The entourage and interior of the establishment resemble more a cafe than a restaurant, the staff is young but professionally serviced.
The food leaves much to be desired, the quality of the dishes varies greatly, not only from dish to dish, but even in one dish there may be both incomplete and overcooked and overdried products. From what I liked, I can single out an amazing borscht with smoked plums and carbonara, the quality of meat dishes and seafood depends on how lucky you are, mostly it's over-dried meat that is very difficult to chew, for a fairly good price I would like to have a more stable food quality.
To begin with, the service in this institution is the worst that I have ever met in my entire life.
During the gastrofest, I booked a table for Saturday evening in a few days, gathered a small company and expected to have a good evening and eat delicious food.
We arrived a little earlier than the table was booked, and I just decided to check with the staff if there was an opportunity to sit down earlier, because it was cold and rainy outside. From the moment I arrived at the establishment, I immediately realized that I was not welcome here, the staff ignored my presence and continued to go about their business, although it was obvious that I was standing next to the bar and wanted to ask something. When I finally caught the waiter (who, by the way, has quite long hair that was not tied and clearly had been in more than one dish of the guests), I asked my question and also decided to clarify whether my reservation was valid in 20 minutes, because I saw that the place was full boarding. Unfortunately, the waiter could not help in any way, but the bartender talked to me and explained that they did not know when the table would be available, because "they understand everything, but the guests do not understand." Unfortunately, booking a table in this institution does not mean that the table will be free, it all depends only on what time the previous guests decide to leave, who were also not informed by anyone that there is a time limit.
After such a "warm" reception, my mood was spoiled, I would have gone to another place, but, unfortunately, without booking at this time of day, there were no empty tables anywhere. In this regard, we had to "fight" with the staff for some time for the right to finally sit down and eat. They talked to us reluctantly, no one wanted to solve the problem, and there was simply no competent person who could help. The bartender also told us that since we were already so negative, it was better for us to choose another place altogether.
When we were finally given a table, the waitress did not offer drinks, did not ask for anything, we had to go to the bar ourselves, look for the menu, and then catch her to order drinks. We were sitting right next to the bar, but we still made drinks and carried them for a very long time, although by that time half of the hall was already empty. And so it was in everything; no one took away the dishes, they also had to be reminded about the desserts, so they forgot to take them out. Both waiters were hiding somewhere and all the guests were left to themselves. If I wanted to do self-service, I would have dinner at home.
I would like to note that we were not the only ones who were unhappy, other guests also complained that they had asked for the bill 20 minutes ago.
There were also good moments: a very tasty hot dish from the set, tiramisu and drinks. Thanks a lot for that!
I can describe my dissatisfaction for a long time this evening, but I hope that this information will be enough for the management to think about hiring at least one competent person, and not five very young people who do not know how to communicate with customers at all and do not think about the reputation of the institution.I will avoid this place and obviously cannot advise, thank you for your attention.
