The most touristic place in Bukhara! There is a sculpture of the famous Khoja Nasreddin, and many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and, of course, the pond or house itself, along which swans gracefully float past you. Stay here for a few nights at the hotel and walk along the crooked streets, and listen to the musicians in the evening...
Labihaus is a wonderful architectural complex, very interesting, colorful, sounding with music, filled with indescribable visual pleasure :) For shopping lovers, this is paradise, there is everything!!!!! If not, they will sew it to order or make it ! Restaurants , cafes , snack bars - for every taste , and for some reason carp is especially good . In the evening , theatrical performances , fashion shows , puppet theater , as well as madrassas , mosques and other attractions are simply amazing and wonderful ! It is impossible to describe what a special cheerful and joyful movement here , a combination of millions of shades , a real holiday :))) 🍀🇺🇿🔥🍇🐪🫏🌷🧚🏼
The Lyabi House Ensemble is located in the historical center of Bukhara. The square is surrounded by three madrasahs. In the center of the square there is a pond with a fountain and swans. There are many cafes and restaurants around, and of course there are shops. There is a monument to Khoja Nasreddin in the park. The famous Jewish quarter is located nearby.
My favorite area of Bukhara, where time seems to have stopped!
Sitting in the shade of trees, admiring the architecture of buildings, walking along the streets is a separate kind of rest for peace of mind, leisurely contemplating beauty is an invaluable luxury these days
Definitely worth a visit to this place. Labi House is the heart of Bukhara, near all the sights. Walking around the city and enjoying the architectural ensembles, the feeling of a fairy tale. Very beautiful!
A great place, loved by both tourists and locals, which already says a lot. You can eat with a view of the Havuz In the cafe is quite clean, the waiters are great, the service is on the level. I recommend Bukhara pilaf and Navruz kebab, we really liked the food. 15% service is included in the bill. Despite this, the dinner will be very budget-friendly. Our dinner for two came out at 1200 rubles. If someone does not master everything ordered, the waiter will kindly bring a box and a branded package to take the excesses with him)
The place is very beautiful. Architecture, a pond with swans and ancient trees, under which it is pleasant to sit on a bench. There is a monument to Khoja Nasreddin in the depths of the park. There are restaurants and cafes near the pond
It is beautiful, near a cafe, a pond with a fountain and swans. I recommend the cafe, it's delicious and the prices are good. Clear. There is a sculpture of Hajje Nasretdin next to it. There are greenery around, a lot of benches.
The most iconic place of Old Bukhara. Not only the center, but also the most beautiful. A mosque, several madrassas, a mausoleum, a restaurant, a pond. There is a place to walk, something to see, and the monument to Hodj Nasoeddin is very local.
You have to pay for each architectural complex, the outside is often more beautiful than the inside, if you visit all the sights, it will be very expensive, so you can just look outside. It's very similar everywhere inside
Bukhara is a city that has preserved the historical architecture of not only mosques, but also caravanserais and mahallas. Especially the area around Labi House attracts with its authentic hotels, restaurants in ancient buildings. I recommend that you definitely visit Bukhara and inspect it from Labi House
Surprisingly quiet, cozy and very comfortable place. One of the main tourist locations, I advise you to carefully choose the time to visit in order to enjoy it to the fullest without the fuss and crowds of vacationers. We were at 7:00 in the morning, coincided with the arrival, amazingly quiet, free and picturesque. On the same day, we arrived at a local restaurant in the evening, the atmosphere is still inspiring, but there are already a lot of people
It's a beautiful place. I recommend that you definitely visit. Getting in touch with history, you will learn a lot of interesting things about the history of oriental costume. You can have coffee in the cafe. The shops sell the products of modern craftsmen much lower than the prices in the old town.
The most remarkable and beautiful place in Bukhara. I've been here twice, but the best impressions were left after the summer trip. Local shops have adapted to tourists, selling goods at exorbitant prices. The same goes for restaurants. There are hotels and cafes with more affordable prices within walking distance.
A great atmospheric place. In the evening, music is played in the restaurant in the center of the square. You can listen without going into the restaurant. The prices in the restaurants on the square are very humane, despite the fact that this is the most touristic place. There is a shop of oriental sweets, where you can find quite non-trivial goodies from dried fruits and nuts. There is also a wonderful monument to Khoja Nasreddin on the square. There are a lot of foreigners and locals - all relaxed and satisfied!
The Lyabi House Ensemble is a real gem of Bukhara's architectural heritage. A walk through its territory takes you to another era, allowing you to feel the spirit of the East and admire the skill of ancient architects. This is a place that is definitely worth visiting to feel the charm of the ancient city.
One of the sights of Bukhara, a beautiful and interesting ensemble of buildings and a swimming pool (house), one of the few preserved in the city since its construction in the XVII century. The mosaic masonry on the madrasah is interesting, the image of incomprehensible animals on the facade is no less interesting, which in itself is a rarity for Islam. There are several cafes around the Nadir Begi house in the shade of trees, where you can relax very comfortably in the heat. The famous monument to Khoja Nasreddin is installed on the territory of the ensemble.
Dear readers, let me be pelted with raisins if I am mistaken in assuming that one of the motivating reasons for visiting Bukhara is not the desire to pay tribute to the memory of such a character as Khoja Nasreddin.
The Gorshechnikov settlement has sunk into oblivion with the advent of new technologies and urban development plans, so the only place where you can do this for sure is to come to the monument erected to him in a place marked on maps as "Labi House".
