We arrived with the children in August 2024.
The main criteria were: a large room, the sea within walking distance, a swimming pool and slides on site.
When choosing a hotel, I looked at the reviews. Thank you for people writing them openly.
Our choice fell on Avena.
The hotel has 5 points!
The food is delicious! 6 meals a day!
A bar with food and drinks by the pool and on the beach. The sea is warm, the weather is great)
The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The beach assigned to the hotel is also clean and well maintained.
Of the disadvantages:
The way to the sea lies through a road on which the crossing is not regulated. The drivers themselves will not stop, they have to get out in front of them so that they start to slow down.
There are several huge boulders in the sea. There is a place where you can swim in peace, but the waves can blow on the rocks.
The rest was a success!)
Definitely, I recommend the hotel.

Not a bad hotel. The sea is 5 minutes away, the food is varied, the local alcohol is strange but delicious. The rooms were cleaned every day. The animation is about nothing. The fitness room is decent, the equipment is modern. A beach with a not very successful entry into the sea (boulders), you can move a little to the right and go into the water exactly under the huge letter K on the hotel. There is a bar and a kitchen on the beach (burgers, side dishes, salad). The city center is 15-20 minutes away by bus. The main attractions are the tower and the funicular (all in the center). There is a local grocery store right next to the hotel, and a shopping center not far from the hotel.

Good afternoon! I was on vacation with a friend in September 2024! We were very satisfied with the hotel! The room was clean and cozy! The restaurant was full of food, all the food was delicious and varied! The bar is full of different cocktails and beers! The location of the hotel is 5 minutes from the sea, near the developed infrastructure! One of the disadvantages is that there is no iron in the hotels and the hair dryer was not very powerful! Wi-Fi is only in the lobby, not in the room! In general, I liked everything very much, we were satisfied and happy!

Nice hotel.
Location - One of the disadvantages is that it takes 3 hours to drive from the airport.
Pros - across the Migros road, near the bazaar, 5 minutes walk to the sea, near a beautiful promenade.
Food - cons - a weak snack bar, open up to 4 only, the beach bar is also weak, plus only juices and water for drinks.
Desserts are not tasty, and fruits are not sweet.
Pros- you can always find something to eat, they give you fish and grilled meat.
The reception is Kristina, Russian-speaking, it's just super!
Cleaning - change the towel and linen every three days, the linen is clean!
Wi-Fi is only available at the reception, you need to pay extra for the rooms.
We also caught it on the second floor, so we sat there.
There doesn't seem to be much animation.
The room was taken in the standard category, they gave a large room, 4-bed.
And another big minus is entering the sea, it is pebbly, and there are big big stones, you can get hurt.

It was in late August and early September, 2024. The impressions are the best. The room is in excellent condition, the room is cleaned daily. Good choice and quality of dishes. A small, but clean and well-maintained territory. The beach is a five-minute walk away. There is only one receptionist at the reception who knows Russian, but now this is not a problem, everyone has smartphones with a translator, and Wi-Fi in lobio is free.
In general, I did not find any disadvantages. With one correction - I'm 73, I was alone and I don't drink alcohol.

I was at this hotel in 22 and 24. The main super plus of the hotel is great food. Fish, lamb, sauces, herbs, good fruits - everything is always in abundance and there is no feeling that you are eating the same thing,
A separate plus is cleanliness. Bed linen and towels are constantly being changed.
The spa is always hotter, I've been to hotels where you can turn on the hammam only if you buy a paid procedure. Avena - love forever!!! I highly recommend it

Wonderful hotel, staff! The attitude towards the guests is excellent. I highly recommend it to both family and just newlyweds, pensioners. Clean rooms, bathroom. The food is very varied, there is even a table for those who follow the figure!) drinks, juices until 23:00. I really liked it, I definitely recommend it. Of the cons, there is no Internet, only in the lobby, and harsh mattresses on the beds. But this does not spoil the impression. I give a decent 5 stars.👍

I was here in 2021. A wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms, I had a view from the balcony to the sea. Very tasty food, barbecue is beyond praise! Responsive staff, had the temerity to fall on the tiled floor in the restaurant, the hotel staff reacted very quickly, sat down and organized an ice pack. Thank you very much!

