A great place for a family vacation. We were on the day when the festival was held (There were a lot of people, a lot of fun, there were all kinds of free entertainment for children. There were cafes on the territory, however, due to the large number of people at the festivals, they stood in line for 1 hour) You can take a boat ride, have a great time)
A very beautiful place! The territory near the Dombroka lock is well-groomed, like a palace park! It is interesting to observe the locking of the vessel both from the shore and from the ship! I definitely recommend you to visit! At the same time, you can also go to the Nemnovo lock - the largest lock of the entire Augustovsky Canal, consists of 4 chambers with a large difference in water height. This is a less touristic place, but the scale is impressive!
This is the most wonderful moment of my trip to Belarus, just a hit this summer. We reached the place using the navigator, along the way we were very surprised to be stopped by the border guards (they also stopped us back). They showed their passports and drove to the place.
The parking lot is large, there are several entrance places on different sides of the canal. There are bike paths with signs of settlements and the distance to them.
The gateway itself is not large, it is an interesting structure, but the inspection will last for 10-15 minutes. We didn't have time to go to the museum - it was closed.
In my opinion, the gateway is a bonus, and the beauty of the place is in the channel itself. There is a weak current here and pedal catamarans are rented. They took 15 rubles for 2 hours (I can make a mistake in the price). It is very comfortable to sail in both directions on a catamaran, and there is silence around, amazing nature, a swan with his baby swam up to us without fear. There are many berths - you can fish. Before our eyes, a couple caught a large ide, there is a pike. They weren't allowed to swim at the rental, but honestly, they violated it.. we found a sandy beach, moored and swam with a high.
For a fee, you can drive up to the gazebos by car and go fishing, swim and roast meat (there is a barbecue).
The ship sails every hour - there is an opportunity not to pedal, but to look at this interesting, historical and very atmospheric place from the deck.
Come here- it's great here.
There's probably a lot more here-we couldn't see it all before dark.
I really want to come back.
We arrived by car. Parking is better on the cafe side. Among the entertainment there is a steamboat, catamarans (2, 4 local), a museum. We were on Saturday, you can do everything calmly, without fuss. You can eat at the cafe (3 or 4). Tickets for the steamer are at the catamaran ticket office, but you can buy them right on the steamboat. Gazebos stand along the shore along the canal.
We had a great time, we really liked it. Everything is clean and tidy.
It is quite a beautiful and interesting place. You can ride on a pleasure boat with passage through the locks. There is parking, a cafe, and it is possible to rent a catamaran. There are gazebos equipped with barbecues.
I love the atmosphere of the locks of the Dombrovsky Canal - the feeling of traveling to another country. There is always something to have fun with: take a walk, sit in a cafe, and take a boat ride. There are good forest lakes nearby for swimming
It's a very cool place, there are many interesting locations, you can see how bridges are built and the gateway works, there is a rental of boats and other watercraft. There are gazebos and barbecue areas. Atmospheric.
A very beautiful place in the Grodno region! The picturesque nature and clean air made this place unforgettable. We were at the Dombrovka lock, rode on a steamship with a lock. Everything is at the highest level! The gateway itself has everything for recreation: boat and catamaran rentals, beautiful rapids and cafes with Grodno prismaks and kebabs! I recommend it!
Beautiful place, nature. Everything is well organized. The boat trip is not bad, but it could be improved a little: there are a lot of people, there is nowhere to sit, it would be good to add an audio guide so that tourists can know what is happening, where we are sailing.
The journey there takes a little time, the last few km on a not very good road - so I would not drive a car with a low landing ((
I liked the channel itself without frills, the staff is cheerful and kind, everyone tried very hard to make these few minutes a little miracle)) it was worth it - I had never seen such a threshold of water before - it is interesting to look at this process, tickets : at a very reasonable price, we found out the schedule in advance and well : because we would just sit and wait a long time, if a group is not recruited, they simply do not ride on a steamboat, at the moment the weekday schedule is at 12 h ,16:00 and 18:20 hours
There are bicycles, catamarans and boats for example
Good day.I recommend visiting this place. There is a lot to see there, both the canal itself and the park and the manual locks.Tourist ships are sailing. The Molotov Line runs through the territory with pillboxes that can be visited.I definitely recommend you to visit. The nature is amazing!!!Thanks
It is a very beautiful place, you can ride bicycles along the routes, catamarans, or swim on a motor ship. There are recreation areas, gazebos, canopies, the nature is wonderful.
It is interesting to look at the operation of the lock from the deck of a river boat. I recommend it for both adults and children.
Beautiful nature. The staff is polite and helpful.
A great place for photo shoots and relaxation. You can take a boat ride for 15 rubles per hour of walking. You can view the schedule in the insta. Of the cons, there is no toilet on the territory, few catering outlets, and a lot of garbage in parking lots
Recently, I discovered a wonderful entertainment in the Grodno region - a boat trip along the Augustovsky Canal. The pier is located 20 km from the city, it is better to check the schedule by phone - the ship departs depending on the number of passengers. The walk takes about an hour, first move towards the border, then through the gateway in the opposite direction. Great views, refreshing breeze, I really liked it. I recommend it!
