Despite the efforts of the administrators (Yana Anna-Thank you), the hotel is welcome to the Soviet village. There is no ventilation in the rooms to dry something hang on ropes on the territory.Breakfast is like in a hospital, some porridge on the water and tea. There is no coffee in principle.there is a kitchen by the pool with dishes and a kettle (to warm up the food, you must ask the administrator to open the dining room). You can always swim in the pool, but it is cleaned according to the principle of xs on 1 day (Sunday) it was clean then it was not cleaned for 5 days. There was no cleaning in the rooms (economy) for a week. Is an employee present?Irina embodies all the negativity that they write about (mate through the word familiarity rudeness) there is no cafe, there is a possibility to order by phone and cook a cook (kebab shawarma fries vegetables)The area of the TV tower is probably a backwater, although it is developing
The room is normal, the beach with umbrellas and sun beds at the Litfond hotel is free, but this is someone else's beach, they can drive.. Food for 500 rubles in the Literary Fund is decent, buffet. But the breakfast in Arabica itself is poor: porridge and tea with a bun
Hello, the location of the hotel is average, the shops are cheap closer to the gate, the one nearby is more expensive. We lived in economy rooms a disgusting room, smell, dampness, devastation, clean linen, old air conditioning (noisy) the word service here is a six-letter word and no more.
I returned from Abkhazia on 09/28/12. The weather was good, the sea was warm! Overall, it's not bad. The Arabica Hotel (a 5-minute drive from the center of Pitsunda) is simple and inexpensive, there is a swimming pool, sun beds, a bar with music, it is for those tourists who need the sea, walks and excursions, and not a huge territory, a buffet and high service! Everything was smooth arrival/departure, accommodation, meals and transfer!
Greetings To All. We had a rest in July 2022.
Positive:An ordinary guest house that you meet when you go long distances. Quietly, calmly. There is a swimming pool, the water is clean, they are monitored regularly without questions. They feed normally, without frills. Not a buffet!!!
Cons:It is located on the Pitsunda-Gagra highway, the traffic is specific, sometimes it is difficult to cross the road, traffic rules are not observed from the word at all. There is a constant smell of humidity in the room, no matter how you ventilate, there is a pond-swamp in some proximity. There is no place for drying clothes (equipped place) There is something resembling the word bar, it could work and bring a good income, but no!!!! Music until 22.00, even quiet!!! Sit at a table until 23.00
Generally:Probably 20 minutes to the sea, there is a shop on the way.
The guest house has 4 points out of 10.
We got here on one of the cheapest tours. I imagined it would be bad, but I didn't expect it to be this bad.
I'll start from the less to the more critical: there was practically nothing in the room: no cutlery, not even a spoon, no table, no chairs, no shower accessories (we bought soap and shampoo ourselves), only the shower itself and towels (which were never changed for 7 nights), toilet paper is the cheapest. Of the electronics, only a small refrigerator, a small but very noisy air conditioner built into the wall, because of the monotony of noise, it was possible to get used to it and a TV that we did not watch, instead we could buy all of the above in the room. The room itself smells strongly of dampness (especially when you enter the room after walking outside), in the corridor to the room, because of the dampness, there is a rotten floor under the linoleum, sealed with pressed cardboard. Because of the same dampness, the door to the room swelled and opened/it was closing with effort, the door to the shower/toilet did not close at all. The bed linen has never been changed for 7 nights. Breakfast is like a hospital.
And the cherry on the cake is the daily shutdown of water in the evenings, sometimes several times a day in the morning or afternoon. During the rest, we got poisoned and spent one night in close contact with the toilet without being able to flush its contents and without being able to wash in the sink, a dubious pleasure. It was terrible to come in the evening from the 30 degree heat after a whole day of festivities without the opportunity to take a shower.
Of the good things, it can only be noted that the cost and two single beds, or rather their mattresses and pleasant pillows, it was comfortable to sleep, but again, because the bed linen did not change, this plus is canceled. There is a swimming pool, which we have never used, but it will be a plus for someone.
The food is bad! For breakfast there is porridge and a bun, for dinner either the salad is too salty, or the meatballs are not divided with a fork.
