This is one of the best hotels in Maafushi.But don't contact Andreano, he sells tours at ARENA TOURS. Promises a lot, but then you have to. He doesn't keep his word. It is better to buy from others and not think about the consequences...

On December 20, 2024, I'm having a rest at the Arena Hotel. I'll start with the bad news : there are no umbrellas on the beach - they say come back tomorrow :) and so it is every day . In total, my whole body was burned, my whole body was covered with pimples, my whole body itched and itched (although I was sprayed with protection factor 100, bought here in the Maldives), my whole lip was blown apart - solar herpes. As explained, the wind is outside and we don't put umbrellas on, it will blow away;)) you swim on the beach and a surfer cuts through the surfboard, and not at depth, it's scary to swim out of the water. It is impossible to swim without corals , there are rocks and corals in the sea . We bought coral in a store for 10 bucks . I advise you to take breakfast ( we took full board , it 's not expensive , they don't give water for lunch or dinner , they feed chicken) in a cafe - pizza 10 bucks ; soup 6-8 bucks , coffee 2-3 bucks , milkshake 5 bucks , juice 5 bucks , tuna 15-18 bucks , lobster 10 bucks 100 gr I went out for 50 bucks , a plate of frozen food for 35 bucks . It's tastier and there 's a lot of choice in the cafe..we had lunch and dinner at the cafe , despite the full board . And it 's also impossible to walk down the street , there are scooters everywhere . Excursions : turtles , fish , dolphins -30 bucks , for sharks 60 bucks , great whale shark 100 bucks . To the island resort for 1 day 125 bucks per person . This is not the first time in the Maldives, I liked Diffushi more . There is no place to walk , there is a secluded garden on the town hall, where there are many trees , hammocks , swings . Moreover , there is a cough with soft seats , there are no swings here , but there is a net swing . Many people choose this hotel to take photos from the pool overlooking the ocean - it is impossible to enter the pool, the water is icy. The beach strip is narrow , and there are no herons , as on all small divas . Difushi is also a local island , there is a heron and a swing in the ocean for photos and secluded places with swings and free Wi-Fi, there are fish in the sea and corals are unnecessary ! There are no fish on Maafushi, and there are rocks in the sea and it is very shallow

Nice, small hotel, clean. Rooms are cleaned every day. There is an unlimited amount of body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and liquid soap. You will also find a toothbrush, toothpaste and all sorts of little things. Every day 0.5 liters of water. You can change the beach towel at least several times a day. In general, you can fly light, only with hand luggage, without overpaying for luggage. The staff is very friendly, attentive to all requests and try to help. There is also a hairdryer in the room, an iron is provided on request. The beach is a stone's throw from the entrance. There are always enough sun beds for everyone, it's not a metal to get up early to take a seat. Delicious cocktails are offered on the beach. You can also have a snack. There is no alcohol on the island. There are a lot of souvenir shops. Cafes. We took only breakfast, as we went on excursions every day, had lunch there. In the evening we visited various bars and had dinner there.

We had an ocean view room on the 6th floor. The hotel is small, but with its own beach and sun loungers/towels. They rent a mask, fins, and vests for free. There is one Russian-speaking guide, we tried to contact him for help. Amateur food. The variety is questionable. For breakfast from the usual - fried eggs and bread, green vegetables, I do not advise you to take lunches and dinners (you can first look at them and buy them for $ 18). But there are a lot of cafes with delicious food nearby. You shouldn't count on groceries in the store either. There is no reef like this at the hotel (dead). Cleaning every day, towels and water were changed every day, there is a kettle in the room. But there is no corridor, that is, from the threshold you immediately enter the bedroom with a toilet (which is also in this room fenced off only by the glass door of the compartment). But the view from the balconies to the ocean is 10 out of 10, for which I turn a blind eye to all the shortcomings. One of the buildings has a rooftop pool. Sometimes on Fri and Saturdays the music is sooooo loud from the improvised stage on the beach of the hotel and there is no getting away from it) But you didn't come to the boarding house either. There are many tour desks nearby. We took some of the excursions not at the hotel, but through a Russian girl Marina (we found her in a TG chat) and they were cool and the staff was customer-oriented. And those that were bought at the hotel through a Russian-speaking guide differed greatly in service. And in addition, they wanted to cheat us for $ 40 for a photo and video shoot, although we had agreed on the cost earlier. But the husband is very stubborn and speaks English perfectly, insisted and did not fall for a divorce. I would like to note that the hotel guide Adrian gently "merged" during this situation and preferred to step back. The rest of the tourists who visited this tour overpaid after all. Keep in mind that the money for the failed tour will not be fully refunded to you either due to the weather. The tourists went away from the hotel the next day for an excursion in the rain and did not see either the declared manta rays or sharks. But they got their pennies back for taking a ride on a boat that didn't even land them in the ocean)