The Avena Resort Hotel is a comfortable, modern, cozy hotel. The reception is greeted by friendly, smiling receptionists. I especially liked Kristina, who seems to know all the languages of the world. There are two bars in the lobby of the hotel, open 24 hours a day. For the convenience of guests, there are 2 elevators, 2 spiral stairs. The standard room is a two-room apartment, which has a refrigerator, a safe (for a fee), a large wardrobe, 2 TVs, slippers and snow-white terry bathrobes. Cleaning every other day, the maids were pleased with various figures made of towels. There are 3 exits from the hotel: 2 of which are on a busy street; one exit to the hotel pool with a water spiral slide, with sun beds around the perimeter. There is an animation area, a stage, and bar tables on this territory. There is another pool bar, where ice cream is served from 16-17 hours))). It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea. There are two ways: by an underground passage or by a surface one (if you have the courage to run across the road. After all, despite the pedestrian markings, drivers do not stop in front of pedestrians at all). There are sun beds with umbrellas and a table on the beach. There is a bar with paid drinks and food. Water is provided free of charge. The coast is sandy and pebbly. Entering the sea with a sharp descent. There is a beautiful pedestrian path on the embankment. The hotel is gorgeous! everything is thought out to the smallest detail!There are different entertainments and animations every day.darts, water aerobics,LED shows,lotteries,water football.gym.

all inclusive is open by the hour, but there are bars offering free ice cream, food.alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 to 23:30. Rooms are cleaned every day.the only drawback is that the walls in the room look like cardboard, your neighbors seem to be sitting with you..but it's not scary.they were in the room only at night.
On the beach from the hotel, you can also take non-alcoholic drinks for free, and lie on the sun beds.
The staff is friendly, there is a Russian-speaking admin.

The only thing that failed was the cleaning of the rooms. During the week, the laundry was cleaned and changed once.

The sea and the beach are beautiful.

We stayed at the hotel from October 25th to November 7th! Almost one Europe is resting in the hotel, there are a lot of pensioners, there are families with children and young people, Russians can be counted on one hand! Positive:meals, room stock, beach towels-you don't need to carry your own, gym, location! It was our first time in Turkey, and thanks to the Avena Hotel, it was the best, coolest and unforgettable vacation! The hotel is wonderful, there are simply no words to express admiration. There were always Russian-speaking guys at the reception - Kristina and Mikhail, they always helped with any question. We arrived late - we were fed. We left late - we were also fed. The room was a family room with a wonderful view of the mountains, we still remember it) Food is a special delight. The food is very tasty, very much, very diverse. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, night soup, snack bar and pool and beach bar. A large selection of dishes, all kinds of meat and fish, a lot of delicious desserts. The Ala kart restaurant is open 2 times a week, it's fun to have dinner there. The rooms are clean and well cleaned. The staff are such sincere people that sometimes I just wanted to come up and hug them) polite, sweet, positive. The beach is generally not bad, it takes 2-3 minutes to walk to it. Sometimes I didn't want to leave the hotel for the beach, we spent the whole day by the pool) a cheerful and positive animator conducted aqua aerobics in the pool, then beach soccer and volleyball, in general, they didn't let me get bored by the pool either)) in the evening, animation - karaoke, contests, concerts, etc. We were completely delighted. The room was clean, neat and spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. WiFi is free only in the lobby!! The rest is paid € 4 per day via WiFi. The beach where the sunbeds are there is a pleasant fine sand and on the shore there are pebbles, in the water in general the slabs are cobblestones, I hit my knee, I thought I had already sailed far away and there the slab was lying. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the embankment, along which you can walk to Alanya in 20-30 minutes. Also across the Migros road, 10 minutes to the Metro and Alanium. The only thing that does not please a little is that when you come to the beach at 8/8-30 in the morning, the entire first line of sunbeds is occupied by a beach employee, who then escorts foreigners to them, taking money for it. The hotel reception pointed out this fact. But, in fact, you can come to the beach and throw off non-hotel towels and settle down for your own pleasure)

