The hotel is located in Sultanahmet district, within walking distance to the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque, and most importantly, close to the waterfront. A 3-star hotel, for an acceptable price is the best. The room is small, clean, and I got it on the 1st floor with a view of the neighboring hotel. Many people write: they are unhappy with the view from the window, but here all the hotels are at arm's length from each other. The room was cleaned every day. The air conditioner was working, as a result, we did not freeze in February. The Wi-Fi was working well, maybe because it was on the 1st floor. Friendly, slightly Russian-speaking staff at the reception. The breakfasts are monotonous, on the 5th day of the stay the food is completely boring)) All the days there were omelets, sausages, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, etc. There was always baking. In general, you will not go hungry. The coffee machine was working around the clock. What we liked the most was that the breakfasts were held on the 4th floor, with a view of the sea from the window! From time to time we went out on the terrace to admire the beautiful view of the sea and the city, not all hotels have this opportunity! On the advice of our guide, we had dinner at the restaurant on the embankment in the Nikah salon and near the Hippodrome in the Ortoclar restaurant, where prices are more or less cheaper compared to other restaurants. We definitely recommend this hotel!

I really liked the hotel, although it was a tired foundation. But if you come to enjoy the architecture and views of Istanbul, then the hotel is great. Conveniently located in a quiet side street, within walking distance of the main attractions. The room has a refrigerator, a TV (I do not know who needs it on vacation), a hairdryer. Every day the room is cleaned and soap accessories and water are replenished. The reception will always help with any questions. There is a dining room on the fourth floor, where breakfast is served in the morning. We didn't go hungry from breakfast, there was enough food. Coffee and tea can be poured during the day.There are a lot of cafes nearby and for different budgets. I recommend this hotel.

I set the number of stars. (Although a solid 2*) The hotel is nice and quiet. You can spend the night. Near the center, Sultanahmet Square. We were in February and it was cold. The bathroom is cold, and so is the room. Kondey was working on the heating, but he couldn't cope. We asked for an additional key so that the air conditioner would not turn off while we were away, they gave it to us, but the cleaner took it away and did not return it. The trick with any card failed. The breakfasts are the same every day, there is no variety. But eating well and running is quite bearable. I caught Wi-Fi perfectly, but in the toilet)))). I didn't take it from my daughters in the beds at all. It worked fine in the beds. Selective location, apparently)) There are cafes and shops nearby. The Rosselkhoznadzor card was displayed in the stores. The cafe is more careful, the prices are very high and they do not disdain to cheat. We went to the canteen at the registry office nearby, it was fine, the portions were good, not particularly expensive. Nice veranda on the 4th floor. The views are amazing, cleaned every day. They gave me a gift when I was evicted.

I liked the location. The area is "five minutes from the historical center," if you take Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, and the Blue Mosque for it. At the same time, five minutes gives you peace and quiet. We walked everywhere.
Breakfast in winter was without fruit. However, they found something to eat and satisfying. We had an early flight and arranged for something to be prepared for us. Let's go to a meeting.
The disadvantages are related to the room, or rather to the bathroom. I would like to have more cleanliness in the corners. Somehow, the plug under the sink bounced off easily and the water was on the floor. However, they quickly found a cleaner and cleaned everything.
That is, there are shortcomings, the staff tries, if asked. If not, it's all Oriental;)

It's modest, but the price and quality match. It's clean and cozy. A small room with a comfortable double bed, a table with a mirror, a wardrobe, a separate room with a shower and toilet, and a sink. Everything you need for a tourist holiday. Breakfast is monotonous, but everything is edible and satisfying. The staff is all polite. I highly recommend this hotel.

There are many disadvantages: The hotel is old, the walls look like cardboard, any movement can be heard, as if it is happening next to you, the rooms are patched, the lamps are barely lit, the wallpaper is torn off, the only thing is the bathroom more or less, the uncles are sitting at the reception, friendly, but the smell from them, as if deodorant was not invented. There are a lot of dishes at breakfast, especially pastries, but hot dishes (fried eggs / sausages/ French fries) are cold, like from the freezer, wi-fi is bad, it turns off after a couple of seconds from connecting. I'm not one of the picky ones, but the hotel is really 2 points.
Among the advantages: a clean, soft bed, a friendly woman at the breakfast service, a calm, quiet area.
If you are abroad for the first time, then you can start with such a very simple hotel, but I do not recommend it to experienced travelers, this, alas, is a bad hotel for a comfortable stay :(

The staff is polite, they can understand and explain something in Russian. The standard rooms have a refrigerator, hairdryer, TV (but it doesn't make sense, the channels are in Turkish), bed, bedside table, wardrobe, bathroom. BUT there is no kettle. On the 4th floor there is a dining room with a coffee machine (coffee can be made at any time), tea only during breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are no hooks for clothes in the bathroom, you have to go to the shower either naked or put all your clothes on the toilet lid. But the rest is normal.