The guide for Russians- Adriano really helps with the exchange of dollars and excursions from him should be taken the cheapest on the island, he also made all sorts of presents for us, just well done!!! The best hotel on the island! I'm not too lazy to write a review, since I chose the hotel based on reviews! Location, price/quality ratio, service, varied food, as well as many cafes for every taste and hookah bars nearby. There are also very cool excursions from the hotel, they can make an excellent discount, and impressions for the year ahead, be sure to visit the excursions : diving with sharks / fishing / turtles / resort!!!! Oh, yes!!! There is also a panorama on the 10th floor and a pool on the 8th floor, views of the fire!!! I will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone!

Nice hotel in Maafushi (Maldives), 30-40 minutes by boat from Male. The hotel is located on the island's bikini beach. There is an Infinity pool on the roof of the hotel. The rooms are large enough, not cramped, a very big minus for people who take a lot of things, only one small locker. There are no bedside tables and no clothes dryers, they were dried either on the railing or on chairs all over. If you like to eat delicious food, then definitely not here, the food is terrible, only oranges and apples are made of fruits. The freshness of the towels leaves much to be desired. There are a huge number of crows on the island, which at least surprised us. The hotel is not worth the money, we will never come here again. The stench in the rooms is most likely the smell of the air conditioner. The air conditioner is constantly leaking, puddles on the floor are provided. The only thing that left a pleasant impression was the ocean and sand, but the hotel has nothing to do with this. The staff does not hide their emotions about the claims, they are reluctant to correct the shortcomings.

One of the best hotels on the local island. Great rooms, amazing breakfasts and dinners. There is always live music, discos and dancing. There are even movie screening nights. The staff is generally a separate conversation. People are so responsive, friendly and kind that I don't want to leave there. Russian Russian girl, who helps Russian tourists with solving various problems and questions, is a special thank you to the manager of Victoria. And also the staff is sure to congratulate you on your birthday by decorating the bed and preparing a cake if a birthday falls during your stay.

