The hotel left a very negative impression, even shocked. I would like to say right away that we understood that we were going to a 3* hotel, there were no high expectations, I have a lot of travel experience, I have stayed in 3* hotels more than once and specifically in 3* in Turkey, and everything was more or less acceptable. After reading reviews in some places about poor cleaning in the hotel and tired rooms, I reacted to this, as usual, calmly, because there are such reviews about almost any hotel, and often people find fault. But this hotel was really dirty. As soon as we entered the room, we found hair on the floor, the air conditioner was covered with such a layer of dust, as if it had not been wiped for several months, there was dirt in the closet and bedside table, everything was covered in sand, the refrigerator was covered with yellow spots. The toilet was covered in gray streaks, the water in the toilet bowl was running non-stop. The plumbing is all very rusty, even the mirror is rusty. The furniture is stripped, the walls are stained too. Since there was no ledge for the shower, the water from the shower spilled all over the floor, but this is not uncommon. The room is very small. It's not easy to turn around in it together. The first time it happened that there was nowhere to put the bags and stick the suitcases, the suitcases were standing between our beds. The room equipment is very poor and ill-conceived. There is one bedside table for two, and in this bedside table there is a drawer that opens without a bottom, i.e. it is impossible to put something there. No chairs, just a small ottoman. The closet is tiny, it has 2 hangers. We only had light in the hallway (dim bulb) and on the balcony. The bathroom switch is not located where the door opens, but where its hinges are. The bathroom didn't even have a shampoo/shower gel shelf, no towel hooks. But our main problem in the room is the ants. First they were found on the bedside table, then on the table, then on the bed. Several times they came to us with "Dichlofos", then they left it in our room. As for the dirt, it was also outside the room. In the lobby, dusty sofas are all covered in sand, a stained coffee machine is all over the breakfast table, dirty cups, I noticed that many people are standing and choosing something cleaner from a tray with cups. The food was also very poor. For the first time I was faced with the lack of grain coffee for breakfast, only Nescafe, only one type of rolls, no croissants or other pastries, no juices. Cheeses, ham, vegetables, omelette, sausages and one kind of cereal. For dinner, the situation was better: different cakes, vegetables, salads and 2-3 types of main dishes. But one of the dishes was always watched by an employee and controlled the amount of it on your plate. Of the fruits, only watermelon. As for the staff, I would not mark them as friendly and always ready to help, but they did not refuse help when contacting them. Mostly, they were busy with their own business, rarely greeted the guests, unless you yourself attracted their attention. This is the first time in Turkey that we have encountered so many stray dogs and cats, there are a lot of them, they are everywhere, many need veterinary care, but, unfortunately, they do not receive it… The perimeter of the hotel is covered in cat and dog faeces, no one cleans it. The beach is also very dirty, everything is covered in cigarette butts and other debris. There are no urns, there are black bags in some places, but they still need to be seen. If garbage is removed, it is in such a way that it is raked into heaps, and so everything is left. The shower on the beach is in terrible condition, leaking, everything is rusty, toilets too, there is no light, nothing comes down, dirt. Changing booths (many) in urine. There are two lifeguard towers on the beach, but we did not see any rescuers, and the red flag was hanging all the time (in any weather). As for the advantages: This is nature, of course! The sea is very beautiful, the location of the hotel is as close to it as possible, and very beautiful sunsets that can be observed during dinner.
We had a family vacation on August 23, we were satisfied with the choice. The convenient location of the hotel, the very center of Lady Beach, the sea is under the window, the food is good, you can see the chefs are trying. Delicious peaches, watermelons, pears are also a plus of rest. The stop is under the windows, it is convenient to go to the city center. The cheap A101 store is right next to the hotel. And of course the gorgeous views from the hotel to the sunsets over the sea.
The downside is that there is not enough high-quality cleaning in the rooms, the plumbing is old, the taps are in a raid. And the lobby on the ground floor lacks a sense of cleanliness. Although the maids worked regularly, they were polite.
I liked the hotel in general, the location, the food, the sea view.
Solid 3* . A wonderful hotel right on the first coastline, with a sandy beach and a gentle entrance! Yes, there is no territory of its own, but the proximity to the sea covers this small blemish))) The hotel staff will always come to the rescue! Very responsive and helpful! The bed linen is always snow-white! Maids clean every day, and towels are also changed, but I asked not to do it so often, 2 times a week is enough, and bed linen too. They are always smiling and attentive!
Meals at the hotel - you will definitely not stay hungry! Not a lot of variety, but you can always find what you prefer.I always give a bold + to the Asena Hotel for the location! I got up early in the morning and went for a quick swim!!! Lepota!!!! I recommend it straight to the unassuming!!! For those who are going for luxury apartments and expensive food, sorry, but you are not here)))
I love you my hotel "ASENA"!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