I've been to this hotel 6 times. And I must say that the last time, in the fall of 2023, the visit was spoiled just 100%., nerves were shaken specifically. Not another foot. The hotel is small, you can explore it quickly, especially for such a number of visits)))) There are 2 buildings on the territory, the main one with reception, lobby, restaurant, strandart, family-two-room rooms with very small two rooms and attic rooms on the 5th floor, which are essentially economy rooms) and an additional one, which has ALWAYS had and HAS economy rooms. The elevator there is tiny, antediluvian, the rooms and balconies are very small. Well, yes, they did cosmetic repairs))), but this does not give the room the status of a standard. Standard rooms with a much larger area are announced on the official website, there are photos of these rooms and these are the rooms of the main building. And no more. We have always lived in the main building, as we have always bought out the standards. We were settled in the family a couple of times. In fact, the standards themselves look more advantageous. They are big, there is a lot of air and space. For the last time.Yu in 2023, we, without batting an eye, settled into an additional building, allegedly temporarily)))) for three days. Which we absolutely disagreed with. By the way, the same Christina that was written about in the reviews. Absolutely unpleasant and unfriendly. Kristina is a hotel employee who responds to the legitimate indignation of guests: contact the travel agents of YOUR COUNTRY who sell you such tours ..... I do not know what kind of citizenship she has, but if you work in a hotel where citizens of different countries stay, you simply do not have the right to such statements. Well, isn't that rude, to put it mildly. What is such a person doing at the reception desk anyway? Upon arrival, we were detained for half a day (thank you, dear girl), even detained, although the foreigners were settled immediately, without waiting for 14.00 in this very main building. But the funniest thing started on the second day of our stay. This very Christina suggested that the four of us move in on a blue eye (we were a small company, two family ones), the four of us move in until the end of our stay in family))))) You should have seen our faces. Fortunately, my husband knows Turkish, he has already talked to the senior manager himself, he is Turkish, has been working at this hotel for many years. And we were immediately given family numbers this time, but no standard. All the Russian tourists who came with us on this day settled in a similar way. Everyone then solved this problem in their own way. Contact the guides, although our guide refused to do something, write and call your agents. agentswam, a tour operator. They solve such issues quickly and categorically, they do not argue with them. For us, this is just a path to new opportunities and experiences. and for Avena, it's a ruined reputation in our case.

The hotel has its own beach with sun loungers and a snack bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are included in the beach bar. The staff is friendly, friendly and attentive, ready to solve any issue quickly. I was vacationing at the Avena Resort & Spa with my son from May 7-15, 2024. I really liked the hotel!!! We arrived really late in the evening on May 7 - very tired. They settled in a room in the evening, not very much, on the floor in the building before the entertainment. The next day, I asked to be moved to another room. My request was heard and we moved into a luxury room, my son and I were satisfied. The level of the hotel is very high! The staff is very friendly and always friendly. Which is very important for the guests. The kitchen is delicious, the assortment is very large. Cocktails are also served at the bar - they are made very quickly, tasty and with a desire to please the guests.
Despite the fact that many hotel employees speak little Russian, everything is clear.
We found a common language and understood each other.
I would also like to mention the restaurant staff, who are very attentive and caring, the attitude towards children is warm and loving. They always cleaned on time, clearly and smoothly. But I would especially like to mention Rizvan - he is very attentive and nimble. You can still look for such workers !!!
Our guide Zabid - it was nice to listen to him at the meeting. I wanted to buy a lot of excursions right away. Zabid was always in touch and helped with any issue. We are very happy with the excursions!!! There was no limit to happiness!!!

Throughout the rest, they ate only her) Despite the fact that it is a 4*, there is a bar in the lobby where local alcohol, cocktails and soft drinks are poured for free. Nearby you can take small desserts in the form of cupcakes and cookies.
The pool is clean, it is washed every day in the evening, the sun beds are also very comfortable, and beach towels are provided free of charge. There are also a lot of cats on the territory of the hotel, I am glad that no one chases them and they roam freely around the territory)
It is a five-minute walk to the beach, and you can walk to the embankment via both a pedestrian and an underground passage. The underground one is safer, but it's pretty dirty, maybe they'll fix it in the season.
Probably the only drawback was that our balcony faced the inside and in the evening the music was constantly playing, although there was no one close to the stage) Maybe it will be critical for someone, we got here from the airport by transfer for 4 hours, the road is quite difficult.

