We have been vacationing at the Aquamarine Resort in Alakol for several years, and we are always very satisfied! The convenient location of the base, the first coastline, a well-guarded territory and a car park create excellent conditions for recreation.Dmitry , a very charismatic and responsive security guard, meets you right at the entrance.At the reception and in general on the territory, the staff is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions, there is a luggage storage, which is convenient for those who arrived early to leave their things and go to the beach.From the pier they take you to the spit on a comfortable ferry there and back in just a couple of minutes, the beach is well-groomed, they even thought out a path from the ferry to the shore, there are sun loungers with a canopy on the beach, there is a sauna, you can order a barbecue and a cocktail, as well as lifeguards on duty (which is not a little important)On the territory there are cozy, clean houses with all necessary accessories, each house has its own veranda and a table, comfortable beds with snow-white linen and towels in the room, as well as beach towels that were not previously found at other recreation centers, even such a detail when vacationers dry their beach towels on the verandas, it looks very neat and beautiful, everyone has the same turquoise color of towels hanging against the background of white houses👍 There are also various activities for the whole family on the territory, which made our vacation even more intense and interesting.Three swimming pools, one indoor in case of bad weather, very clean and comfortable warm water, a sauna and a photo barrel, an observatory where children are engaged absolutely free of charge, you can look through a telescope at the sun in the afternoon and in the evening see Saturn, an open-air cinema, sports grounds and a disco bar, as well as a medical office, coffee shop , pancake house there you can also order pizza , barbecue, dining room with a large selection of dishes, a menu with prices is posted every day (but not everyone notices it) there are even fruits, yoghurts, very tasty various pastries, you can even order a cake for a birthday 👍

They were at the end of June 2024. I liked everything very much. Excellent food in the dining room is a pleasant assortment of dishes. The rooms are spacious and clean with a veranda. The ferry often carries you to and from the spit in compliance with all safety measures. I appreciated that before the storm, all guests are warned and asked to leave the beach. The observatory left an unforgettable impression. I recommend this hotel to visit.

The staff is very pleasant, the service is excellent. Delicious food, an accessible observatory. During the day there is a club for children, in the evening you can look at the stars. 3 swimming pools on site (clean, there is always a lifeguard nearby)
They also arrange movie viewing in the evening. We have been working for 2 years in a row and we are planning for the next year. I really like it so far

The area is really great. Beautiful, large and well-maintained territory. The food in the dining room is not very tasty. There is a pancake house, a swimming pool on site. The cabins have a kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave. Cleaning on request, not by default. Unfortunately, in the club for children, those activities and clubs that are announced are not held. Many times we came up with the children, both in the afternoon and in the evening, all the time is closed.

We came here for the first time and did not regret it at all. The area is incredible, everything is green, cozy and comfortable. Everything is within walking distance. I can't say anything about the kitchen, we cooked it ourselves. The rooms are clean. What really surprised the staff. They were so kind, they were always ready to help us. excellent security, you didn't have to worry about the car at all, luggage delivery straight to the house is very convenient. Excellent resort, the territory is one of the most well-groomed, lawn, trees, flowers.
The staff is great - cleaning the houses daily, changing towels every 3 days. There are swimming pools, a sauna, an open-air cinema, an observatory on the territory. TV and Internet work perfectly, the kitchen is good, but not cheap, but this is understandable, since prices are ± the same everywhere in the district.
In total, we will come again.

One of the good ones. For family holidays. Large territory, swimming pool, sauna, Playground, children's pool. We had a rest for 4 seasons, the end of July and the beginning of August. We took a cottage. The food is varied. The staff service is excellent. The beach on the spit is delivered by ferry, 100m to the ferry in 5 minutes by ferry and 200 meters across the spit on a wooden deck. There are bananas, cheesecakes, jet skis, and fishing on the beach.

One of the best recreation centers in Alakol. The territory is very well maintained. Food in the price-quality ratio for a solid five!
There are a couple of points, of course, that I would like to be corrected.
The rooms are not clean enough, there are cobwebs on the ceilings, dirt and dust on the baseboards in the corners.
Requires minor plumbing repairs.
But in general, the recreation center leaves a very pleasant impression!

BUT: we were traveling tired from a business trip, when checking in in the evening, we specified the departure time, said at 12.00, in fact, at 9.00 we started knocking on the door and demanding to leave. Of course, I understand everything, they have their own rules, but we specifically clarified, to put it mildly, it was unpleasant and having visited different places and countries, I did not meet such an early departure.
The second point: when booking through Booking, it was indicated that breakfast was included, but at the reception they made round eyes and said that, in principle, breakfast was never included.
All this is nonsense, of course, but it's a shame that I'm deceiving people, or not competent employees.
Well, the food: shish kebab is certainly nothing, but with such service and exterior decoration, the price is 3,200 tenge per lamb skewer, of course, too much, the price of a good Almaty restaurant

There are a lot of advantages. We had an excellent rest. The cabins are clean, fresh, and the bed linen is better than in 5* hotels. The territory is clean and green. The observatory! It's free! The children saw Saturn for the first time through a telescope. The pools are clean, the water temperature is ideal. Responsive staff. Sauna, massage, phyto- and infrared barrels (tested👍) The only negative, but it is not strong, is nutrition. If you rest for more than a week, it gets boring. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place. Well, undoubtedly the healing, velvety water of Alakol eclipses both the Black Sea and Issyk-Kul, just the pearl of Kazakhstan! All allergies are gone, all rashes, the skin is like after a luxury spa.

