Good afternoon!
We had a vacation with our family in July 2024. The child is 4 years old. I liked everything.The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioner saved me in extreme heat. The pool is nice. The dining room has excellent breakfasts and a selection of dishes. Three changes of linen. It is a 10-minute walk to the sea with a child. A wonderful dining room on the way to the sea "Mandarin" lunches and dinners at affordable prices. There is a bus stop nearby, if you want to go to see Gagra and Pitsunda (20-25 min drive), the fare is 100 rubles.
The administrator helped with any question. In very bad weather, the lights were turned off in the village, but the hotel had its own generator and we did not sit in the dark! If you are considering this option, we recommend it, you will not regret it!

I really liked the hotel.I am surprised that such hotels have appeared in Abkhazia!The rooms are clean, cleaning every day, linen was changed for 9 nights 1 time The pool is warm outside, cleaned every morning! The dishes in the kitchen are also all clean. We rested in July 2024. The room is not large, clean, it has 2 single and 1 double beds, a wardrobe, a coffee table and 2 chairs (for four people), a toilet combined with a shower, air conditioning and a small refrigerator, dryer, TV. When we stopped just off the road, I wanted to take a shower, but there was no hot water, we washed cold. Then there were several more times when the water and light were turned off. There are two pools on the territory, one deep, there is no children's area in the pool, a problem for those children who cannot swim, warm, illuminated, there is an area next to the pool with sun beds and umbrellas, 2 areas for eating equipped with microwaves, electric kettles, sinks and dishes, but there is no stove for self-cooking This was not specifically stated in the ad, but it was her own fault, as she did not specify it when booking and checking in. You can order a buffet breakfast, the price is 600 rubles per person. Linen and towels were changed every three days, and the foot towels were changed every day. Washing and drying is paid 300 rubles, they asked for a basin, they gave us, so I washed from the bottom of my heart. There is no sound insulation in the rooms from the word with everything, the audibility is great. It's a decent walk to the sea, past cafes and shops. Our vacation was brightened up by a beautiful view of the mountains and the administrator, the kindest-hearted person Raisa, turned to her for any question, answered, showed, thank you very much to her.

We had a rest in July 2024. The hotel is only for overnight stays. Do not wait for cleaning, there was not a single time during the 8 days of our stay there, not even the slightest hint of cleaning. The wife herself washed the floors a couple of times. The only thing, upon request, was once provided towels for a change. Toilet paper was purchased independently. Breakfast is organized in an open cafe at the hotel, at a cost of 600 rubles per person. An adult man may be able to eat for that amount, but a child... unlikely. Therefore, it is more profitable to go to the nearest cafe and have a snack there. One of the advantages: a roof over your head. And that's about it. The pool looks clean, but the children splash in it until late at night and in my opinion it just does not have time to clean up, as in the same Turkey, where you can no longer swim after 19.00. The sea is 700 meters away, a 15-minute walk. The cost is 5000 rubles per day. The Internet is not any kind, it needs to be caught. In general, for a good rest, I would not recommend it.

There is one refrigerator per floor. Breakfast buffet. It's simple, instant coffee. Each room has a balcony. It is 800 meters to the sea. There are a lot of shops along the way. That's why you don't notice the distance. We liked the pool. The water is warm, clean. It works until 23.00. I didn't like the mattresses. In terms of convenience, it seems normal, but the mattresses are squeaky. Any movement, even with the head, causes a nasty creak. Not comfortable. Noise insulation is also so-so. But we didn't expect anything for such a price. Everything tripled us.

Well , just for information - 15 minutes to the sea at a leisurely pace , on the way to the sea there are shops with souvenirs , things and products . There is no refrigerator in the rooms , but there is one shared per floor .