This vacation is the best I've ever had!!! This is a heavenly place, I recommend it for a vacation both by myself and with my family 100%. !!! We flew from St. Petersburg by Emirates (airlines). The ticket was bought on Anex tour. The girls docked everything very well. Because the flight was connecting in Dubai. We flew to Dubai on an airbus A380. We were fed, watered, and offered alcoholic beverages. Everything is very polite and dignified. Blankets, headphones, LCD screens on the back of the seat with all the information about the flight ((altitude, speed, etc.). A map of our current location is online. Everything is very cool. The flight lasted 5 hours. Your legs get a little numb, so take a place where you can stretch your legs. This is the 1st grade. We flew to Dubai, walked for an hour and began to look for our boarding gate. You need to go through passport and customs control everywhere. We timed it so that it would not be long to sit in Dubai, because we did not have covid certificates, and if you leave the airport, you can only go back with PCR. Where to do it, where to run to in an unfamiliar country.. Therefore, we decided not to walk, but also not to take risks. And they took it so that there were 2 hours between flights.
So, we checked in, boarded the plane. The Boeing 777 aircraft. It's also a big deal. Also Emirates. There was no second floor like on the airbus, but it was also huge. We flew for 5 hours. At the same height. Fed, blankets, headphones. Everything is decent. The pitchfork from the window is excellent. Amazing. We arrived. They came out...... Everything is different at once! Everything is not like ours! The air is like a hair dryer, the wind is strong and the ocean breeze is warm!!
We were greeted by a transfer with a Life sign. Here we hesitated a little and almost got scared. Because the Arena Hotel. And we were looking for the name of the Arena on the sign. But as we understood, the Arena is part of the Life hotel chain. Our transfer (the kid is a wonderful dark one), asked us to sit in the waiting area while he gathers everyone he has to deliver to this hotel. We sat for about 50 minutes. It wasn't hot, everything was open everywhere, I really wanted to sleep and I even fell asleep.
That's why they took us to the boat. Speedboat. Nice, comfortable, rather big. Our luggage was loaded from below next to the driver into a special compartment. Since I have never traveled on such boats, of course I was afraid. Despite the fact that the water was almost completely without a wave. It took us 40 minutes to get to Maafushi. Upon arrival, we were met at the pier by representatives of the hotel, took our suitcases from all of us (there were 15 or 12 of us), loaded them onto a tuk-tuk (a small open car), and we were led in single file.
Everything, absolutely everything is new!!!! All the paths are white sand, there is no asphalt or tiles. Nothing that would resemble civilization!!!
At the entrance to the hotel, we were bowed and handed hot wet towels and a cool watermelon drink to everyone.
Then we sat in the lobby for a while, our suitcase with our room number already glued on was kindly carried by a hotel employee directly to the room. When we entered the room, we were stunned!!!! It was huge, with an ocean view and 2 double beds for 2)))!!! It had both a bathroom and a shower cabin! It was as if it was designed for 4. They brought everything to us multiplied by 2. Floor-to-ceiling Windows, everything is gorgeous!!!
We took breakfasts and dinners. The buffet. They passed under a thatched roof on the street. It's all very epic!!! The line from the ocean shore is 0. Small white ships are running everywhere, live shells on legs. The water is very hot and azure. The service is great!!!! Everyone is insanely polite!!!
Maafushi is an island inhabited by the locals. The island can be bypassed in 15 minutes. It's tiny. There are shops and locals everywhere. They ride motorbikes.. Everyone, absolutely everyone, has them. There are no cars, but there are motorcycles!!!! We went on 3 field trips. Turtles, sharks and a resort. These are 3 separate stories, I will write about them in detail if you are interested!!!
I recommend this fabulous place to everyone!!!!!!!!!

We booked a room with a view of the city with a balcony.I got a room in an unfinished building with a view of another ruined building.The room is old, everything is everywhere, there is a hole in the headboard.I was upset and sent a request to Anex for a replacement hotel, which I promptly received a refusal within 2-3 days.
The room was cleaned daily, but as a mother of a one-year-old baby, I lacked the cleanliness of the floors.
Meal.The hotel operates on a breakfast+dinner system.And I'm glad that we didn't take dinners, you can eat better outside the hotel for the same money.Or buy it at the hotel for $ 12.But the food for dinner is not delicious.Incomprehensible salads, spicy chicken, bitter cucumbers and unleavened watermelon.Breakfasts are more normal-you can take an omelette, noodles or rice, sometimes there was chicken curry, pastries for tea.Oranges and apples are made from fruits.
The beach is not the same as from the Maldives travel guide.The sand is quite large interspersed with corals.
I had to constantly ask for beach towels.Either the employee is not in place, or the towels themselves are missing.

Maybe later?No later than 12. Okay, I said.At 8 so at 8. Then, in the evening, he calls me back (waking me and my child) and says that the transfer at 6:30 is only possible.I'm trying to argue that it's too early, 7 hours before departure.No, it's only at this time that he tells me.In depressed feelings, I get ready, get up at 6. At 6:10, a man comes for a suitcase.They give us 2 juices, fruits and bread.We leave on a speedboat together with tourists from the hotel, whose departure is at 9:45.And what is most interesting, we meet tourists from our hotel at the airport, a young couple who were picked up at 8. As they said, there was a place in the speedboat.Then, in correspondence with a representative of the hotel, they could not explain to me how this happened.I am preparing a claim for Anex tour and the hotel.

The hotel room is clean and nice enough.
