I usually judge a restaurant by its borscht; if it’s good, then the other dishes won’t disappoint. At Babushka, they serve excellent, rich borscht with the most delicious bread. I also praise the other dishes and the children’s menu. But the price is a bit steep.

Such a sincere restaurant.. Unexpectedly, after a hot beach, which is 5 meters from the building, you get into the coolness, at the entrance the girls in the style of "a la russe" are dressed in interesting sundresses. The box is blue from our post office.. The menu was lured by okroshka on kvass or kefir.. The service is conducted by attentive staff, and several clarification questions arose during the first visit. Everything was decided super quickly, the manager came up, the staff REALLY TRIES, THEY GIVE THEIR BEST. You can't play it.. The names on the menu of dishes are funny.. From memory, it's like "Petersburg tongue with shrimp sauce" but everything is delicious!!
The okroshka was served as a kind of delicacy, its composition is separate, with you or kefir or kvass is topped up, so solemnly..
The company came in, EVERYONE WAS SATISFIED. PRICE IS ALSO NOT COSMIC. THE REAL ONE. I HEARTILY RECOMMEND IT.

The first thing that raised questions was a completely empty hall, there were no people, all the waiters were free, despite the fact that it was dinner time and Ramadan. There were plenty of staff, most of them were Russians. Everyone saw that we were Russian speakers, but they still sent a foreign speaker. He took the order incorrectly, although we speak English clearly and brought the wrong thing at all. We ordered several dishes, and of all of them, only olivier can be attributed to the "well, it's still nothing like that" category. The chefs in the kitchen do not know Russian cuisine for sure and some spicy or bitter spices were added to the dishes, which completely spoiled the taste and the dishes became disgusting. I do not recommend this place to visit.

Well, what can I say. A solid A plus. There used to be another restaurant here, but now Grandma is just a delight. If you miss Russian cuisine, welcome. Borscht is simply the best. I recommend 200% to try. Okroshka, fire. I don't know where they get real kvass. Everything is very stelized. The dishes are all from Suzdal, dymoff ceramics. It's just great. And be sure to have beef stroganoff and crab dumplings :)
