The location is very convenient. The main attractions are nearby, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Gulhane Garden, Sultanahmet Square. And the public transport stop is close, a little further if you walk, you can reach the grand bazaar, the Suleymaniye Mosque.
About the hotel itself- we initially booked a room without a window, in the basement. It smells very damp and uncomfortable. With a surcharge, they changed to a room with a view of the Bosphorus, but without a balcony. The rooms are old, the plumbing is broken, and the rooms are not cleaned. Only the garbage is taken out. The breakfasts are not very good. It's the same thing every day, very scarce. The reception staff speaks Russian. There is a cool terrace with great views, swings. Sometimes they had breakfast there. The hotel wasn't very good, but it didn't spoil our vacation, as we only went there to sleep.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. When choosing, I looked at the reviews and the location. They greeted me wonderfully, very cordially! Nice people work in the department, nice men at the reception and friendly cleaning girls. The room is very simple, in this case it is important for me that the shower works well, there was a clean bed and it was warm. It was all there) If you really find fault, I would vacuum the room) Breakfast is simple, hearty, and the coffee is delicious (! instant). The hotel offered a great tour of the Bosphorus. The price is less than what is offered on the embankment. And everything is clear about the organization. We had coffee before departure in the morning) I'm happy, it's a good place. The location is also good, in the old town, walking distance to all significant places. Thank you, I will return to this hotel if possible.

The location is excellent, one stop from Sultanahmet Square. Very clean near the hotel. The rooms are good, the mattresses are new, very comfortable, the rooms were cleaned almost every day. Breakfasts are also normal. Special thanks to the staff, everyone is very kind, they explained everything in detail, suggested where, what and how! We stayed at this hotel from 03/17/2025 to 03/21/2025. The hotel is small, but very cozy. The reception is very welcoming. Young guys are working, they will tell you everything, show you everything, and help. You can immediately order food with delivery, various excursions. The hotel is located near the main Sultan Ahmet Square, within walking distance of the main attractions, a 15-minute walk. The breakfast is modest, but you won't stay hungry. The view of the Bosphorus is impressive on the terrace. It was my birthday, and I received a pleasant surprise from the hotel. Which is good news. There are disadvantages, but they are very petty and they are different for every traveler. I recommend the hotel.

Convenient location, wonderful managers who know Russian. The atmosphere is calm. The hotel itself is located in a quiet area and with minimal traffic of cars and people. It's a great option for low-budget travel. The economy room has everything you need if you are not going to live in it, but it's better to take your slippers, as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste! We stayed at this WONDERFUL hotel in November 2024. I liked everything. The rooms are clean, everything you need to eat. What a view from the balcony 🩷 the staff is cool 👍🏼 especially the guys at the reception. They know Russian 👏🏼🫶🏼 there are all the necessary shops near the hotel, and this is not a little important . In the evening, you can sit on the terrace and watch the sunset. I can say for sure that I will definitely return to this hotel 🏨 thank you very much for the warm hospitality 🩷

I chose the hotel to be close to the center and attractions, the location is super. It's a very small room, but it's clean. At this price and with such a gorgeous look, you can forgive some shortcomings. Breakfast is quite ordinary, it is worth taking with breakfast. The currency can be changed directly at the hotel, the exchange rate is quite reasonable, you can find a better one, but it's not worth it.

We were in Istanbul in early November 2024, and stayed at this hotel for a week. We stayed very long ago! Despite the not-quite-new interior, everything is clean in the hotel, the room was cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly, the guys at the reception will always help, I will tell you everything, they will advise you where to go. The tours were bought from them, and they were much cheaper than the guides. Their currency was also changed at a very favorable rate. Special thanks to the girls from the cafeteria! They're very cute. They gave us delicious food for breakfast. On the day of our departure, I hugged everyone. The location is just perfect! The location is not bad in principle, if you are not afraid of small streets with abandoned houses, but the very center.
The price is clearly below the market. Our room had a sea view- in fact, it had a roof view, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the toilet was leaking, and the air conditioner wasn't working. They cleaned badly.
Breakfast is one name out of six days we went once, there is no hot, no coffee, no milk. But there is also a penny surcharge for it.
On the plus side, they change money at the reception at the normal rate, and give you a SIM card for rent for $20.
In general, we only spent the night in the room, so it's tolerable, but I definitely won't go a second time.

