My favorite bathhouse in Kazakhstan, life hack-you buy services at the entrance for a certain amount (I don't remember what), and you have unlimited use of the bathhouse that day, and you don't have to pay for it. The last time I took a full range of spa services - Morocco, and no longer paid for the services of the bath itself. The kitchen is awesome, even there are their own tinctures. A variety of menus and a normal price tag. Another advantage, if you are a tourist in Almaty, then everything you need for a sauna can be bought / rented on the territory. I think it's unnecessary to write a lot about Arasan. This is undoubtedly the #1 bathhouse in Almaty. I do not know who their supplier of smoked fish is, but I know one thing - it is always the freshest and tastiest here. I would like to mention the USSR shish kebab separately. After the steam room and dry peeling, it is a real pleasure to taste this kebab. I definitely recommend Arasan to visit for those who have not been there yet.

My favorite is Turkish. You can choose a soufa according to the degree of "roasting". You can go from bath to bath - Finnish, Russian, Turkish.
When you leave, you get incredibly bored and the first thing you do is run from the plane here.
Even if you don't like to steam, you should just look into the hall - it's a masterpiece of architecture.
There is a little trick - to pay a certain amount for admission and for massage, washing or cosmetic services, and you can stay indefinitely without additional payment. Discounts for pensioners. Everything is clear and convenient on the site.
Masseuses are the best in the city, after them you are literally born again.
If you go with a company, it makes sense for the price to buy a numbered VIP bath on the ground floor. In one of them, the film "The Needle" was shot with Viktor Tsoi. Ask the staff, they will show you.
The cuisine is beyond praise, the prices are reasonable. Affordable prices for manicures, pedicures, brooms and other accessories.

The pool is highly chlorinated. There is no aesthetics in saunas, it is somehow not cozy. It is more pleasant to be in the saunas of Taup. But the general massage for 12,000 tenge was very well done, I'm ready to go again for it.

I did not like it: the steam supply did not work in the suite, after they told the staff they promised to resolve the issue, but in the next three hours of stay the issue was not resolved. At the exit, we were also accused of not repeatedly reporting the lack of water supply to the furnace. Strange attitude towards the guests. I came to relax, not to solve the issues of the institution.

After visiting Almaty, we also went to the Arasan baths. An interesting experience. Separately men and women. There is a Russian steam room and a hammam, and a Finnish sauna, and they are presented in a double copy! You can buy the services of a bath attendant, various massages, peels, etc. Then the stay in the bath becomes unlimited. I liked the Russian steam room more, and apparently, most of the visitors, since there are most people there. The pool surprised. For some reason, it is believed that it is more hygienic to swim naked. I thought it was the opposite. Well, I don't know, it's kind of awkward! The decoration is modest (we have seen baths and poroskoshnee). A great place to relax body and soul. I realized that pensioners have some free subscriptions, you can only envy! And for those who wish, there are luxury offices, but there is no such steam room as in the public department. I recommend you to visit!
