One of the best zoos in the former Soviet Union, clean and well maintained, with huge enclosures. The zoo's inhabitants look and feel great. It is not as huge as Moscow, but it is very well thought out: walking paths along the wooden flooring along the aviaries create the impression of a walk in nature, lots of trees and greenery. The entrance fee for tourists is 15 manats (about 1,000 rubles), and this money is nothing compared to the emotions and great mood received)
I haven't been to the zoo in Baku for a long time, I was pleasantly surprised, very clean, beautiful, Safari-style zoo, all animals are well-groomed, clean, pleasant atmosphere. There is a mini-farm on the territory, with rabbits, guinea pigs, you can feed them and spend time there.
A gorgeous zoo, both adults and children liked it very much. Tigers are just 🔥. Small, but interesting, walked around in 2 hours. The aviaries are wonderfully made, you can watch from different angles. Admission is 15 manats for foreigners of any age
The zoo in Baku is famous for its rich collection of animals and plants. Here you can see more than 120 species of animals, including rare and exotic species. Among them: tigers, lions, bears, monkeys, elephants, giraffes and many others. For bird lovers, the zoo offers a variety of birds, from small songbirds to large predators. Snakes, lizards and turtles can be observed in the terrarium.
The zoo's flora also deserves special attention. There are many ornamental plants and flowers planted in the park, which makes a walk around the zoo even more pleasant and relaxing. The zoo is actively involved in programs for the conservation of rare species, which makes its contribution to the protection of nature even more significant.
A small but very pleasant and convenient zoo. There are many viewing platforms. Clean and animals in comfortable conditions. The only drawback: there are no inscriptions in Russian - at the same time there were a lot of visitors from Russia.
A small but very pleasant zoo. Spacious animal enclosures. Bridges and a tower for observation from above. The terrain was very successfully beaten. The disadvantage is the big difference in the ticket price for Azerbaijani citizens and for visitors.
I liked the zoo, the territory is nice, green, quite clean. There are tigers, lions, jaguar, camels, bison.
The children liked it.
I took off the star for the fact that the entrance is 3 manats for locals, 15 for tourists. We have a family of 5 people, this comes out as an amount for 15 people, well, too much.
You can go once for the sake of the children, there is an interesting observation deck, a really cool solution.
After the reconstruction, this is a paradise, the children are delighted. You need to come for at least 3-4 hours. Although the square is small, the maze of bridges, passages and nooks pleases visitors on a sultry day. Well-groomed and well-fed animals play, entertaining guests. There are a lot of visitors on weekends and it's not very convenient.
Recently, I was lucky enough to visit the Baku Zoo, located on Abbas-Kuli-Agha Bakikhanov Avenue in Baku. From the very beginning, this zoo impressed me with its compact and cozy territory, which is a luxurious pine park with a hilly landscape and murmuring waterfalls.
The most important advantage of this zoo is that the animal enclosures here are very spacious and convenient to view. Thanks to this, visitors can observe the zoo's inhabitants from different angles: from above from wooden bridges or through huge panoramic windows located at ground level. This allows you to see animals at close range, look them straight in the eyes and get an unforgettable experience.
In the Baku Zoo, you can see many species of animals such as bears, leopards, tigers, lions, camels, bison and many others. All of them look healthy and well-groomed, which indicates good maintenance and care from the zoo staff.
Separately, I would like to note the high level of comfort for visitors. Comfortable benches, clean toilets, cafes and souvenir shops make your stay at the zoo pleasant and memorable! :)

A small, cozy Baku zoo. A set of animals, probably, like everywhere else - camels, buffaloes, zebras, bears, monkeys, birds and other representatives of fauna. The territory is monitored, very clean, the animals are well-groomed and well-fed. There is a small terrarium. Tourists are charged a triple price - 45 manats (15 manats each) were paid for an adult and two children aged 14 and 11.
Very well organized. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful exposition and view of the city from the observation tower. There is a parking lot nearby. Like it.
I visited the zoo in Baku, which I really liked.
Very clean and tidy. The animal enclosures are spacious and clean. There are also rare animals such as American bison, mongooses, cheetahs, American cayuga ducks with beautiful black plumage that glows green and pink in the sun, cheetahs and many other animals. The zoo is a cozy and frequently visited place in Baku. I advise everyone to visit!
A modern zoo. Very original architecture. Spacious enclosures for animals. There is no smell . It will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults!
In the summer, together with the children, we visited the Baku Zoo. The children liked it very much. The first time I visited the zoo without children, I saw a bear. The children really wanted to see the bear, it's a pity that this time the children did not manage to look at a live bear. Probably because of the heat, he was hiding somewhere in the shade.
Baku has a small but very beautiful zoo. The collection of animals is small, but the aviaries are large and picturesque. A separate excellent solution is aerial trails for observation from above. There is a playground for children. Unfortunately, the cafe was not working. They admired the cubs, big cats, otter games and porcupine cubs.
A beautiful small zoo, there are waterfalls, animals can be viewed from below and from above, from bridges.
There is a nice aquarium.
The animals are all active, well-groomed, the only thing confused was the muddy water with tiger foam.
There is a playground.
The zoo is not bad, but the cashiers and staff at the entrance are just terrible. There is no respect for customers, there is one price in the price list for children, but they divide small children into their own and foreigners and demand 15 manats from a 3-year-old child. They don't know the rules for dealing with clients. Therefore, a fat minus for you
The prices are reasonable, the zoo is quite large. Clean and well maintained, convenient location. The tiger enclosure was cleaned when we were there, so cleanliness is not in question at all.
