A wonderful restaurant "Assir", which is located in the gorge, where it is always cool, the mountain river is noisy, waterfalls are pouring. It takes about 30 minutes by car from Sukhum. The restaurant itself consists of many secluded corners and gazebos. It can be a gazebo above the water, or right on the cliff. Overhanging cliffs, a mountain river, huge boulders in the midst of a raging stream. Waterfalls are pouring everywhere, it's very beautiful around 🏞 AND DELICIOUS 😋 Local dishes are prepared in the gorge, there is a wine cellar with homemade wine🍷 Delicious Abkhazian cuisine 🫶

A place where the food is really delicious: solyanka, boats, meat - everything was delicious, even out of season. We had a rest in the middle of October I will not recommend homemade wine, I took dry white wine, it turned out to be semi-sweet, unfortunately, in Abkhazia they simply do not know how to make dry light wine :) It's definitely worth going to the cafe after a walk! This is one of the few places where you can eat delicious food :)

It's a very atmospheric place. The beauty of nature delights and fascinates. The cafe serves you quickly enough. The food is hot and fresh, the opinion is not unambiguous: something without salt - hominy did not seem clear to us, but something very rich - beans in a pot are super spicy and salted strongly, feijoa compote is above all praise, the fish is very good. Of course, the price for a full meal is high, but the place compensates for the impression. Impressions and emotions are only positive.