I had a rest with my daughter from January 29 to February 5, 2025. I want to say right away that I am a normal person and I am used to everything, but where they put us is terrible, later paying $ 80 we were moved to the upper floor, where we could live for a week. The room needed a thorough cleaning, it was dusty and dirty. The cleaning by the staff is poor. You can't wash in the shower, the pressure is very weak. a quiet hotel, modest breakfasts, a rooftop veranda, a view of the Bosphorus, a view of the blue mosque, a little untidy on the veranda, but the beautiful view left more positive emotions, the staff communicated politely. They offered us a room, we did not approve, immediately showed us other rooms, and chose the one we liked. We only came to spend the night, so I recommend it as a quiet place.

We had a rest in September. I liked the hotel for its location, attentive staff and of course the veranda and the view of the Marmara Sea. The disadvantage is that the TV does not show any channel in Russian, there is not a single chair in the room and the smallest table. I was glad that there is access to a coffee machine, cooler, etc. around the clock. We 'll probably stop there again. In general, everything is fine.

We stayed at the hotel twice. Located within walking distance from Sultanahmed Square where the Blue Mosque and the Sofia Mosque are located. The staff is polite, the rooms are clean, the Buffet breakfast (not very varied, but you won't be hungry) is included in the room rate. You can order a transfer and ask to call a city taxi. There is an elevator.

But it is better for people of age and with disabilities to choose another place, to get to the center you need to climb a hill. The hotel is located in a tourist area. The guys at the reception are responsive, but no one speaks Russian and this is a direct disadvantage. We communicated through a translator. Currency exchange at the reception is a plus, the exchange rate is not the worst in the city, so you can exchange. I warn you, all prices from guides and markets are in dollars, in rare cases in euros, mostly lira, and you will need them. Breakfast is standard: omelette, boiled eggs, sliced vegetables, cheeses, tea, coffee, sweets. Food for 4. Cleaned every day, but there were flaws with the serving: then they will not put large towels, then they will not report shower gel, then a foot towel in the place of the facial one, then there is no water, then they put it right in two days... We still haven't figured out how it works. But the room itself and the plumbing were very tired, the shower worked only in one position and the switch was broken, water was flowing out of it. The hot water from the boiler on the roof was running out fast. There is no heating, only central air conditioning, but it is controlled at the reception, it was cold at night. There is a roof terrace with excellent views of the Marmara Sea. That's about it. You can choose, but we are not ready to move into it for the second time.

A well-located Hotel for reasonable money. The breakfast is the same, but I haven't had time to get bored in 4 days. Towels were changed every day. The audibility in the room of what is happening in the corridor and neighboring rooms is strong. But the neighbors were calm and it didn't bother. After day walks, they fell asleep without memory. Breakfasts are held on the top floor from where you can see the Bosphorus. There is an outdoor Terrace.

Terrible service! We asked for blankets for the terrace - they brought us dusty blankets from the bunks. Upon arrival at the reception, we were offered to exchange currency, as a result, the employee took the money from us, asked us to wait 5 minutes and disappeared for 40 minutes on the street... the second employee said that he could not help in any way. Wait for more and more and more... as a result, we hung around hungry at the reception for an hour, wondering if our money would be returned to us at all. The breakfasts are terrible, there is no food at all... just cereal and jam. All 4 days we had a loose circle on the toilet and after cleaning it was not even repaired. Towels leave much to be desired, until I threw them on the floor, we were left dirty with the smell of chlorine. We had 2 birthdays and instead of congratulations from the hotel, at 8 a.m. when a friend came to us with a song, an employee came from the kitchen and told us to be quiet - people are resting! And the hotel's pos terminal does not accept debit multicards, which in Istanbul you can use to pay at any shop and buy a travel card.

we stayed here for the May holidays in 2019. There are bed bugs in the hotel rooms - and that says it all. The bites were not immediately detected. they realized that it was bedbugs even later. and we caught these little ones, we can say on the last day before departure.
