It's not the first time I've been here! A wonderful hotel for a holiday! The hotel has its own beach! The sea is very clean! A big plus is that the city is 8 km away, it's convenient! The policy of the hotel is to make your stay comfortable for your guests! They can handle it by 1000%! Verified!!! All the staff are very good-natured and caring! Delicious breakfasts! We returned from the hotel yesterday. We've been here for 2 weeks. The impression of the hotel is the most positive, the location is ideal to combine a beach holiday and acquaintance with Baku and the surrounding area. By points:
1. The location, as I wrote above, is very convenient. We took a ride on the bus once, mostly by taxi. But it's everyone's choice. It is easy to get to the center by bus, and the price of a taxi is also acceptable.
2. Staff and attitude towards visitors: just 100 out of 100!
3. Swimming pool: clean. Disinfection is important to me, so I was pleased with the faint smell of either chlorine or ozone.
4. The restaurant. It's delicious, the prices are normal for Baku. We usually ordered room service. We had dinner, and then went to the sun beds near the sea, where the music of the restaurant can be heard.
Now the nuances. I can't define this "+" or "-". For me it was a plus, for someone it may be a minus.
1. Everyone is allowed into the pool for a fee. But I have never seen a terribly clogged pool even on the hottest day, there were always enough sun beds for everyone. For me, it is interesting to be in the company of residents of the country where you came.
PS. Remember that the pool is well monitored.
2. There is some kind of celebration in the restaurant almost every day. Music until midnight. That is, it will be difficult to spend the evening in perfect silence. But you can get acquainted with local holidays, watch dances.
It's also fun to dance right next to the sea (or even just going into it) to cheerful music.
If you really want silence, then the hotel has a pleasant lobby where the music is almost inaudible. There you can read, talk, and play board games with a large company.
Bottom line: the hotel provides everything you need for a quality holiday

A good hotel, cozy and comfortable, the staff is friendly, smiling, buffet breakfasts, two swimming pools, the beach is nearby, there are sun beds and umbrellas, beach towels can be taken every day. There are few people, Baku is not far away. I liked everything. The only drawback is that the waiters do not understand Russian, so we had dinner in Baku.

