It pisses me off that the station opens somehow it is not clear whether from 8 a.m., or from 9 a.m. in general, if the bus arrives from Almaty at 6 a.m., then you only have to wait outside, but in winter you can't even wait for the canteen to open on the street!

The opening hours are unknown. I bought a ticket 2 days before the departure of the bus to Almaty. She gave me the worst seats at the end where 4 people are sitting and the air is not blowing it stank of exhaust