we are currently in a hotel . I want to start my review by thanking Anex for an excellent transfer to Mercedes Sprinter, very comfortable and only 2.5 hours from Antalya to Alanya. Upon arrival at the hotel at 8 pm, we were immediately put on bracelets and sent to dinner, and then immediately checked into the room. Family room room , we are 2 adults and 3 children ,two-room in the main building, good repair, everything is working properly. The food is very good, the choice is huge, a lot of meat (lamb, turkey, chicken, beef, fish) sweets, fruits. Water aerobics every day, animation for children and adults in the evening. All the hotel staff are very polite and try to please everyone, the waiters are great - they work like bees, they clean everything in the dining room at once. The management of the hotel are great fellows, competent personnel management and customer orientation are the key to success. Keep it up, I wish you success and thank you for a great holiday!

Very good food. Even sausages can be eaten) delicious desserts. A large assortment. There are always several types of meat for lunch and dinner, red fish every other day. The fruits are seasonal. Always apples, pears, bananas. There were watermelons almost every day, strawberries sometimes.
Good alcohol. The wine was so-so, but I drank, also tried gin and tonic for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the absence of a hangover. The alcohol is strong in a small glass, which is very pleasant.
During the month of my stay at the hotel, I can note the disadvantages: there is little food for children, almost all dishes are spiced, often insular. We found something to eat, but the choice is not rich. Porridge is either rice (without sugar) or oatmeal (with sugar). We don't eat sugar, so porridge was rarely in the diet. Omelet with milk, as at home, also every other day, alternates with Turkish scrambler with tomatoes and hot peppers.
The second disadvantage is that the family rooms are two-room, overlook the pool, there is also a stage, speakers, animation programs, aqua aerobics take place during the day, music plays loudly enough. In the evening until 23 o'clock. Children sleeping during the day and going to bed early, not here. The sound insulation is not very good, you can hear all the neighbors.
There is a children's room for children, and a disco in the evening. A Russian girl Julia conducts it. Good, kind.
Very good animation. 3 days a week. There were acrobats, very cool. It's interesting to watch. Turkish dances and quizzes.
The rooms are standard. Not bad, but nothing unusual. The cleaning is good. Especially in public areas. Bed linen is changed every other day.

It's a wonderful place. Everything is provided in the rooms. The interior is modern. The windows overlooked the city and the mountain, it was calm. Cleaning and changing of towels at least every day. If you put the icon, it will be removed from you. The staff is smiling, they quickly solved any issue. Special thanks for the delicious food. Just awesome desserts. The cocktails are delicious too. The beach is across the road, which is very difficult to cross. But look brazenly, there is no way out. The underpass is much worse, maybe things will change in the season. Vacationed with my granddaughter (18 years old) in May 2023, the hotel is wonderful.It's not the first time in Turkey, we've been to different hotels in different areas, but I really liked it here.The staff is friendly, not a single question or request was ignored.The room is tidy, cleaned every day. The food is excellent, there is a lot of varied food, both for children and adults. There was no animation, since it is the beginning of May, there were practically no children at that time, but there is a playground, children's slides, ice cream.A night club was organized for young people. My granddaughter is delighted. There were many foreigners in the hotel, but there were no conflicts. The young people made friends, ignoring nationalities, had a lot of fun, and still communicate. Very convenient location, close to shops, market. I advise you to buy excursions from Ahmed, we went on a jeep safari, just great. I recommend the hotel, but on vacation I advise you to relax, and leave the nagging and rudeness at home. Have a wonderful holiday, and we are going to visit Avena again in May!

The rooms are small in size, renovated in the early 2000s, but everything is clean. A huge disadvantage is the location of the building - opposite the stage, the noise until 12 at night is very strong even with a closed balcony, and the air conditioning in these rooms is very bad. We booked the standard, as a result, we were given economy upon arrival, because there were no other rooms ((( as a result of a half-hour scandal with the administrator, we were found a family two-room room for an additional fee. The next day there was a meeting with the hotel guide and it turned out that the annex had a problem with the rooms due to flight delays and many were settled in economy rooms instead of standards and asked to live in economy rooms for 3 days, and then move to standard. I rested in this hotel for a month with my daughter (08.06-08.07). there are no disadvantages from the word at all.the rooms are cleaned every day, very clean.The rooms are large and spacious.