We stayed at the hotel from 02.07 to 10.07. My rating is 4.8. A good place. We were lucky with the weather =) The breakfasts are monotonous, but hearty and delicious. The room is clean, there is a TV, but there is no cold (in double rooms). Cool pantry) Split works well. A great pool - the children are delighted. The top cafe is a dining room with a cool view of the pool and pleasant light music. In the afternoon and evening, you can have a snack here according to the menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. Of the minuses: it's a little far to the sea (10-15 minutes), the electricity was turned off (but not particularly annoying), well, in general, Abkhazia and its charms became more expensive by 30-40% than in 2021. We had a vacation in August 2023, lived in a house with a family, two adults and two children. There are no complaints about the number, on the contrary, everything is clean, cozy, new furniture, rationally arranged, there was enough of everything. The breakfasts are very good, there is always an assortment of different dishes, even my fastidious children left well-fed and satisfied. The pool is clean, the territory is well maintained. A separate menu is offered for reasonable money. Gorged on delicious pizza, Caesar and pasta). It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea, but on our vacation it was sultry heat and we drove by car). Rooms are cleaned every other day with wet cleaning , towels and bed linen are changed . If they see garbage in your hands, they immediately run up to take it and throw it away.The breakfasts are monotonous, but the pancakes, pancakes and coleslaw are gorgeous.

The hotel itself is located away from the road, which is very comfortable. The lights are turned off very often, but the generator is turned on, Wi-Fi is not working well, especially in the evening. We rested on the third floor in the main building. Any issue can be resolved with the owner. The bathroom smells like sewage. Overall, the hotel is good.

We were in Abkhazia for the first time! The tour operator offered the Askar hotel. Everything corresponds to the reviews! I was very pleased with the pool, which was cleaned every morning. Daily cleaning, linen change every 4 days! The breakfasts are ordinary! The staff is friendly. Violent vacationers interfering with others were evicted in front of us, it is immediately obvious that the hotel is family-run. To idealize, I would move this hotel to Gagry or Pitsunda so that there would be an opportunity for an evening walk in beautiful places. Alakhadzy is for those who want to be a seal, swim in the pool, walk to the sea through the market and who do not care about visual beauty!

Among the disadvantages of the hotel: the room is small, THERE is no refrigerator in the room, there is a common floor!, rooms for 10-15. The audibility is great with the neighbors. The parking lot is small for such a hotel, they all build and build houses on the territory. The pool is small and square. It takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the sea, along a narrow street with only a carriageway, where a bunch of cars of horsemen scurry back and forth.

No! Never again:
A large Armenian village. Dozens of cheap hotels. Drunken common people in droves, from the very morning both on the roads and on the beach, start drinking at breakfast. The beach is wide, not equipped with anything, waves, in the evening I start driving UAZ cars along it. There are a million canteens and shops along the streets, shish kebabs are fried, music like chances and Caucasian tom-toms are booming.
If you have a car, it's better to leave early in the morning for Pitsunda, everything is MUCH more decent there, even the sea, and close to the village, just come back to spend the night.

We booked a 2-seater, settled in a 3-seater. Positive:
- good location (10 min to the sea)
- quiet location, the hotel is located 100 meters from the road, in the depths
- well-maintained territory
- heated swimming pool
- the bed and mattress are comfortable
- clean room, gel, shampoo, soap
- barbecue area (you can cook a barbecue yourself)
- parking for cars
Cons:
- TV has a weak signal, it works for 10 minutes and the signal disappears
- the lighting is dim, in the bathroom you need additional lighting above the mirror
- sound insulation is poor due to the thin door, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor
- the water heating tank is small, it was enough to wash one quickly, then you wait for the water to heat up
- wi-fi is weak, when the power is turned off, there is no backup power supply system for the operation of pumps and water supply (shower and toilet)
no light - no water
- breakfast outside, under a canopy, at +15 it was uncomfortable
- a hair dryer is provided on demand, very small, not powerful
- the air conditioner is not well positioned, it is directed directly at the bed

Check-in is at 14:00, but we arrived at 9 a.m. and were checked in without extra charge. To the sea at a calm pace of 10 minutes, the street to the sea is all in canteens, tents and shops. There is a cool bar by the sea. The rooms in July were not cheap, but we did not spare the money, another pleasant moment is that a triple room costs the same as a double room. The only drawback is weak Wi-Fi, but perhaps this is due to the fact that there are a lot of users.