A good place for leisurely walks along the canal. An excellent recreation area with many barbecue areas for different numbers of people. Pure and sincere!
A wonderful place for walking, and with children. And swim, and take a boat and catamaran ride. It's nice to relax in nature, away from the noise of the city
It's a great place. Beautiful, peaceful. A great place for catamaran trips. The only drawback is that there are no normal places for a snack on the territory.
It's interesting to see the beautiful nature. I rode on a boat, the walk takes about an hour. If you eat during the cold period, take blankets and drinks with you to keep warm. The ship does not fall off and tea is not offered. In general, the walk is interesting and everything is very beautiful around. I recommend you to visit.
I was in this place about five years ago. We decided to come with our family this year. Arriving at the place, we were a little disappointed that there was nothing new except a few summer coffee shops. The situation was saved by the fact that on the way to the Augustovsky Canal there are defensive pillboxes and forts on which a lot of work was done. The territory around was improved, garbage was taken out, paving slabs were laid in some places, a path of wood chips was added. Memorial plaques and the Alley of glory were installed, stands where you can find all the necessary information about these monuments of the Great Patriotic War.
A cool place to relax. There are gazebos where you can stay with a company, a Playground. A couple of food and drink outlets. We could not see the process of opening the gateway itself, because we arrived late. Spending a day off outdoors and taking a boat ride was a great decision.
Affordable gazebos, a pleasant place, a good location for large events, few parking spaces during the holidays. It is better to drive in from the back.
I advise you to visit, take a boat ride up and down behind the lock, a very atmospheric place, there are many green parking areas around. I haven't seen any fishermen, I don't know if it's possible to fish there,
It is very beautiful and picturesque. To get on the ship, call in advance, find out, especially on weekends. Although we had a great time riding the catamaran.
Very interesting.
The family liked this place.
We rode a roller coaster)
The location is displayed well in Yandex Navigator.
Before the trip, find out in advance what time the boat will sail on the Neman River.
The ticket price is 15 Belarusian rubles per adult, children under 7 years old are free of charge.
the place is beautiful, equipped for recreation with and without children. we rode a catamaran along the canal, but we could also take a boat (the cost bit a little)
Parking is OK, if you just put the August Canal in the navigator, then you led it into the forest, you need to specify the Dombroka gateway, we got there according to oral advice. We rode a catamaran for 5 people for 15 rubles / hour. We sailed on the boat for 1 hour at 18:20, also 15 rubles., but from each passenger. There are also bicycles for rent and tracks, but we did not ride, there is also a cool entertainment type boat and you can wet your legs along the dam - a mini waterfall, cool! In total, 3 hours was not enough!
A great place to walk: magnificent natural scenery! It is better to go during the voyage of the motor ship along the canal, to get off, this is a separate attraction here.
Picnics with your own or local street food for an amateur.
A quiet and wonderful place away from the lights, located in the pre-border area. We got out of season when the catering tents, the ship, the museum and the Belposhta were not working yet. We enjoyed the neighborhood of lebedyai and peace
I thought it would be something interesting. Because of the name, it was assumed that there was something similar like in St. Petersburg (some channels)
But it's really just a boat trip on the river.
I also go kayaking in the same way. The same landscapes, trees, reeds)
I wasn't particularly impressed.
Of interest only at the end, when the dam opens and the water rises along with the boat.
I would make a marketing move and if there was a boat trip, then with a banquet.
It was a bit boring for people to go. But if they were given something to eat and drink, it would be better 👍
The channel itself was not particularly impressed, but the gateways are. I liked the preserved fortifications of the Molotov line - Pillboxes, Bunkers, overgrown, green concrete, atmospheric and historical
The place is great for relaxing. There is a place to eat, where to spend the night. You can take a boat ride along the canal that connects Belarus with Poland and Lithuania
I recommend you to visit! Both children and adults will like it.A quiet, beautiful place. The crew on the ship with a sense of humor 🙂 the opening and closing of the airlock is a very interesting sight.
I'm thrilled! Everything is so clean and well maintained! Thanks to the Neman team for a wonderful tour!

We took an hour-long boat ride along the canal. The boat departs several times a day, depending on the number of people in the group. The passage through the gateway takes about half the time. Beautiful views of the canal, it is better to take a place on the bow of the boat, there will be beautiful photos without heads. Boarding is on the other side opposite the ticket office, you need to cross the bridge. Tickets are sold at the ticket office, which is located in the same place where boats, catamarans, etc. are rented. The cafe on the shore did not like it, they ordered pancakes, it is clear that they were fried in old oil. You can rent a gazebo on the shore.
A wonderful place, a lot of emotions, wonderful views, beauty, many places for fishing and camping, despite the fact that there are special places and even a playground! We saw moose and deer!
