A picturesque place, very crowded, there is congestion on the roads, parking is quite difficult to find, there are exchangers with the most acceptable rate, there is a grocery market, as well as a well-known bus station from which you can get to different cities of Georgia, as well as some states neighboring this beautiful country, it is better to get here by metro than by private car.
The bus station is easily accessible by metro, the place is colorful, they sell delicious pastries, there are a lot of minibuses, so choose air-conditioned and comfortable, the price difference is only 5 GEL, the drivers are professionals- they know their business))
Unfortunately, there were no tickets for the Tbilisi-Batumi train on the day of departure and I had to take a minibus.
Last time, my husband drove from the bus station on a small minibus and got there in +-4.5 hours.
Today we boarded the "official" minibus, which is many times worse and older than the one he rode. As a result, we have been driving for 4.5 hours, and we have not even reached KUTAISI yet!!!! It's impossible. The minibus also smells like something burned inside.
We have already written about the chaotic nature and dirt of the station below.
The toilet is a separate topic for conversation. In the women's room there is just a division without doors, 6 "booths", if you can call them that, 3 of which are perfectly visible to those passing by.
I do not know how it is possible to abandon the train station in the capital so much.
The only thing you can put a star for is the women who work at the checkout, they are very friendly and ready to help at any moment.
