I started to wedge the caliper, the disk was very hot, I started calling the service stations that were nearby and with good reviews, most of them were busy, but here the guys accepted me without problems, plus 1 star for this. They removed the caliper, examined it, I pressed the brakes, they said everything was fine, nothing was wedging, the guides were running, the piston was also running, they said the handbrake might be buggy, it would not let go sometimes until the end (but the handbrake had separate pads, and I was told that they had been changed recently, and traces of I showed the usual pads where they were wedged). Well, if everything is fine, then it's fine, they put it back together, and I went, on the way home I saw that the problem did not go away, the disk began to warm up very much. The problem was also that I was passing through Minsk and I need to go back 200km, I also talked about this. What prevented me from removing the anther from the piston and examining it - I do not know, apparently lack of experience, or unwillingness to figure out the problem... I had to get home 70 km per hour for almost 3 hours with stops. At home, I removed the caliper, and the problem was in the piston, it was just without lubrication and in rust and, accordingly, wedged, attached a photo, everything is visible there. Initially, there were positive emotions when visiting this service station, now exclusively negative, I think for a normal service to check the caliper should not be a problem or some kind of difficulty, either the guides are wedged or the piston is there. Draw your own conclusions.
P.S. I went over the caliper, lubricated everything, nothing sticks anymore.
I decided to upgrade my fleet and my choice fell on the BMW X5 E70.I searched for a suitable car for a long time and was sure that I finally found it, but as the well-known proverb says: "Trust, but check."
And I decided to check my potential purchase at this car service. The masters carefully checked everything and advised not to buy this car, because the engine is on its knees and will not get up.The dealer who tried to sell me this bucket was unhappy, and I was grateful to the masters and especially to Master Denis for saving me from wasting money and potential impoverishment. Therefore, my advice to you is to always check your cars before buying at this car service and avoid overbooking.
