Sinakhi is a magnificent town, the Georgian authorities have turned it into a tourist Mecca. Cobbled streets, gorgeous views, an ancient fortress, tourist attractions. The local registry office is popular for some reason. I highly recommend stopping by

You can get from Tbilisi by minibus from the Samgori metro station. 10 GEL. The first one is at 9 and then almost every 2 hours. Especially for the morning ones, come in advance — half an hour in advance, as it may fill up. It's 1:45 on the way.
