We were passing through in October 2023. We arrived at 9.00 a.m. We had to wait until 9.30 a.m. until someone from the local came to change the money. She didn't want to accept us with Russian numbers (the employee came out and looked). When it turned out to get to her, she began to ask for a residence permit and registration. In general, the attitude is terrible. I do not recommend either this place or Kazakhstan to visit.
