I applied to repair the landing of fuel injectors in the cylinder head, a common problem on the t5 2.5 tdi. The cylinder head was checked for tightness and then work was done to restore the landing.
Before assembly, I decided to wash everything for a high-quality assembly of the engine and cylinder head, but I noticed cracks in the nozzle channels. I called, brought it, pointed out this defect, to which it was said: "every 2 heads is like this."
Due to the high cost of high-quality spare parts and unwillingness to tempt fate, I brought the cylinder head to a third-party organization for inspection.
Bottom line: The cylinder head is leaky in the cooling channel. Yes, not in the place where there was a crack, but the difference is what. ie, this is a piece of aluminum with a repaired nozzle fit, and the auto parts did a useless job and the check was visual, not full-fledged.
