Incorrect PC diagnostics entailed additional costs. I brought a PC for diagnostics after a power surge. I understand them well, but having not identified the problem with replacing the video card, I decided to take it to the workshop so as not to waste time. They wrote to me that the processor died of overheating, I asked how if its operating temperature was 89 ° C, and I monitored it and it was not higher than 60-70 ° C at peak loads. Well, okay, okay, and the fact that they told me that they launched my computer with a processor on a 2011v3 socket, and I have 2011 (sockets are incompatible if anything).
My percentage arrived today (the same as the one that allegedly burned down), and the PC did not start immediately. I shuffled all the RAM, and found out that both processors are working, all 4 RAM bars are working, BOTH PROCESSORS ARE WORKING. Problem: 3 of the 4 slots of the RAM reader burned out in the meterink.
Conclusion: repair or purchase of a new motherboard, but certainly not the processor.
Oh yes, the gold contacts of my old processor were in thermal paste, which of course I did not do, I wiped them with alcohol after "Augustine", so I will not be surprised if a person splattered them could not start from this processor.
I hope at least for my oh $$ diagnosis I have the conscience to return the money.
