Let's start with the food, it's varied, delicious, but you'll still eat what you're used to. The one who writes sparsely and equally is what everyone is. Let's not lie! A lot of dishes. But not all are clear, there are many unusual ones. Therefore, there is food for everyone! But the most divine thing is the drinks! Namely the cocktails they make. At your request, they can mix whatever you want. They can do it at their discretion. Bartenders are cute! There is also a snack bar (burgers, French fries, onion rings, etc.), everything is delicious!
What upset me is that people start drinking in the morning and finish at night😂 probably it is necessary to limit the time of issuing alcoholic beverages, it is not very cool to be in an eternally drunk society.
By the way, basically a Russian-speaking hotel. A lot of them are from Russia, Belarus.
Everyone speaks almost Russian. There are no problems with this, although there are only foreigners in neighboring hotels on the contrary 😅

THE MAIN PLUS is a very convenient location! You can walk along the embankment to the ancient city in Side. Or for 16 liras to take a ride on the number one minibus! If you need to go to novamall, you can go through a pharmacy (check with the guide) or with a transfer in the ancient city.(it is also reached by 1 minibus and then transfer to the bus to novamall for 20 liras). It is more profitable to change lira in Western Union exchangers. But it's best to bring dollars or euros with you. Go to a waikiki store or pharmacy. And ask for change in lira. After reading reviews on the Internet, we went with doubts... although the travel agent assured that the hotel received 5* this year and renovation was carried out and many changes for the better took place in the hotel.
And indeed, the reality was very pleasantly surprised.
We arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. We were immediately checked into the room, without having to wait until 14 00.
Based on the reviews, I decided immediately at the reception to ask if the room could be renovated (we were ready to pay extra) And again we were very pleasantly surprised when a young man called a guy from the staff, gave him the keys to two rooms and sent him and me to look at the rooms and choose.They did not ask for any additional payments, and there was not even a hint of it.
We checked into a room in the main building, on the second floor. The room is lovely with a fresh renovation. Everything you need is in the room. Cleaning every day.
The staff is helpful and friendly. They respond quickly to any request or question.
The territory is not large, well maintained.
Sun beds, beach towels, tables, chairs in bars are all new, in perfect condition.
There are enough sun beds near the pool, you can find free ones at any time during the day.

The location is relatively close to the sea, there is a "beach cafe" - you can sit in it with pleasure, looking at the sea.
The accommodation is not always equally comfortable (the 1st floor with access to the pool and the "dance floor with a variety platform" is very noisy and not bright enough), but we were moved to the 3rd floor without extra charges a day later. In general, the character is very friendly and solved all the issues. Fast and easy.

We had a family vacation in Turkey in August 2022.

However, I was wrong. Of course, there are a lot of different criteria by which a person evaluates a particular place of rest, a country.
First of all, this feeling of happiness and satisfaction was given by the animation team. Denise, Maxim, Alexander, Albina, Yildiz and other guys, led by their Megaboss Toprak, gave maximum delight to me, my wife and children. Entertainment during the day, workshops, trainings, evening shows and discos for children are very cool productions! That's why it's worth going to this hotel for them. Because you can fill your stomach and swim in the sea and pool everywhere, but you can get a real buzz and positive emotions only from real professionals. The territory of the hotel itself is small, but it is even convenient, because any place is at hand. The road to the sea takes 3 minutes, which in principle does not bother, because you can walk a little. Of course, it is problematic with sun beds, they had to be occupied at 8 a.m. if you wanted to lie closer to the sea. We often came to the beach only at 10 a.m. and only the farthest sunbeds near the bar were free. The entrance to the sea is good, but in places there were stones, so we always tried to go in slowly so as not to hit them. It was a little annoying in the first days, but later we got used to it and already roughly remembered the places where they came across. The sea itself is gorgeous, warm, especially in the evenings, when it warms up even more.
Now there are comments on the quality of cleaning. They can all be eliminated if management keeps them under control.
Food is fire, the chef is a real master, while in his spare time he goes out into the hall and controls the situation in the hall, the availability of dishes and serving. Everything is there for everyone, for children, gourmets, vegans. In general, with food, snacks between official meals - everything is fine. There are cookies, sweets, Turkish tortillas, fruits, French fries, nuggets, burgers for snacks. In general, if you do not have time for breakfast or lunch, you will not stay hungry.
The bar is open from morning until late at night. The situation with drinks is like this - at one bar there are prepared "vats" with cocktails - 2 alcoholic and 1 non-alcoholic, at the other they cook in front of you and each time something new. I liked whiskey from strong alcohol.
There are two water slides - one regular with two thresholds, the second spiral. If you do not neglect the security measures, you will be satisfied.
Once a week there is a holiday - Turkish Night, it reflects the whole flavor of Turkish hospitality. The holiday is very fun. It starts during dinner - you are greeted with champagne, cocktails and fireworks, animators dress up as Turkish sultans, a professional dancer performs a belly dance. Then, in the evening, an ice cream cake is solemnly taken out in the amphitheater, vacationers greet the entire team of hotel managers and the general director, dance with them - in general, the atmosphere is magical.
A separate part of my review is children's entertainment. At first, my kids didn't really want to attend various events, but then they got very involved. Russian-speaking animator Denise and her colleague work with them. They attract other children and initiate them into animators. They help collect toys, monitor children and help them complete tasks at events. Drawing on T-shirts, bags, awarding diplomas and medals for participation and winning competitions - in general, the children are sincerely delighted, they did not want to leave. The evening mini-disco has become a tradition for them, although they were quite shy before and avoided such events. In order for parents not to get bored, they are also involved in dancing once per disco.

