Excellent hotel for the price and quality. The room has a comfortable double bed, which is important for a good rest. New plumbing, a chic shower cabin with two watering cans, a new toilet and sink, a TV (there are Russian channels), a refrigerator, a closet with lots of hangers, a safe. The hotel has an elevator. The breakfasts are delicious according to the buffet system. Room cleaning. Linen change every other day. The staff is friendly, but they really don't speak much Russian. The location is quite good. Not the center, but not the outskirts either. The nearest Ganjlik metro station is 1.5 km away. 15-20 minutes at a leisurely pace. And there are 2-3 stations from the Ganjlik metro station to the center, depending on where you need to go. 3 stations if it is to the old town (Icheri Sheher station). If you want to explore the embankment, you can drive 2 stations (to Sahil station). Minor flaws: 1) the room was angular, the window seemed to be on the side of the room, the room was dark. But it was irrelevant to me, since I did not sit in the rooms from morning to evening on excursions; 2) you can hang a small lamp above the bedside table near the bed. I had to turn on the lights at full power, which made it uncomfortable for everyone in the morning; 3) there was no opportunity to eat at the hotel on the day of arrival. I arrived at 4 p.m. Then there was a walk around the city. I wanted to have dinner at the hotel in the evening, but the reception desk said that the room had a QR code for ordering room service. And they assured me that you can eat. I clicked through, and the link led to a page with a selection of food and a phone number for ordering in WhatsApp. Compose. In two languages - Russian and English. They didn't answer and didn't bring anything. I was too tired to go to the reception and find out. This is probably one of the disadvantages that I find unpleasant. Everything else is fine. I recommend the hotel to visit!
Overall a good hotel for a great price. I stayed there for 6 nights.
What you liked:polite staff, delicious and hearty breakfasts (for such a small hotel, they are very decent, the only coffee from the breakfast machine is made only for an additional fee). The room is warm, with a large shower and underfloor heating, a comfortable bed, and towels were cleaned and changed every day.
What I didn't like: at the entrance, I noticed that all the furniture was scratched and in some places it didn't look good. I also noticed that there was dust in some places.
We ended up in this wonderful hotel by chance, on the recommendation of friends. The location, service, cleanliness in public areas and the quality of cleaning in the rooms are on top! A separate pleasure is the presence of Russian-speaking staff at the reception, who are always ready to help with any issues! A good buffet in the morning is included in the room rate, and the opportunity to order restaurant food before 11 pm at reasonable prices makes it possible, if necessary, not to leave the room at all! The elevator, decorated with gold, marble steps - add wealth to this wonderful hotel! If you decide to visit hospitable Azerbaijan and stay in Baku, then the ideal choice is the Arium Hotel, the price per room in which pleasantly surprised us!
