Everything is fine overall. But there was a little trouble. I paid for an additional day on the spot using the card. I gave the manager my card, he entered all the numbers from it into the system and the numbers on the back side. The payment allegedly failed. I gave you another card, the payment was made from it. But in the end, the money was debited from the first card. It is not clear who is to blame. Our bank transferred it to a Turkish bank. And whether the Turkish bank eventually transferred it to the hotel account is not known. In general, the money was not returned to the card.
Be careful not to let employees enter numbers from the card into the system.
This was done, as if for my own good, to find out where the conversion fee is lower.
And the hotel is quite authentic, the breakfasts are good, the people are helpful and good.
Three identical dogs meet us at the entrance. Two of them are not very kind, and they all bark very loudly. I wasn't warned about this, and besides, I'm afraid of dogs.
I sit down on the couch at the reception, and one dog jumps up with dirty paws and sits next to me. The smell of a dog is present. Very unpleasant! This is the first time I've seen a pack of dogs in a hotel.
The staff is generally friendly. I want to note that everyone is dressed randomly, the hotel staff does not have their own style. And in their dining room, at breakfast, there was always a feeling that you were the same annoying "guest" who lived for weeks, ate, shat and did not leave in any way. It's been like that since day one. The intense tension from them was felt in the morning. Even a certain nervousness.
Breakfasts are mainly bread products. Everything is very concise. For example, who needs dill or peanuts for breakfast? The coffee is always slightly warm. Probably instant, such a disgusting thing, it was impossible to drink. One day, even the cups were not prepared at all, and they started swearing in the kitchen, searched for some time, after which they brought two (!) mugs for their entire dining room and at the same time of different sizes and colors. I do not know what it was.
From freshly cooked vegetables that float (!) in oil. It's delicious, of course we don't cook like that at home) The sausages are not bad; they are cut into very small, very unequal pieces. There is also homemade rustic sour cream, it's strange — few people took it.
During the five days we were there, no one ever came up to me and asked if I wanted their local scrambled eggs or something like that. On the first day, during breakfast, the waiter began to clear away the dishes and took up the fork below the middle with a dirty glove. After thinking about it, he put a dirty fork on the table, collected my half-eaten breakfast (I went to pour coffee and actually did not plan to throw it away), he crumpled, then took the fork away. It was too late for him to say anything.
Signature cocktails were prepared for a very long time, more than 20 minutes. At the same time, the same people brought beer to the neighboring tables, and asked us again and again if we had ordered anything.
Cocktails were brought, one was only half filled, most of it is crushed ice. Not wow for 550 lire, so-so. The other glass is full of ice too, poured to the top, as if diluted to taste. It doesn't taste good.
Cleaning the room is pulling the blankets "as it was before", and dusting the tables. Once the technician forgot her green rag on the table.
They didn't wash the tub. I stayed dirty for three days, but they didn't forget to take the tips.
I looked at the photos in the reviews — someone had shampoo, we didn't have it.
There is a strange convex mirror on top, it is unclear what it is for.
There are cracks on the ceiling, covered with putty of a different color.
The bed is comfortable and soft, the temperature in the room is adjustable, it is not cold. There are two channels on TV in Russian, the rest are mostly Turkish.
We ordered excursions through the hotel.
At the quadrics, we were not warned that glasses were mandatory, we were told we only needed a mask to breathe. We arrived at the place, and there they also offered a mask (to buy from them). And the "presenter" was wearing glasses himself. No one conducted safety procedures with us. He just said where the gas is where the brake is and took off. For some reason, we drove along the highway connecting the cities. Buses, huge KAMAZ trucks, and passenger cars are flying towards us. It was very scary. Other groups were traveling parallel to the road, and we, as the bravest, were in the way. I still don't understand how I didn't get hit by a truck that ill-fated day. The tour guide is no kid. We took it for 2 hours, and he: we stand here for 15 minutes, there for 10 minutes, several more times for 10. As a result, we rode for less than an hour. They may have such a route, but we were not notified about it.
Eyes full of sand, nothing is visible, in one place they made some kind of "lap of honor" and the guide drove away. There were icons in the stones above, which I read about before the trip. I noticed them quite by accident. I was very impressed, I wanted to go back, but there are narrow roads, I can't drive in reverse. I say there are icons, let's go back sometime, I would like to take a picture or look at what the guide says: "Well, icons, what icons? We will not go back. Stand here for 10 minutes and enjoy." After 10 minutes, we drove directly to the point from which our journey began.
In general, these stone cones with icons are not very far from their office, if anyone is interested.
The office has its own price list, paid, returned to the hotel — there the prices are announced by others. Initially, there was also a certain price, and the hotel could not decide whether this was the case or not.
I liked the balloon ride, two hours is a lot, after an hour it gets boring. They also did not warn that it would be very hot on this "walk". As soon as the money was deposited, hello. You're not needed here anymore, get lost. That's the attitude there.
People in the city regularly ask "where are you from?" I'm speaking from Russia, their interest is fading a lot. When you name a European country instead of Russia, it immediately turns out that this is their favorite country. It's very sad..
When you have already paid for something, the smiles on their faces disappear as they never have. You can just be neutral, don't grin in advance, then you won't have to smile later.
The food in the hotel and neighboring establishments is tasteless. They will pile up hryuchevo with sour yogurt: "here, eat!" for 1.5 k rubles. But the prices are basically the same everywhere +/-. It is better to choose establishments based on reviews. The nearby locations are just the bottom. All of them, for a thousand and a half, I think they are obliged to cook delicious, and not "soooooooooooooooooooooo"
I really liked the guide with a sightseeing tour of the area. A young guy with a sense of humor, lively, active, interesting presentation of information.
The hotel itself is beautiful and unusual. There are stairs all around, a spacious gazebo at the top. In the evening, such views of the city, mmm) The place is gorgeous. I wanted to mention details such as mosaics, vases, paintings. It is selected aesthetically, with taste. Live music in the evenings, guitar and saxophone, I think. Romantic. Made with a soul, you can see right away. Only people disappointed.
Göreme.
Artemis Cave suites.