We had a vacation in June 2022 with a family with two children. I really liked the hotel. The quadruple rooms are new, clean. Cleaning every other day, linen change 1 time in 4 days, new towels. The staff is very responsive, responds to any request. The price included only breakfast, lunch and dinner can be ordered from the menu, but there are many cafes and canteens nearby, you can not get attached to the hotel during the day because of the food. I would like to say separately about the pool: clean and very warm, the water is heated around the clock. Even on bad weather days, the water was + 28, the children did not get out of the water. There is a good playground for children, in the evening the kids gathered and played there, the children found new friends, they were not bored)) There is a barbecue area, you can make a barbecue and sit on the equipped veranda. To the sea at a leisurely pace is a maximum of 15 minutes. By car 2 min. The only drawback is the low Internet speed, but we solved this problem by buying a local SIM card and distributing the Internet to each other.

The door to the toilet did not close, it smelled like sewage all the time, the Wi-Fi light was constantly turned off, the TV did not work at all, the door to the balcony was very small, it was impossible to open because the bed was in the way. As for the food, the breakfasts are monotonous, tasteless, if the children did not finish the cereal, then the staff constantly grumbled that they would gain from greed right in the face, they do not eat themselves from greed? From the hotel to the sea, it takes about 15 minutes to walk along a busy street right along the road, where cars drive endlessly back and forth. This means that there is no infrastructure in this village. If you want to see the sights of Abkhazia, then there is nothing to do in this village, it is better to go to Gagra or to Pitsunda right away.

We stayed up all night under their windows, not sleeping, because it is not possible to fall asleep with four people in the car. The phone numbers of the owners are indicated in the dining room - one was turned off altogether, the second was not answered. We tried to get in touch via Whatsapp - silence too. As a result, at 7 a.m., the staff finally woke up, and the girl was able to contact the hostess. We were told - "apparently they forgot about you." The only plus is that the money was refunded - a deposit at the time of booking.
While we were awake, we reached the beach in the morning - the sea is clean, but the beach is unkempt, there is garbage everywhere.

We had a rest in September 2020, we really liked everything. The weather was hot all the days. The sea is the purest. The food is delicious, homemade. Wine and cognac are on the level. There is a barbecue area and a playground with a trampoline. A large, nice pool. Large surrounding area.
The place is designed for a measured family vacation. Quiet at night, calm during the day. There is Wi-Fi, but the speed, of course, leaves much to be desired, especially when all the vacationers are on the territory of the hotel, however, some vacationers even managed to work remotely.
There are shops nearby. It's a long way to the sea, but these are small things, but there are wonderful views of the mountains around. At night, you can hear the sound of the surf. Minibuses to Pitsunda and Gagra pass by the hotel.
We were very pleased that we chose this particular hotel for our vacation. Many thanks to Albert and all the staff, I would like to come here again in September 2021.

Room: Upon arrival, they first gave the wrong room, although they ordered a mountain view. The right number was won back. Immediately to the cons: there is only one chair on the balcony, everywhere in the entire hotel, there is only one chair for 2 guests. Where to sit in the room there is only a bed. The socket by the bed is only on the 1st side, and the second one is under the ceiling (seen in the photo). There is a refrigerator on the floor on the stairs, there is no room in the rooms. No kettle, no tea, nothing. Well, there is no hair dryer in the room, the girls will understand, this is a fiasco.
Swimming pool: the only good thing, perhaps. It's clean, it almost doesn't smell like bleach. Heated.
Kitchen: you can't tell without tears. For breakfast they give: sausage with cheese, a terrible omelette, tomatoes, cucumbers, hard-boiled dry eggs and cereals with milk, well, sweets. That's it!!! AND so IT IS EVERY DAMN DAY!!! When I read in the review about the monotonous menu, I did not think that it simply does not change from day to day. How do you like it yourself?!?! Even instant coffee. And only for extra money, the dude, if of course you catch him on the spot, will make you a normal coffee
Staff attitude: with all due respect to the local mentality.. during the entire rest period, only Arthur was seen. He's the host, he's the receptionist. And he doesn'T GIVE A DAMN about you! I just don't care. When approached with some kind of request, he is always on the phone and with the phrase "What?". I mean, damn it. Well, at least there should be some concern about the guests!
I don't see any point in talking about the advantages. Since I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

Now we are choosing where to relax this summer and saw the rates in this hotel, so we were shocked the price has more than doubled and now they only serve breakfast. What has changed in a year ?!?
The rooms were without cabinets and remained , and I doubt that refrigerators were added. The broken glass cost 400 rubles .

Plus this hotel has a swimming pool!
