above (the upper part of the street on March 16th) through a large rusty pipe, but this way it is closer. The views from the balcony are amazing, this balcony is not the only one, there are several more in different directions. Inside there are stone floors and stairs, as well as wooden, but relatively strong ceilings, there is, of course, garbage and graffiti, but tolerable, there is no excrement and smell. There are a lot of people walking around, even in the dark with flashlights. We lived nearby, so we walked by repeatedly.
A gorgeous place!!! A very interesting abandonment in Abkhazia! Beautiful atmospheric photos. We were in cloudy weather and in the rain, but this did not spoil the impression, on the contrary.