A great hotel on the shores of the Caspian Sea. I recommend. We lived in a room on the 1st floor with a view of the pool. It's a little noisy, as holidays are often held, and live music in the evenings, but it didn't bother us. The room has everything. Towels, slippers, bathrobe, toothbrush, toothpaste, water, gel and shampoo were replenished every day. The cleaning is perfect. The food we had was breakfast, just a delight. Omelets, sausages, kutabs, pancakes, porridges, juices, tea, coffee. A large sweet table and various ripe fruits, so you will not stay hungry. We had lunch once with a sea view, inexpensive and delicious. I recommend Hardalan beer to everyone.Of course, I would like to have a Russian VTB ATM on the territory. It's not far to the center, we took a taxi (ordered through Yango, an analogue of Yandex), Took rubles, changed them without problems, the only thing is better on weekdays since profitable exchangers do not work on weekends. VTB Mir card was withdrawn manats without any problems. We went to the city for dinner, since it is not reasonable to sit only in a hotel. There are a lot of places to see in Azerbaijan. We were at this hotel from 07/06/2024 to 07/09/2024. I chose this hotel because I wanted to celebrate my anniversary in privacy by the sea. I booked in advance and contacted the hotel administration. The room is on the second floor with a view of the road. The windows were not opened, but there was always a constant hum from the road. I don't know if it's good or bad for the road, since the rooms on the pool and the sea are constant parties and holidays (the hotel allows not only hotel guests to enter the territory, there are a lot of people by the pool, sun loungers are so that it is impossible to pass, food and garbage are all around, cleaners do not have time to clean up, but happiness to the restaurant – waiters are running around, happy; the hotel restaurant holds holidays on the territory of the hotel – locals gather in the evening, photo shoots are held, family holidays are held and so on until midnight.) Externally, the hotel is pleasant, the beach is not very clean, although it is clear that they are trying to clean it; breakfasts are held in a cafe in the main building: fruits, vegetables, eggs omelet, porridge... such a standard. For me, you won't stay hungry. At the reception, a girl and a guy are like robots: they react quickly to requests for a problem in the room, smile tightly, there were problems in the main restaurant, then they disavowed, like the restaurant itself, and the hotel itself. Now the important thing about the main restaurant, I can't help but warn those who plan to visit this hotel. In the evening on the day of arrival, we wanted to have dinner on the territory by the pool in the main restaurant. The waiters quarreled with each other, since everyone has their own tables for service, many visitors are not guests of the hotel, but since we are guests of the hotel and they were in a desperate situation, we found a table for two. The menu was unfamiliar to us, the dishes were new, we asked the waitress (Anya introduced herself) to give recommendations. It was suggested to take one dish for two: cheese (4 pieces on a plate), lula (2 pieces), lamb on a bone (2 pieces), one salad with cherries, flatbread and a bottle of Hillside red wine. It was nice, sincere, I asked to additionally recommend a photographer for a photo shoot the next evening and tell the price for the services. At the end of the evening, Anya brought a check for 83 manats and said that the photographer's services would cost 50 manats. We gave her 100 manats without change for tips. Only in the room I went to the hotel's website and compared the prices of the dishes that we tried and counted the check, it was overstated by at least 25 manats. The next evening, the reception called and said that a photographer, a pleasant young man, was waiting for us. At the end of the 30–minute photo shoot, I asked how much money to give in advance or after the entire amount at once and about the shock - the photo shoot cost 200 manats. Being impressed by last night, I told the young man that we had an agreement with Anna and she had announced the price and that he should now deal with all issues with her. At the same time, we also approached Anna, since we had a table reserved for a festive dinner and I couldn't resist telling her about the service of the evening before (my habit of photographing dishes and receipts helped me a lot in this conversation). It turned out that the dishes in the receipt were counted as two, the wine was served for 30 manats, and the other was 45 manats in the receipt, and entertainment was included there… And entertainment, these are musicians and presenters who entertained birthdays and weddings and were paid for by guests whose holidays were held there. After clarifying these circumstances, 20 manats were returned to me and told that she earns much more in the evening and that we would not fly home. Then this arrogant and unscrupulous lady, who disrupted my holiday, began to call our room and ask us to pay for the photo shoot at the price that the photographer announced, to which I told her, "I'm very sorry for the guy, but I had the opportunity to cancel the photo shoot yesterday, if I knew the price. Given the current situation and the fact that you cheated on us at the restaurant the day before, you will pay the difference out of your pocket." After this conversation, she called several more times, but I was categorical with her (although later, when we met, I still added another 25 manats to him :-)). The hotel staff was informed about this situation, but did not take any action and did not even apologize. We spent this evening in the restaurant "Eldorado", thanks a lot to the guys of this institution. The next day we moved to another hotel, in the city center and by the pool we met a young couple from Minsk and lo and behold ... they also rested at Aysberq Resort. The guys said that they had dinner a couple of times in this restaurant, where they were served by a young man. On the first evening, they were surprised by the high amount in the check. The next time, they were already ready, as they studied the prices on the menu on the hotel's website and when they were brought something, they simply could not find out what was in the receipt, and they were also told that the receipt additionally included musical accompaniment. The guys did not figure it out, although they were very outraged and did not go to the restaurant anymore. Under the circumstances, I believe that this is the policy of the hotel administration, which allows restaurant waiters to deceive hotel guests, inflate prices, and include non-existent services in the receipt.

We rested at this hotel from August 5 to August 10, 2023. The hotel is on solid 4. The location is excellent, not far from the center of Baku, you can take 20-30 minutes by bus or by taxi. I liked everything, clean rooms, cleaning every day, plus maids.
The guys at the reception are responsive, everyone speaks Russian, they are always ready to help, order a taxi, resolve a question, clarify something. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, there is not enough greenery, the sea is clean, the beach is not being watched perfectly, but they are trying. The breakfasts are delicious, varied, the chefs cook well. Special thanks to the hotel manager Vugar. He knows his job perfectly well, monitors everything in the hotel, will help solve any issue.
The only drawback is that for an additional fee people are allowed into the pool and on the beach from the street, and if the windows from the room overlook the pool, it will be very noisy because of the music. Yes, of course it's expensive, considering that only breakfast, but not critical.
And so I really liked the hotel, we will come back again.

A good hotel, a solid four. They cook delicious, they decide separately respect. Every evening there is live music in the restaurant, the staff is friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily, but for 4 days. The beach is clean, there were no evening entertainment programs. Sometimes the wind is strong, under the sun 🌞 be careful, you can get burned quickly. We went to the city every evening, it is very beautiful. Embankment, Old Town, observation Square, Deniz Mall shopping center, Carpet Museum, Ferris Wheel 🎡 be sure to visit. Upon arrival at the airport, immediately take a local SIM card for 45-50 GB of Internet (enough for two for a week) and get a transport card (in the subway for 2 manats), since it will be much cheaper by bus than by taxi. Be sure to try pomegranate juice, do not forget undiluted, very tasty. There are a lot of Russian goods in supermarkets, but they are slightly more expensive than ours. If you want to taste a good wine, then take Savalan red. I recommend Azerbaijan for holidays from May to August inclusive, and at other times- watch the weather, you can also catch and relax (there will be fewer tourists).

