Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, polite staff. For the first time I tried horse meat tartare with lemon and baked pepper. I recommend it! It's very tasty!!! Baursaks with a balkaimak are traditionally good!!! Horse cheeks with eggplant puree is the most delicate dish! Thanks to the waitress for the historical excursion and review of the restaurant! At the end of the review, I want to leave an enthusiastic review about lemonades! I've never tasted anything tastier in my life! We took two types. Both are incredibly delicious. One is called, I think, haymarket. Be sure to try it! You won't regret it!)

Today, my friend and I visited this restaurant and were absolutely delighted! The cuisine is simply gorgeous, everything we tried was incredibly delicious. Palov osh was especially impressed – exactly what it should be, fragrant, crumbly, real. Horse meat tartare is just fire, and the desserts are not only beautiful, but also divinely delicious.
Special thanks to Amina, an incredibly pleasant and attentive waitress. She knew everything about the dishes, helped with the selection and made the evening even more cozy. It is clear that this place really loves and appreciates its guests.
The atmosphere is simply incredible! Warm, sincere, with a new perspective on authentic Kazakhstan. I want to stay here a little longer and definitely come back.

The best restaurant in Kazakhstan. An incredibly beautiful place, the guys have worked hard on the interior, everything looks very authentic and everything has a story that they will tell you and they will also conduct an excursion here.

A place of worship, a must-visit in Kazakhstan. Everything is interesting: from the entrance group to the food (of course). It is very beautiful, atmospheric, I recommend it to all tourists and lovers of Kazakh cuisine. Cool cocktails are made by the author, and the view is gorgeous of Medeo and the mountains. Except that the potatoes didn't survive in beshbarmak, everything was great. I went with my wife recently. But as they say, it tastes and colors (I'm talking about the besh and the ingredients). I definitely recommend it.

the most authentic establishment from A to Z, with a modern approach to cuisine and top-end service. It was an exceptional, completely new experience for me. About everything in order.
The atmosphere begins with unusual doors, and with how beautifully snowflakes and mountain air fly into the hall with the arrival of guests. There is tea, water and nuts in the waiting area. The restaurant has two halls: with a cot where you can comfortably sit on the floor and a traditional seating at the tables. The kitchen is open. You can see the cooking of pilaf in a cauldron and tortillas in a tandoor. A feeling of warmth and comfort immediately comes. The music immerses you into a pleasant trance state, literally everything has been done to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere.
The menu is unusual, a completely non-trivial set of dishes. Everything is in a modern trendy design. I tried what the restaurant is proud of.
Horse meat tartare. Pretty exotic, right? But it is incredibly tasty, the perfect balance of taste is the maximum pleasure for lovers of raw meat.
Lamb brisket with potatoes, a very satisfying dish in an exquisite presentation. Instead, I was offered local trout, but I really wanted to eat plenty of gorgeous Kazakh meat.
Apple dessert with gold leaf. The apples themselves are from the restaurant's garden. They say that soon there will be cider too. For me, the dessert is pleasant, but without the "wow".
Drinks include local riesling. Unexpectedly fine wine, I highly recommend tasting it on occasion. And fragrant herbal tea.
I would also like to note the exceptional service, above all praise. I would say exemplary.
The restaurant has a summer terrace, I can imagine how luxurious it is here in the summer when it is open! A reason to come again!
I definitely recommend visiting this impressive institution. Book tables in advance.

One of the best places I've ever visited in my life. I definitely advise, yes, I advise, this is a MUSTHAVE to visit!
A neat, cozy, warm and soulful place with responsive staff and gorgeous views.
I flew from Moscow for this place and did not regret it!
Here is the most delicious tartare that I have tried — be sure to take it, I did not even know that horsemeat could be so tender! And the pepper sauce and peppered lemon are immersed in a gastronomic orgasm!
Besh 1000/10! Horsemeat, horsemeat ham, kazy, lamb + delicious noodles and shurpa!
Bauyrsaki with balkaimak is simply the best dessert that you can think of!
Besides, there is a good wine list!
It was my birthday and I was also congratulated, complimentfully served a cake that was very tasty!

