We ordered rooms in advance, several months before arrival, through a well-known website. We arrived , but our rooms are occupied and the administration doesn't give a fuck about our problems. They offered us to move into different rooms, to strangers.. So-so service. So-so hotel..
A pretty cute little authentic hotel with Thai-style rooms.
We had a room type - Superior room (with breakfast) on the 4th floor.
Since the hotel room itself is semi-open, it is not equipped with air conditioning. There is no elevator - because of this, I had to sweat while lifting 2 suitcases weighing 40 kg and a backpack with photographic equipment to the 4th floor by stairs.
The room itself leaves a pretty pleasant impression. There is a wardrobe with a safe. A bedside table with a TV, which hides a refrigerator without a mini-bar. There is water, tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and a kettle on the table. The pillows on the bed are not very comfortable. There is only one bedside table near the bed. I had to use a stool as the second one. The bathroom has a shower with a simple oilcloth curtain and extremely poor running water pressure in the shower. The room seemed to be clean, but I couldn't get rid of the feeling of a certain slovenliness of the room.
Sliding doors lead from the room to the balcony. the balcony is quite large with two iron chairs and a table. The view from the 4th floor to the river, which is not particularly visible due to vegetation and the sun rises from this side - as a result, a beautiful dawn. In the morning, in silence and amidst the singing of birds and the chirping of cicadas, you can hear the call to prayer from the mosque. The hotel itself is a 15-20 minute walk to the main city center and to the busy streets. Thanks to this, there is no city noise (only the noise from the road, which is located under the balcony) and in the morning you can listen to the beautiful birdsong. By the way, we have not heard such a thing in Ao Nang - no birds.
The breakfasts at the hotel are not very diverse, but there is more than enough to eat.
A big plus is the delicious coffee from the coffee machine.
Fruits are usually watermelon, pineapple. Fried eggs and omelette with vegetables. Rice with vegetables or noodles, some kind of soup, boiled sausages. A small salad table, toast with jam, milk and cereal.
There was a case when the electricity was turned off - I had to sit in the heat in the room. Plus, the pumps stopped working and there was no water. Well, and the Internet, respectively. As you understand, the Internet is also a sin to disappear and then you need to ask the reception to restart the router.
All these flaws are small things.
For its price, this hotel is a great option for a couple of nights.