The door to the room does not close (I had to lift the door, at the end of 7 days, it almost fell out of the grooves
The room is damp
Vacationers! Read the reviews! Where are you going
A normal guest house. We lived in a separate house. There is no connection, I had to go to the territory of the main building. But it's quiet, just like we wanted it to be.
The rooms are old, damp and not very clean. . The food is simple, monotonous. There is no service of any kind. No one cleans the rooms during your stay.
Everything is fine, the atmosphere is homely. He spent his childhood 35 years ago in Sukhumi and seemed to have returned. For those who want super service , etc. past the cash register . It's great for a man without show-offs! Regarding the above-mentioned impassability of the "highway" between the hotel and the sea, it's a lie, you cross the Road already running. Everything is fine, I recommend it for adequate people! Good luck to everyone!
It is better not to believe the pictures on the sites, but in general it will work. There is a swimming pool. As stated. The rooms are air-conditioned. The most important thing for a hot summer. The sea is a 10-15 minute walk along the road and through the territory of the Literary Fund. This is not Turkey or Egypt, the main thing is not to expect something like that
Everything is wonderful! It was in June and September 2022. The staff is good, kind! Thanks to the administrator Yana - I solved all the issues! And in general, she is a very kind and sympathetic person! The food was very tasty , the portions are just huge ! Thanks to the cook! 7 minutes to the sea, near the store. A quiet and peaceful holiday.
Greetings from Kazan)
We had a vacation with my husband in September 2022, and upon arrival we were immediately settled. The economy room, which is lined with clapboard, feels like a dressing room. The food is very meager, spicy with a lot of seasonings added. There are no vegetables, there is no question of fruits. They caught rotovirus, minus 2 days of rest. there were heavy rains, it was very cold in the evenings after 18.00, they put on jackets. In the end, when the stomach was finally planted, we tried to eat in a cafe, but the food there is no better. We swam in the sea 1 time, as it was raining. There is no place to dry clothes in the room. High humidity, this causes dampness and the smell does not fade. On the way to the sea, in a cafe, be ready to step on a big flatbread like a cow. Cows are everywhere, horses are grazing. The pool is not heated and dirty.
I do not advise anyone to rest there, the room is dirty, the bed has not been changed for 8 days, there is nothing in the bathroom, the air conditioner works like a tractor, the food is sick, it is near the road, noise, people walk and make noise all night, not rest,
Yesterday, July 11th, we returned home. thank god! There has not been a worse "vacation" in my life since Soviet times. I will not list all the "advantages" of this, if I may name it, hotel, I have already been described by other users. I'll add about the food: the cook cooked quite tasty, but it seemed that she used to work in kindergarten: the portions were kindergarten. As an example, dinners that were served on small children's plates: a chicken foot, or a small stuffed pepper (one), next to a plate of 150 grams of side dish - rice, buckwheat, a couple of slices of cucumber and a tomato on the side. Everything. And tea. For those who want to lose weight, this diet is suitable. But it was a pity for men who swallowed such a dinner in two seconds and looked with hungry eyes. As a result, many people came with their own products. However, another thought arises: it was not the kindergarten experience of the cook that was the reason, but the fact that the owners bought food for 30 people, and fed them 50. And the range of products is also extremely limited: something that is cheaper. No cheese, cottage cheese, sausage, fruit. I would like to note a plus: I caught the Internet well. Of course: " the hotel is located directly near the tower. Let's not talk about the dangers of radiation: after all, it is unlikely that in 10 to 12 days you will receive significant harm to your health. Nevertheless, the choice of a place for a wellness holiday is questionable. As well as the location right next to the motorway with cars rushing at good speed. So, the round-the-clock hum of cars completely replaces the noise of the sea, to which, by the way, you have to wander along the path with cow cakes (for some reason cows roam freely by themselves everywhere, as in India) along this highway, catching the moment when you can run across it. And the beach - it is in other people's sanatoriums. They are allowed there, although signs that the beach is only for guests of the sanatorium are hanging. If anyone wants to feel like a beggar in the good prince's home, then please. However, as they say, there were cases when the guards drove away strangers. We were not chased away once, so we behaved modestly, "did not stick out" and did not encroach on the owner's sun beds, even if there were plenty of free ones.In general, for fans of extreme sports, the Arabica hotel is a suitable place (just do not confuse it with the Arbika hotel, this is a different place)
I really liked it, the staff is Wonderful, the food is delicious from natural products, the pool is heated and illuminated. The sea is 300-350 meters away. Quietly calmly, at home.
