I went to the Matrix 4. It feels like they showed a pirated copy or a very bad videotape from the 90s. And they took the money for the ticket quite for themselves as for dolby or aimax.
The quality is faded, there is no brightness, the focus is blurred! The screen was also cut off, the subtitles are only half a line visible at the bottom. The sound was muffled, as much as the air conditioner interrupted the sounds of the movie.
In general, this is very bad! I do not recommend it, go to normal modern cinemas.
I didn't think that in 2021 the audience would be so deceived.
The waiting room and the lobby are under partial renovation. The smell of paint, building materials, etc. The passage to the "green" hall was not even cleaned, they passed through dirt and debris from repair work.
Do not take food/snacks at the checkout. It's dirty! The cook made a hot dog without gloves from a bun, an old dried sausage with voids inside. You can't sell that!
It looks like this cinema is in crisis, and repairs won't help. And most importantly, how can you show a movie in this quality and charge money for it!
It's a pity, but once the Arman cinema was the coolest in the city, where the first 3D stereo films were shown.
PS There is a burger bar and a Starbucks in the cinema building.
At BurgerKing, the food there is also very poor quality. This is strange, considering that it is a network and located in the city center - where are the quality standards?!
Starbucks is normal.
I really love this cinema, the staff is always friendly, everything is clean, my son and I came to the session at 10.00 am, despite the fact that it was only us, the session took place.
Once upon a time in his youth, many films were reviewed in this cinema. I don't know how things are at the building right now. There is a good cable car on the Koktyube nearby, which offers views of the whole city. Also nearby is the Kazakhstan hotel, which was the main business card of Almaty.
It used to be a very good cinema, we used to go there often as a child, but lately it's getting worse and worse, the range of drinks is small, and the view is not very good, they would have already done the restoration
Oh, there were times when only this cinema was visited. It is a pity that it does not become newer, I would like it to be upgraded inside and made more modern
I was a little surprised by the operation of the coffee vending machine. The price is written 500 for any coffee drink. But in fact, in order to drink a Latte, you have to drop 250 tenge more to the service number. It probably shouldn't be like this.
Everything is old, the feeling that everything has remained since the Soviet era, you sit like in a barn in the country, the smell of dampness is present. There is no parking. The bathrooms are unsanitary.
An old and mossy cinema, covered with the dust of the times and overpriced prices. There are no sanitary conditions in the premises closed to ordinary visitors at all
Arman is a very good cinema. The entrance is strictly masked, etc. The films are shown in good quality and can be heard well too. Recommend.

the best cinema in the CIS in 2009, in the period 97-99, the only one attracted screenings of the French Cinema week, week... movies, we even sat on the steps, watched films without dubbing with a translator in the hall