I was at this hotel once in May for a vacation at the sea.Everything is more or less tolerable, there is a swimming pool, the beach is shallow, there are no people at the entrance of 15 manats, the staff is standing over the soul, which creates discomfort. I could have finished with that and put 3*, but another time I went to El Dorado beach, it's nearby, there's a 3-manat entrance and a 3-manat sunbed, the beach is better, and everything would be fine, but on the way someone from the Iceberg workers stopped me and asked where I was going to El Dorado? I said yes and heard the phrase in Azerbaijani "go to hell", I was born in Baku and I know the language, it was very unpleasant, I did not enter into an altercation, it's better to give a review so that people know where I'm going.Good luck to everyone!

We rested at the Iceberg Hotel in mid-June 2023.
1. The hotel is located in the former prom.the zone, along the highway, so there is nowhere to go nearby. We went to Baku by taxi (the price is from 4 to 8 manats, in the evening the price is usually higher).
2. If you need a stable internet connection on vacation, DON'T count on the hotel's Wi-fi. It either works poorly or doesn't work at all. By the pool and in the dining room does not work at all.
3. The breakfasts are always the same. The main course is an omelet, followed by a choice of vegetables, a couple of types of cheese, sausage. Sometimes only desserts change.
4. The hotel itself in terms of repairs and equipment - well, such. Everything is worn out: from plumbing to towels. It looks like hotels in Turkey, through which tens of thousands of guests went. There are many times fewer people here, but the state of the infrastructure is the same.
5. The pool is large, there are a lot of sun beds. Also in the description of the hotel was declared its own beach with sun beds in a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The main disadvantage is that the hotel's territory is open and anyone can come to the pool/beach. I.e., people just come from the city or from the neighboring private sector, occupy sun beds and that's it) There is not enough room for hotel guests, there are crowds of strangers around. Apparently, staying on the territory is free, only the bar is paid, so people are coming down in droves.
6. On the territory of the hotel there is a street restaurant and a large paved area. For 11 nights in the hotel, only 1 day there were no proms / weddings and other other people's holidays. This territory inside the hotel is simply rented and you, instead of relaxing in a swimsuit, are again surrounded by crowds of strangers who have come to cancel, for example, a wedding.
7. There is no animation for hotel guests at all. From the animation, only look at other people's weddings in the evening (see item 6). There are also no volleyballs and other sports equipment.
8. The beach is small, a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Sandy. The sea itself is very shallow and usually calm. You can just walk to the buoys.
9. There are no usual Black Sea entertainments on the beach, such as parachuting, banana riding and so on. There is only you and the sunbeds here)
10. We are faced with a language problem. The staff does not speak English, and 1 out of 10 people knows Russian. Again, even in Turkey, this is easier.
11. The prices in the hotel restaurant are the same as in the tourist part of the city.
If you have traveled around the world, but chose Baku because of the closed borders / lack of visas (as was the case in our case), do not count on the service. He's just not here. Our hotel accommodation (without flight) cost 98 thousand for 11 nights (breakfast included only). We did not understand why we gave such money.

We went to the beach next to this hotel during a vacation in August. Entrance for non-residents costs 15 manats. In general, all conditions are created for a comfortable stay on the beach (changing cabins, toilet, shower, sun beds), but the water is all dirty (in mud. Even on a free beach a little further along the shore, the situation is better), very shallow (if you do not swim behind the buoys). The pool at the hotel looks very nice, but the beach at the hotel is terrible. The restaurant is cozy, but the service is terrible (they mixed up the dish, but a minute after ordering they categorically refused to change anything, because they had already started cooking. In general, it is possible to understand, but do not wait for the service here, that everything is done for visitors).
We went on a weekday afternoon (the weather was not very good in the morning, but we arrived just under the sun), so the beach was empty.

The most unprofessional, illiterate and dissatisfied staff in the world, which can only be! Vacationed here with my wife in July, I didn't like almost everything! The rooms are tired, in need of repair, there is no beach, the water from this shore is dirty, there is simply nowhere to fall near the pool on weekends. Moreover, they let everyone and everything off the street for 15 manats, and there are not even sun beds left for residents! Waiters are a separate story! To bring you a glass of water, you need to ask 5 times, and it's not a fact that they will bring it!!!

A small but very cozy hotel is located on the first coastline and has its own beach. The hotel has a large, very clean and well-groomed territory. Clean pool. The rooms are spacious, cleaning and change of bed linen is done every day! Wonderful hotel staff!!! The manager of the hotel Vugar, solves any questions and appeals with lightning speed, always with a smile and great respect for the visitors of the hotel. He is a great professional in his field!!! The impressions of being in an Iceberg remain very positive for many months. A good restaurant on site, you can eat at any time. Clear sea. The location of the hotel is gorgeous, you are resting on the sea, and 10-15 minutes to the city center. a taxi ride. This is the best location of the hotel, unlike the others.