Complete horror ! The smell in the rooms is terrible! The shower is not working. Everything is dirty and raw ! The rest is ruined . They refuse to change the room even with an additional payment ! The dampness is terrible! There is nowhere to dry the laundry . There are mattresses in the room instead of a bed! Unsanitary conditions !
We lived in July 2022, all the previously described reviews are true. The hotel is bad, the food is terrible, no vegetables, no fruits, even the simplest greens of dill or parsley have not been seen. Of the drinks, only tea, coffee is already for the money. Elementary , there is no boiling water , only when the dining room is open.. the rooms stink of mold, no cleaning is done.the attitude towards people is disgusting, we are only money for them. In general, the attitude towards us is bad almost everywhere, aggression is rushing out of them, as from those who conducted excursions, they need you to buy honey from them at crazy prices, also with wine of incomprehensible quality. Before you are taken on an excursion, they will take you to a cafe so that you can eat, they have everything captured. The prices in a cafe - eatery are like an expensive restaurant, and the food is like in a cheap canteen.
I did not like the hotel, the rooms do not match the photo, when choosing, the furniture is all old, the smell of old age and dampness is present, the floors in the rooms are not washed, because the floors are nailed to the floors for 70 years, the doors to the shower do not close, they swell when it rains, they turn off the light and water, the linen does not change I wouldn't go there anymore. Who rested in this hotel did not like it.
Unfortunately, it turned out that all the other hotels were occupied and the tour operator confirmed the tour only to this hotel. We drove without illusions about the quality of service, because we have already read the reviews. We hoped for the best. Alas, all the negative reviews turned out to be true. So: we had 3 economy rooms. In the first - the finish is hardboard lining with painting (as in Soviet camp sites) - everything is worn out, shabby + the toilet door does not close at all (not with a lock, but simply not to cover) (No. 221), in the second room (No. 223) for 10 days it smelled so strongly of the fan pipe from the toilet - that all the things in the room smelled of excrement. In the third room (No. 225) there was a hole in the floor at the entrance (about 30 cm), on top of which a carpet was laid - every time you enter, you fall, and the ceiling flowed from the rains + the floor got wet (the room is angular, there is a defect in the wall somewhere) - about 1/3 of the room had a thoroughly wet carpet.
All rooms are terribly damp, the TV did not work, THERE was NEVER a cleaning / linen change/ garbage removal.
By the way, all economy rooms have no balconies and no facilities for drying towels/swimsuits...
This is by the numbers.
Now the hotel itself - there is no reception desk, there is one administrator - run and look for him all over the hotel... practically no issue is solved. WiFi is only on the street. The staff is rude, pokes, grabs by the hand, harasses, sometimes rude.
Meals - we had breakfast and dinner.... so it's poorer than in the hospital for compulsory medical insurance. A specific menu for one day: breakfast - oatmeal porridge, butter, bread, tea, coffee, milk, cheesecake, dinner - pearl barley with two minicusks of meat, tea. Portions are like in kindergarten. That's all! Palm oil, most of the pastries are inedible, the milk is diluted so that apart from the color, there is no taste or smell of milk ((( And the service - get this yummy yourself at the distribution and then clean up after yourself.
By sea - there are several options:1 - you walk along a path through thickets of blackberries and grazing cows to a wild beach - 7 minutes (there is a lot of garbage along the way and there is no service, but you are alone on the coast); 2 - to the right of the hotel for 20 minutes - Boxwood Grove hotel - there you can lie on sun beds, and change clothes, and a cocktail to buy, but there are a lot of people, the beach is so-so. 3- to the left of the Arabica Hotel, a 10-minute walk from the Litfond Hotel. There are changing booths, showers. If you take a sunbed, be prepared that you, like a homeless dog, will be driven, because the amount of rudeness from the security of this hotel is unlimited.
A digestible option is to take a minibus /taxi from the hotel towards Pitsunda to the beach of the Fish Factory. There is sand and pebbles, mountains nearby, there are all amenities and where to eat.
See for yourself, but in the opinion of our 3 families who "rested" in this hotel - such places do not have the right to work and provide such low-quality services.