But the biggest plus is just incredibly delicious food.
I took tartare and lamb, I haven't eaten so delicious in a long time.
I also advise you to take desserts, although I'm not a fan of sweets, but I couldn't stop. In general, a solid top five.

It's a beautiful place. The interior, the kitchen, the service - everything is top notch. The waiter talked in detail about each dish. He told us the story of the restaurant's creation. There were 5 adults and a small child. We took 4 salads, 5 hot ones, 4 desserts and a bottle of local wine from 17 years old. Everything is simply magnificent. We paid about 200 euros. Definitely, I recommend it.

One of the colorful establishments of our city, with neo-nomadic cuisine. I consider it unique, as it is located on the mountainside in the Medeu tract. The view is gorgeous, the kitchen is simply bombastic. Of course, it is difficult to book right the day before, you need to take care in advance, as there are always a lot of people who want to eat in such an authentic restaurant.
Certainly one of the best restaurants in our city. There are always a lot of foreigners, and it is a real pride that our Kazakh cuisine, combined with the atmosphere of the Medeu tract, is in such demand. I definitely recommend you to visit. Be sure to try baursaks, samsa, pilaf and desserts!!! 10/10

I have been to the restaurant 5 times and in most of them everything was fine: delicious food (I advise you to take Dungan noodles and samsa), pleasant service, interesting interior and just a gorgeous view of the mountains.
But last time I was dissatisfied with the service.
I have booked a restaurant for 21:30. My friends were delayed because they blocked the road (the restaurant staff said that this happens periodically). As a result, at 21:56, the waiter came up to me and said that they would stop taking orders in 4 (!) minutes. I called my friends and made an order for them. The waiter came over 10 minutes later and said they couldn't cook because the kitchen stopped taking orders.
And now a funny moment: the restaurant is open until 00:00
In the end, everything was cooked, but since I invited everyone to lunch at this restaurant and advertised it for a long time, I was dissatisfied.

Lack of reservation and lack of parking, I don't know how to get to the restaurant, but if they book a table and places are limited, then you need to at least inform and answer the phone, well, book parking if you know that there are no places for cars either.
Everything else in the restaurant is fantastic!!! The first is the location, of course such a location is just iconic and it's 5* at once! The views are amazing, there is a swing outside! The air is wonderful 🤩 The restaurant itself and the interior also deserves its 5* - very beautiful, authentic and interesting. About everything it is built of and when you will also be told. In general, they will tell you about everything and about the details of the dish and where they come from, and help you put them on plates correctly - the service in the restrane is 5 * plus! And of course the food - yes, someone may not have the most delicious meat, the perfect starter or dessert or author's cocktails, but for those who love meat and in general the national cuisine comes in - it will be a gastronomic paradise for 5 *.
In general, I recommend that you definitely go to this restaurant and enjoy the cool cuisine, view and service ... ... well, of course, provided that you can confirm registration and that you do not have to park somewhere unknown 😅

I was a little confused that the recording was only through the app (I had to download it), since I couldn't get through on the phone. And also, the visit time is typically limited to 2 hours. This is a unique restaurant of neo-nomadic cuisine AUYL.
In the design of Auyl, natural materials peculiar to this area were used. The interior of AUYL is a kind of monument to decorative and applied creativity. Chairs, carpets and decorative ornaments are handmade by artisans. The products are processed in such a way as to age naturally, becoming covered with a patina of time.
The main idea of the menu is Central Asia from the time of the nomads. Most of the dishes are prepared on the basis of the three most important ingredients in this culture: water, flour and meat. Cooked over an open fire, in cauldrons, on the grill, in a tandoor, the food becomes incredibly delicious.