Our friends were in Barut (it's nearby) for 2,300 euros for two for 9 days - I read reviews about Barut, some horror, solid negativity. So we have a great hotel for 70 tr for two. Special thanks to the "little boy" chef! Everything is very tasty, the staff is friendly and well-trained. And this is a great merit of the chef. He was always present at dinner and paid attention to what was better to eat and what was left on the plates. The dirty plate is taken away instantly. In general, there are no complaints about the kitchen - an A plus. I lowered my grade due to room cleaning. Disgusting. The girls speak only Turkish, they don't even understand English - papper. They don't do anything without a tip. The linen has not been changed in 10 days, there is a lot of garbage under the beds. The maids did not enter the room for three days. But we didn't go anywhere. In the end, I didn't want to overshadow my vacation and download my license. The sea is beautiful -plus 29 in September. Great food and animation in the evenings. They make a Turkish dinner on Tuesday. Everything is unusual with music and fireworks. A huge ice cream cake is brought out under the fireworks. Take as much as you want. Turkish songs and dances until 23 o'clock.

We had a rest on tour in October 2022. The hotel is located far from the sea. You need to walk for about 5-7 minutes. The beach has its own tiny territory, where sun beds are crammed even without distance between each other. I have to lie next to other people, without umbrellas and a table. There are a lot of people and children in the sea. This makes the water muddy and dirty. About 1,000 people were staying at the hotel. A room with a broken door and a balcony that won't close. There is a constant smell of sewage, so strong that there is a gag reflex. Broken sink, thin walls, lack of cleaning in the rooms.
Animation is like a children's camp. Children were painted with an aquagrimm - you can't look without tears. Three animators perform the function of DJ, presenter, coach, merch sellers.
There is a lot of food, but it is all delicious, greasy, of the same type. There is no meat, only chicken. The alcohol is all local, the cocktails are disgusting. Only beer is more or less. Everything else is impossible to drink.
And now about the atmosphere and the music. When you fly abroad for a vacation, you want to disconnect from the Russian atmosphere for at least a week. But no, in Armas Bella Sun, a Russian disco with 2MASHI, Artur Pirozhkov and everyone from this opera catches up with you.
We paid 200,000 rubles for the tour = $ 3300
They stood it for 2 days and demanded a refund. They withheld the fine, but it's better than continuing to stay in this hotel

We took a 5-star hotel, but it doesn't even pull for 4 ... on the first day, as soon as we approached the reception, the girl immediately began to say that "if you don't like the room, then only tomorrow we can change it for you," which already alerted... there was no balcony, and the view from the window was on the trash can. The next day, they came to the reception in order to change the room, to which the guy looked at us, laughed (!) and said mockingly that this was not provided for them. With grief in half, they changed our number after all :) the food tasted like that, so we ate mostly vegetables. The day before departure, we found just a LOT of ANTS in the corner of the room, which gnawed through all the packages and gifts home. I put 2 stars only for the cheerful animators and cleaners who promptly helped us get rid of the insects. And so, it's not worth your money