The name translates as "by the pond". And a lot of interesting things are located "by the pond" in an area approximately equal to two football fields, I'll tell you: two madrassas, a former dervish flophouse and the aforementioned monument. The main shopping street of Bukhara supports the ensemble. (To convey the abundance of goods presented at which, speaking in Moscow, it will be the Izmailovo vernissage, moved to the Old Arbat.)
Closer to the monument to Khoja Nasreddin stands the Divan-Begi madrasah, the portal of which is decorated with an ornament other than geometric - some eagles carry pigeons in their claws. (That's how it seemed to me) :-) (This was the second place after the Sherdor madrasah from the Samarkand Registan, where some kind of animal likeness was depicted.)
Well, actually, a few words about the monument - in order to take a picture quietly near it, you need to come either late at night or very early in the morning. The rest of the time, people are crowding around him who want to check in. Somewhere during the change of photographers, I was lucky enough to rub the bronze ear of a donkey under a troublemaker for luck!
And I haven't said anything about the oldest mulberry trees growing in Bukhara, planted right there - near the reservoir.
I recommend going to the pond both in the afternoon and in the evening, because the atmosphere will be different every time and choose the one with which the "Labi House" will remain in your memory.
The museum city in the museum city. An excellent tourist area, a large number of cafes, restaurants, shops in the premises of caravanserais, you can literally touch the history. Very friendly people who are ready to talk for hours about the history of their city.
It is a very beautiful place for walking. Nearby you can eat while enjoying a very beautiful view. I advise you to take a walk there, and if you walk further away, you can walk to the Kalyan Minaret or to the Arch
There are beautiful buildings, beautiful trees, and a Stork is sitting on one of them. It's a tourist destination, and there are a lot of tourists there. You will love this place!
It's a very beautiful place. Around the perimeter there is a restaurant of the same name around the fiber, where geese swim. A lot of tourists and guests of Bukhara come here to take a walk and take pictures. An ancient building is the historical center of Bukhara.
A beautiful place, can be placed on the street or a panoramic terrace near the pond. Or inside, a decent setting, decoration. But we didn't like the kitchen. Dined without pleasure:Olivier salad smelled of fish, salad with eggplant and tomatoes-nothing to worry about, tobacco chicken is salted and breaks down into fibers. The side dish was just rice, it's delicious. We have been traveling to this place for the 3rd week in Uzbekistan. I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe, of course, we were unlucky with all the dishes except rice)))))
An atmospheric place! A pond surrounded by a madrassah. Very beautiful. Each brick breathes a history that is more than 2.5 thousand years old. On one side of the pond there is a tree trunk that is more than 1000 years old!!! You can touch it and even take a picture of it. There is a good restaurant nearby - there is a very good pilaf (I think sufi). Yes, another highlight of the architectural ensemble is the monument to the merry man Khoja Nasreddin
In a word, delight! The best place in Bukhara. A combination of traditional Muslim architecture with the atmosphere of a modern European city : a cafe around a pond, where, by the way, they fish , fountains , a square , a wonderful monument to Khoja Nasreddin , and next to another world - the Jewish quarter with a synagogue, with their special status and peculiar flavor! Bukhara falls in love with itself at first sight, and the Luby House is its main lure!
Another ensemble of Bukhara architecture! There are cafes and various stalls with ice cream and drinks nearby, it's better to be here before lunch ... then there may not be enough space) There is also a monument to Khoja Nasreddin
A great place to relax. Especially in summer there are a lot of tourists and local people. The nocturnal old town attracts not only locals, but also guests. You can enjoy national music and cuisine. In summer it is cool, fun and interesting here
Labi Hovuz, Buxorodagi eng go’zal joylardan biri bo’lib, o’zining me’moriy chiroyiga qo’shimcha ravishda ko’plab afsonalarga ega. O’tgan asrlarda bu hovuz atrofida kafe va do’konlar bo’lib, sayyohlar va mahalliy aholi uchun ijtimoiy uchrashuv joyi hisoblangan. Hovuzning suvi zamon o‘tishi bilan aholi hayotida muhim o‘rin tutgan, ba’zan esa mashhur shoirlar va san’atkorlar ilhom manbai bo‘lgan.
It's just a miracle! Very atmospheric, very beautiful, very soulful! For those who want to change the situation and plunge headlong into the Arabian night - it's not better to come up with!
Architecture for connoisseurs is incomparable 👌 the complex is large, you have to go around from all sides, you also have to eat in the restaurant 😉 by the water, everything is beautiful, ducks swam. We really liked it, even the children, although we were at noon, in the hottest 40 degrees.
The Lyabi House ensemble is located on the central square of old Bukhara. Madrasahs and khanaka of Nadir Divan-Begi are grouped around a large artificial reservoir with a primitive pool, and Kukeldash madrasah is also located nearby. The concentration of several attractions, as well as the presence of a large number of restaurants in one place, next to a refreshing pond, makes this object very attractive. In the evening, music plays here, a lot of people gather. Very good and comfortable location. Definitely a recommended place to visit. It would be even better if there was a beautiful musical fountain on the pond
Bukhara and this architectural ensemble are a real oriental fairy tale. The original architecture and the restored monument combine antiquity and modernity.
I liked the architectural ensemble very much, we were in it in November 2023. It is located in the historical center of Bukhara, there is a pond nearby, many cafes and restaurants, an abundance of retail outlets.
A beautiful and historical place, a lot of people are all sincere and hospitable. And the Labi Hovuz restaurant cooks national dishes so deliciously and you can lick a stick
of course, it is worth adding this place to the list of visits. a majestic and beautiful building. inside there is a beautiful courtyard with benches where you can relax and enjoy the beauty.
