The city Archaeological Museum is a 10-minute walk from the train station. We drove from Cappadocia to Mersin, on the way there was a transfer in Aksaray for an hour and twenty minutes. We quickly managed to get to the museum and fully visit it. There are a lot of traces of Roman presence in this area. Tombstones, tombs, pots. jewelry items. The only thing is that the hall with the mummies was closed for restoration, I hope you will be more lucky. Admission to the museum is free.