Very convenient location. Almost all the main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms have not been renovated for a long time. Minimalism is everywhere. I was bothered by the lack of a kettle in the room and the lack of space for toilet paper (apparently broken). The room was expensive, with a sea view. When ordering, please note that there may be a room without a window on the ground floor. There are a lot of disappointments and scandals because of this.

A great, cozy, small hotel in 5-7 minutes walk from all the central attractions. The guys at the reception are very pleasant, friendly, they will always help and advise where to go, what to buy and where. And what a panorama opens on the roof, you'll swing. I recommend the hotel, but it's not new, but you come to Istanbul not to sleep, but to walk and enjoy the views, cuisine and of course architecture.

Cons: those who know what comfort is have nothing to do in this department. It's all mud, although someone is constantly walking around with rags and mops, but all corners, everything above the floor is covered in dirt and dust. It feels like the linen is changed after the guests leave, we lived for 6 days and 7 nights, all this time we slept on a sheet with a hole, but the towels were changed once to the same dirty ones. The toilets and showers are still sadder: dirt, mold, broken plumbing. And this applies to rooms with increased comfort.
The buffet is a separate topic. Constantly dirty tables, floors, plates and glasses. When I showed the unwashed lipstick on a "clean" glass, I was told that one employee did not have time to wash and cook, and I was sent to the reception for cold water.
In order not to spoil your vacation, choose hotels with good reviews.

I would say that the hotel is below average. One of the advantages is the location in the center, a beautiful terrace upstairs and a working air conditioner in the room. Among the disadvantages are the old rooms, our safe did not work, the toilet and shower leaked when you wash in it, there is no hood in the shower, so there is mold on the ceiling. But, they were ready to change the room the next day after arrival, we just didn't bother because it wasn't the fact that it would get better, but we wanted to spend more time walking than moving and problems.
The breakfast is so-so, you can eat something, but somehow it was always untidy: the forks were dirty, something was spilled, there were no napkins, then cups.
For some reason we were also given a room with 4 beds, although there are only two of us))
We only slept in the hotel, so it was normal for us, but I wouldn't recommend it. And Istanbul is beautiful))

I made a reservation and the reservation was confirmed, the day was paid, but when we arrived it turned out that the room was occupied. The cost is high for this terrible place. We had a hard time finding a hotel in an abandoned place. You would have to walk in dark alleys and on hills if you stopped there. The man at the reception did not regretfully refund the payment. The rooms are really windowless and in very old condition.
They offered to write a positive review and come two days later to a room with a sea view, but this is a brazen deception, there are no sea views there.
One deception and disappointment with this hotel. Don't waste your time and nerves. The taxi never arrived there, we couldn't find it in the alley, we walked. Terrible memories.

We spent 5 nights in Art City, booked through Yandex Travel, 12 thousand rubles came out with breakfast, we cleaned and changed towels every day for this money, the currency was exchanged directly at the reception at a very favorable rate, and we were also able to exchange lira for dollars upon departure.

