Once upon a time in his youth, many films were reviewed in this cinema. I don't know how things are at the building right now. There is a good cable car on the Koktyube nearby, which offers views of the whole city. Also nearby is the Kazakhstan hotel, which was the main business card of Almaty.
It used to be a very good cinema, we used to go there often as a child, but lately it's getting worse and worse, the range of drinks is small, and the view is not very good, they would have already done the restoration
Oh, there were times when only this cinema was visited. It is a pity that it does not become newer, I would like it to be upgraded inside and made more modern

I was a little surprised by the operation of the coffee vending machine. The price is written 500 for any coffee drink. But in fact, in order to drink a Latte, you have to drop 250 tenge more to the service number. It probably shouldn't be like this.
Everything is old, the feeling that everything has remained since the Soviet era, you sit like in a barn in the country, the smell of dampness is present. There is no parking. The bathrooms are unsanitary.
I stopped going to court when there's a gym and a toilet with no ceiling, and there are kids running around here. 3D glasses, well, we just live in the 20th century greasy and dirty.
An old and mossy cinema, covered with the dust of the times and overpriced prices. There are no sanitary conditions in the premises closed to ordinary visitors at all
the best cinema in the CIS in 2009, in the period 97-99, the only one attracted screenings of the French Cinema week, week... movies, we even sat on the steps, watched films without dubbing with a translator in the hall
A cinema from the Soviet past that has managed to get started. There are several halls. The halls are huge. Traditionally, you can buy popcorn and drinks. The image is good, as is the sound. There is a Burger king in the building. Next to the cable car in Koktobe, the new Novotel hotel, a square with fountains. The very center of the city.
To get to the cable car, you pass through the small intestine and there is always a stopper because of the hotel, you could make it wider, so I don't go there!
The last film in this cinema was "Get Knives", after which there is no desire to return to the cinema. Now it is a pathetic semblance of "the same" Armand from childhood: the terrible "orange room" with a small screen and bad sound, the lack of toilets (I had to go to Burger king) and unjustified ticket prices for all this (even considering that it is now one of the most inexpensive cinemas in the city). Half of the cinema has already been given over to burgers and coffee, and the rest is just in terrible condition. This is no longer the cinema that we loved.
The cinema theater is just super, cheap, cool, delicious, 3D-cool, somehow top, Dostyk Plaza should have looked at Armand's prices, and Dostyk is in last place. Armand top.