Animals are paid actors. Practically no one was hiding, everyone was actively moving, growling, shouting and so on.
The part with aquariums and terrariums is just as good.
It's a delight! We were just driving to kill time, but we ended up in a fairy tale! A magnificent zoo! Everything is in the shade of huge gorgeous pines. The animals have gorgeous territories. There are a lot of animals, all of them are perfectly visible. The animals are all well-groomed. The territory is clean and beautiful! In general, it's worth going here👍🔥
Nice spacious enclosures for animals. A modern well-maintained zoo. There are not very many animals themselves. Prices are much higher for foreign tourists than for local ones.
The most beautiful zoo! The animals live here in very comfortable conditions, with fountains, pools and waterfalls. There are large viewing windows in the enclosures of the aviaries. I recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it!
Everything is clean after the repair. It smells very bad in places next to some cages, I don't know anymore, it's because they don't clean up so often or there's another reason
A small zoo. The children liked it. An interesting walking trail is laid, it is located above the space where the animals are located. We were lucky with the tigers, they seemed to pose on purpose. Admission is 15 manats.
The zoo is compact. There are a lot of animals, there is something to see. It was a pity that the cafes were not open, it was so nice to enjoy what I saw with a cup of coffee. There is a huge disadvantage in the zoo - there is no elephant....
A magnificent zoo! Lots of animals, neat and large enclosures, good navigation, volunteers everywhere. Of course, the price is too high for tourists, but no one bothers to pretend to be local;)
Very large enclosures for animals. There is a tower for viewing the zoo from above. I was pleased with the multi-tiered tracks, which allows you to see the animals from different angles.
Still, there is not enough space for animals. Tiger, leopard walk back and forth for hours. I feel sorry for the animals. As it is, it's generally not bad. Like it.
This is the best zoo of all European ones. Animals play, walk in conditions close to natural, very cool! In this zoo, you forget about time, you watch the animals - you just can't tear yourself away! So much joy was given to us by monkeys, a bear (playing with a swing), kangaroos, otters (who would have thought! they raced very funny), and, of course, majestic predators! We, tourists from Irkutsk, fell in love with Baku, but we experienced the brightest joyful emotions in your Zoo!
A gorgeous zoo. I advise you to visit necessarily. Well-groomed and well-fed animals, clean aviaries. Spacious enclosures for animals.
We visited the zoo with a child in May. I don't know who writes rave reviews, but it's very difficult to call a zoo. I would call it a big menagerie. Of course, you need to understand what to compare it with.
Yes, it is clean and cozy, but there are very few animals. Lion, tiger, bear, jackal, little crocodile are the most memorable. And so all the others on the list are llamas, flamingos, camels, various ungulates, a large cage for birds of prey, there are parrots and an owl.
I still did not understand their working hours, because it is written on the Internet until 17.30, but in fact we went out at 18.30 somewhere, and the cash register was still working.
If you are in Baku with a child, then it is definitely worth visiting, if not, then it depends on how much you love zoos and how much free time you have. There are no most interesting animals (no giraffes, hippos, elephants, pandas). But the zoo itself is clean, the animals are clearly visible, and the tiger can be seen at all up close if you go down to the hatch with water.
You can also climb to the observation deck (located at the bears at the end of the zoo).
I really liked the bears: mom and two cubs. There are also a lot of deer, there are peacocks, flamingos, bison, tigers, lions, cheetah, etc.
The zoo is not very big) but it's cool that there are so many unusual animals in it ... and it's cool that you can see them very close!!! We saw a tiger through the glass literally a meter away from us) we are very happy with the hike ... we advise
A great zoo, I advise you to visit who has not been there yet after reconstruction, cozy, lots of greenery,well-equipped, everything is clear and well done, thank you so much for your work!!!
A great zoo, animals in great shape - spacious beautiful aviaries, many females of different species waiting for offspring, which indicates good conditions for keeping animals. Their enclosures are clean, there is no smell, the animals themselves are clean, they are fed fruits and vegetables!
It's a wonderful place. We went with a child of 5 years old, got a lot of impressions. The animals are well-groomed, the locations are beautiful and thoughtful

A great place to hike with family and children in good weather. The zoo is very well maintained and the animals feel great in it. It's nice to watch.
It 's a great zoo. It's not very big, but there are a lot of different animals. All enclosures are very clean. There is no unpleasant smell at all on the territory of the zoo.
A small zoo, walked around quickly. It looks very well maintained, lots of greenery.
We were there on a weekday morning, there were almost no people. The child was interested. I recommend you to visit.
A very cozy, clean, wonderful zoo! Despite the small area, there is something to see! All the animals are well-groomed and it is clear that they are treated with great love!
The zoo is modern! Very cozy and comfortable for a walk! There are not many guests. There is an elevator to the observation deck! And in general, I was very impressed with the territory
A beautiful, well-maintained zoo. I think that the animals would not refuse closed air-conditioned valliers (or am I a wimp?), but in general everything looks decent, every animal is well-groomed, they look well-fed) like from my daughter
The zoo is not big, but well-maintained, cozy. Admission is expensive for foreigners. If you've been to the Moscow Zoo, it won't be particularly interesting.
One of the best zoos my daughter and I have visited! Complete delight! Gorgeous spacious spaces for animals, multi-level, everything is buried in the shade of beautiful pine trees.