We had a rest with my husband there from December 5th to 8th. The hotel, though, can't be called that - it's terrible. To begin with, we didn't have hot water on the first day, the next few days it was barely warm. They heated the water with a kettle (which, by the way, was also not there at first). It's horrible. There's black mold in the shower, this stuff is very dangerous. The shower is leaking, everything is wet. Everything was so devastated that it was scary to touch. There are damp stains on the walls. The mattress is dead, the linen is dead, gray. The towels stank of something (changed every day). That's horrible. There was a balcony, but it was just as dead. As for breakfast, people, this is bestiality. The dining room is all dirty. For breakfast, eggs (they were disassembled immediately), some kind of sausage, imagine if you bought the cheapest sausage and forgot about it in the refrigerator, it starts to wind and turns red. That's what they serve there. There were sliced sausages in something red, incomprehensible cheese and some other rubbish (the taste of a used sponge). Coffee is diluted. Of course, everyone came and took the eggs and that was it. Such a bestial attitude is a horror. Those who write about the view from the 6th floor (terrace), I would like to ask you, in general, in what conditions do you live at home. Because it's a nightmare there too. Everything is so beautiful in the photo, but in reality there is shit, garbage, broken tables, a broken swing. It's just beastly. The receptionist didn't seem pleasant. Basically, he pretended that he did not understand anything, only speak English. The Russian hotel is just that. One kind person from the staff helped to get a kettle. Everything is squalid, dirty and disgusting. Who gives 5 stars, you are sorry. It's scary to imagine what you got used to then and how you live. I definitely do not recommend it. If you want a normal vacation, find another place.

Don't believe the pictures. We were moved from room to room three times. I advise you not to look under the beds in search of slippers: plastic cups, used slippers, rolled-up dust, etc. in all rooms. We arrived in Istanbul for the first time and stayed at this hotel. The location is really cool, within walking distance of the Basilica cistern, ancient mosques. Very convenient transport interchange, there is a tram stop and a metro station. The hotel itself leaves much to be desired ((( The room stock is old. We were lucky to get a room with a sea view. There was no cleaning in our room at all, and we lived there for almost 7 nights. The towel was changed only at our request. The staff was responsive, but only the manager and the cook understood Russian. The food is very monotonous: eggs, cheese, soy sausage of dubious appearance, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers. The area is quiet, there are inexpensive grocery stores.
Conclusion: a very big minus is that there is no cleaning in the rooms. I would even say that this is not a 3-star hotel. Since we did not come to sit in the room, but to walk around the city for the night will go. But there is no foot there anymore!

He stayed at this hotel from November 26 to December 5, 2024.
First of all: THE MONEY WAS MISSING FROM THE SAFE. The money was kept in the room's safe. On the third day of his stay in Istanbul, he locked the safe with a combination lock in the morning, returned to the room in the evening and found that the safe door was open and $ 200 was missing. I immediately turned to the employee at the reception, he immediately said that most likely I put the money somewhere and forgot about it. Allegedly, they had already had similar situations and the money was held by the residents themselves. He promised to look at the cameras. A day later, I met this employee again, and he said that the cameras did not detect outsiders who entered my room. I asked if it could be the staff, he only said that he would not be able to open the safe if I put a code on it. But I know perfectly well that such safes are opened with a service key or a special code, in case you forgot your password. I would like to note that this employee spoke and understood Russian and English quite well on the first day, on the day when the money disappeared, he was able to communicate only with the help of a translator on his smartphone, and after that he basically stopped understanding me and spoke only Turkish. The money was never found.
Secondly: The hotel does not even have 3 stars. Very old renovation, everything is stripped, dirty, furniture and appliances are old. The rooms are practically not cleaned, either before check-in or during your stay. They leave the floor dirty, the sink in the hair and plaque, the toilet is not washed at all. The bed is not made. I somehow followed up - the cleaning lasted 3 minutes, came in, replaced the towels, took away the garbage (and not all of it), left soap accessories. Photos are attached.
Thirdly: Breakfast consists of unwashed boiled eggs, 2 types of inedible sausage and cheeses, cucumbers and tomatoes (plastic), sausages in tomato sauce, pasta with some vegetables, margarine and jam, instant coffee and sugar in very dirty jars, tea is impossible to drink. The dishes are all chipped off, the tables and chairs are dirty. This is the most disgusting breakfast I've ever seen.

The breakfasts are meager and monotonous. The view is good only from the veranda and several rooms, but you can get a room in the basement. This is not a plus of this hotel at all, because there are only hotels around and, accordingly, they have the same view. Repairs have been asking for a long time. I don't recommend it.