The price of the tour per person for 10 days was 30 rubles. Also, be prepared to leave about the same amount for meals and excursions.

Disgusting, we lived in the standard room, first on the ground floor, although the room was paid for on the second floor, but upon arrival on the second floor the standard rooms were occupied. On the ground floor, the smell of sweat in the room is ingrained in the armchair, humidity, towels are always damp and do not dry out, and there are no balconies, so you can't hang them outside. There is a TV, but it works via wi-fi, which does not take on the ground floor, so it is impossible to watch TV. An old shabby wardrobe, there are no accessories in the bathroom, there is also no hair dryer, although it is indicated that it is in the standard. So on the ground floor without a smartphone, it works more or less on wi-fi, there is nothing to do. On the second floor it is a little better, the TV is working, the Internet via wi-fi is stable, but on the ceiling, which is stretched, all kinds of animals flew through the crack from the street and all the time, at night too, they are always burning, beating and it is very audible. And most importantly, in general, the lights are always turned off at night, the linen is changed only once every 5 days, the towel is changed on demand, during the stay and during the day the electricity was also turned off, respectively, there was no hot water and Internet, then there was just no hot water, although there was electricity in the room. But the beach is 600 m from the hotel, this earned it 2 stars.
NO WAY!!!! HORROR!!!
Dear tourists! Please read this review carefully! If you have chosen the Arabica Hotel, be prepared for the fact that during your stay here, you will be treated like CATTLE. Because the hotel staff is sure that the people who come here are nothing but cattle. So, 1. Dining room – here a true habalka will "feed" you with slops, piling piggy into plates will yell "thank you for cooking for you in such heat", will send you far away at any request. There are no dishes from the word at all and you will have to fight for any spoon, napkin or cup. 2. Room – (by coincidence, we had an economy room) this is 10 sq.m. on which you can not turn around, the floors are soaked through with dampness, mold is under the coating, the stink of the fan is to such an extent that we threw away everything at home that stood and stank in the bathroom, the air conditioner is an antediluvian box that rattles with such force that not only at night, but also during the day it does not It gives you peace. In the rain, water will pour from the ceiling, if you're lucky, then not on your head. The TV doesn't work at all. (a question to the owner – why did you hang them in the rooms???), the guests dry towels on them. Beds with protruding springs, dirty linen, smelly towels are the best addition to the room to emphasize that these conditions are for livestock, not for vacationers. 3. Staff – everyone from the manager to the cleaner considers visitors cattle – no requests will be heard, they have not heard about cleaning rooms and changing towels here, they will answer the request to give toilet paper to you – "I already gave you", communication on "you" is familiar to them. They interfere in the conversations of the guests, grab their hands, behave fraternally. 4. The beach – the hotel does not have it. A wild beach 800 meters across a polluted field is occupied by cows, mud and stench everywhere. From the sunbeds of the beach of the pension "Litfond" you will be thrown out like cattle loudly and in disgrace, get out, lie in cow shit and get away from here. You cannot enter the sea without special shoes, rocks and waves - injury is guaranteed. 5. Leisure is not there. The music at the bar is the only thing that will entertain you here. Beer at 100 rubles for a dirty glass, shish kebab to order of dubious quality – that's all. The bartender can barely stand on his feet, drinks with the guests to unconsciousness. 6. The location is remote. There are no shops or civilization here. It is impossible to reach any object of civilization – the path along the road is littered with cows, it is dangerous to walk along the side of the road, cars are rushing 120 km/h. The only way to get there is by taxi.
And in conclusion, we ended up in this hotel completely by accident, there was no goal to save on vacation, because we paid very expensive for the ticket. But, in this situation of restrictions, for various reasons, the choice was made on Abkhazia. At that time there was a huge flow of tourists and there was not much to choose from. Every day we saw people who drive into this dump, crying, brawling, indignant…But it's no use… We kindly ask tourists to stop "feeding" such hotel owners!!! This place doesn't even deserve 0.1 stars! Remember, once you are at the Arabica hotel for your own money, you will be a cattle that must stand in a stall and endure the bullying of the "owner", who considers the conditions of his hotel human. Do you need it? NEVER book this hotel, perhaps only then the owners will understand that they need to change the approach to the tourist and consider us not cattle, but dear guests who have come on vacation!