The rooms are good, the service is also clean, there is an open-air cinema for children, a swimming pool, but the water temperature in the children's pool could have been higher, the water was cool enough. There are baths, phyto barrels, it was a great massage, thanks a lot to the masseur Akikat. Of the minuses, the beach is far away, even taking into account the ferry, the beach is pebbly, steep, there were waves, the water is cold because of the waves. Also, food in the dining room for breakfast is more or less possible to eat, but lunch and dinner were not possible to eat there, they ate in a bar or in a pancake house, shish kebab in a kebab shop is not very good. The prices of alcohol and cigarettes are frantic, almost 3 times inflated. There is a disco and karaoke in the common room, but almost no one goes there. There is practically no other entertainment, my husband and I were bored because we are very active tourists and we are bored just lying on the beach all day. And there's not much else to do there.

Food on the territory of the base: there is a dining room in which prices are clearly too high and the taste leaves much to be desired, but tolerable. There is a cafe, I ordered a barbecue there, the pieces are small, the taste is disgusting, it is not possible and expensive!

There is an eternal strain with food, and there you can eat like going to a restaurant, if the whole family of 4 people, at least you get breakfast 4-6 thousand lunch dinner 10-15 thousand. The rooms are good. But there is a problem with check-in and check-out all the time, like the international standard check-in at 12 check-out at 9. And it is not possible to extend your stay in the room for half a day. More precisely, it is possible, but we have been four times and more than once failed to do it because it cannot be done in advance, and there are no places on a day-to-day basis. And every time we wander with small children under the sun until evening or lunch, all transport is only in the evening.

I was especially pleased with the attentive cleaning - the houses were always clean and tidy. The kebab we tried is good! And the pools also deserve a special mention - they are cool and well maintained.

The food is standard, without frills, constantly meat, chicken, fish, vegetables in different versions. Its own, more or less gentrified beach, staff are on duty (lifeguards are possible), there are always guards at the exits.
-the prices in the dining room are too high (for 1 adult about 5000 tenge per meal), it is very problematic to get to the beach, the spit has become wider, it takes about 10 minutes to walk, and with children and a stroller, for example, it is 2 times longer and harder. The platform is only 1/3 of the way, further along the hot pebbles and sand.Only large garbage is removed, wrappers, papers, cigarette butts and small leftovers are lying around and under each sunbed. This time there are a lot of mosquitoes and midges...On the territory of the zone, guests ride electric scooters, it is very dangerous, especially in the evening. It seems to me that in such a place this transport should be prohibited. I also didn't like that adults are having fun in the children's pool (without children) and kids are allowed to be naked in the water (not quite aesthetically pleasing and hygienic).

The food is monotonous and very expensive. It took from 12 to 15 thousand a day for me and the child. However, we did not deny ourselves anything. I would like to have a large store on site. I had to go to the village. The staff is great, very friendly. Now the cons. There was no children's animation at all. We went to entertain the child at a nearby boarding house. And the most important and terrible thing is the beach. It is very small, fenced in the water by only two meters. There is nowhere to swim at all. For such a crowd, it's just terrible. The sun beds are close together, people are sitting right on each other's heads. And the worst thing is that the boats have set up parking right next to the beach. They ride in a two-meter proximity. We came to recover and breathe fresh air, but we breathed gasoline and swam in a dirty puddle. Then they decided to go further away, to wild beaches. But this does not solve the problem with boats. They should be banned altogether. They run at breakneck speed dangerously close to people. And when we made a remark to them, she laughed in their face - they say you won't do anything.

There is nothing to compare with accommodation in Akshi, but everything has been done here as much as possible for vacationers: although the dishes do not change much, but the choice is large. Swimming pool for children and adults, cozy houses.

One star for a large, well-maintained area and a normal bed with bed linen.
The food and service is just some kind of nightmare.
There is food in the dining room as a good restaurant in Almaty. In fact, these are dried cucumbers, obsolete tomatoes. All in a huge amount of pepper and oil. If you don't come at the beginning of the meal, there's nothing left.
The kebab shop is generally atas. They will require payment before the order is taken out. And as soon as they take it out, it's just fat and bones. Fortunately, at least they don't start arguing when you ask for a replacement.
The service is listed as unobtrusive. So it just doesn't exist. Everyone's faces look like you've personally ruined everything for them in this heavenly place. Any request at the reception, PAY EXTRA! If you want another blanket, go yourself, pay yourself. It's dirty. Very. There is no cleaning. It's leaking from under the plumbing. The water in the pool with muddy white pieces of mud. I didn't dare go in there.
They do not seek to work, but everywhere they demand 10% for service. In short, shame.

I booked a room at the booking without prepayment and indication of the card, but a message arrived in my personal account that I had to pay half at once.
Rare advantages: Transfer from the train station. Clean, well-maintained territory. A pleasant hotel room. The bar is the only place among the whole complex where there was at least a hint of service.
Cons: The staff is not interested in working with the guest: they are reluctant to talk, they constantly ask to pay everything in advance before providing the service. Tactless work on the road - the employee stood over his soul, waited until we were ready, asked to enter the room and began to turn over the blankets and check the room for missing and damaged.
The food quality is terrible: dried cucumbers, rotten tomatoes. In general, an ordinary canteen. Kebabs with bones or fat instead of meat. Food prices are high, there are no alternatives outside the hotel.
They promised free Wi-Fi, but it didn't work in the rooms.
The quality of tourists matches the service and the quality of services.
I consider my vacation here a failure. Not only because of unreasonable prices, but also because of the attitude. If you are a person who values your vacation, money and time, and you have critical thinking, then I strongly advise you not to go here. The attitude towards the guests is disgusting, the contingent of tourists corresponds to a low level of service. Unfortunately, this hotel is the only one of its kind on the coast of Alakol, but this does not mean at all that it is good.
