The rooms are renovated. The food leaves much to be desired. In the Apsna building, the senior administrator behaved arrogantly. Stating that every second of the vacationers is inadequate. The rooms are clean. The location is convenient, the sea is 100m away.
The beach is unkempt. Packs of stray dogs, and their waste products.
In the photo, one of these "cute" dogs. When such a "sweetheart" lies down on your couch, or next to it, you feel uncomfortable, to put it mildly.

Rooms are better than 3-bed rooms, the 3rd place is kind of secluded. 2-bed is a 1-bed room with 2 beds. The beds are new, as well as other furniture, comfortable mattresses. There are power outages (throughout Abkhazia), so I had to walk up and down from the 8th floor. The elevator is also breaking down, people were stuck. Carpet, comfortable to walk barefoot, air conditioning.

The rooms are cozy and spacious, there is everything you need, but due to the recent renovation, it smells like new furniture. There are not enough mosquito nets on the windows. Some of the windows overlook the road, local horsemen like to drive with loud music. The building is located two steps from the "divers" and the embankment.
On the 8th floor there is a magnificent maid Tatiana!
The buffet is frustrating, because from meat only offal and chicken ridges, salads from carrots, beets and cabbage, from drinks only tea and compote, compote only at lunch..

We had a rest in July 2021. Very convenient location of the building, 2 minutes walk to the sea. We lived in a renovated room on the 12th floor. The room is great, everything is brand new, air conditioning, refrigerator, everything is in a bundle. The only thing missing was the kettle in the room. Therefore, take it with you, since I went broke buying coffee😅there was only a minus that repairs were being done on the 13th floor and these dreels could start and end whenever you like 😒 even from 7 a.m. to 23.00. and we were also very impressed by the lamp in the room for movement 🤦 the first night we had fun As You could have moved your finger, it lights up, scratched your leg, it lights up. I had to seal it up, and after a few days it was finally turned off. The TV in the room is hung up and looks just at nothing, or rather into the corridor. That is, no one came up with the idea to buy a bracket that is rotated. In short, look as you want. About the food: despite the fact that the buffet is not very good and the food is the same every day. They brought a bunch of new sunbeds with us. The sea is clean, the beach is clean too. And this building is located in a bay, there are no waves, it is very convenient when you are relaxing with a child. The staff is very kind, friendly, helpful. Well, as it is, they are doing well, developing, making repairs, buying new things and updating everything. You can take bicycles for a ride from the building, 100 rubles per hour, it's a penny. Parking is right next to the building, video surveillance is conducted, a pass is given and you can leave and enter at any time. Children have fun at the dining room in the evening. I would like to wish them to continue in the same spirit. We were in Abkhazia for the first time in general, the nature and climate simply cannot be described in words of all the beauty.... It's just tin. Repairs have not been done since the USSR. Prices are hitting like in Sochi and even higher. There is no service. There is no improvement. The toilet on the beach is only in a cafe, paid and as terrible as the hotel, but there are no seats available!!!!

We haven't been to Abkhazia for 13 years. A lot has changed. Firstly, the country itself, the mentality, the attitude towards tourists, the service. Last time, the vineyards and greenhouses were abandoned, there was garbage all around. Now everything is clean and well maintained. The building, we were the first guests after the renovation. It is no different from Turkey, even better. There were a lot of towels when they were changed according to the schedule, some had not yet been used. The maid Tatiana is just super. From morning to evening, I constantly cleaned either the rooms or the corridor. In the dining room we had 3 meals a day, a buffet. The assortment is certainly not in Turkey, where everything is included, the food is not whimsical. But it is cooked very tasty and satisfying, just like at home. The waiters are bustling with might and main, there have never been empty dishes at the distribution, considering that people go to this dining room to eat from other buildings. Our building was far from the sea, if compared with other buildings (as much as 170 meters from the sea), but this is a plus. There are fewer people on the beach and on the embankment than in front of other buildings. On the embankment and throughout the complex, they are constantly being cleaned, although their brooms are homemade, some branches are tied to a stick and swept. Cheap, angry and clean. After the first visit to Abkhazia 13 years ago, we visited many places. We drove all our coast from Crimea to Adler in a few years. We have been abroad many times. But Abkhazia is really a "Country of the soul". We were in the car again, drove up and down. Even the children, they are of quite different ages, both a student and a schoolboy, unanimously claim that Abkhazia is better than Turkey. In Turkey there is a room, a dining room, a swimming pool and a beach. Well, we went to the hammam out of boredom, well, we went to dress up in LC WAIKIKI and that's it. So next year we are planning only here. I would like to go to the eastern part of Abkhazia, this time it did not work out, it takes 3 hours to go there from Pitsunda. So we are tuning in with the whole family and I advise you.

The only advantage of this hotel is the renovated rooms. For a holiday by the sea, this hotel is suitable for you if you like to lie in the sun or do not go to the beach at all.

After going to Abkhazia, we did not book accommodation in advance and almost left with our noses, everything is occupied, there are a million people, how many streets we ran in search of a room and found nothing, we were already desperate, but we went to the Apsny hotel and rented a room on the 11th floor there. New renovation, carpet in the hallway, good furniture in the rooms, TV, small refrigerator, soap and hairdryer in the bathroom. The plumbing is modern, there is a card instead of keys for the doors, it is very convenient. We took accommodation only, but it is possible with meals. It takes about three minutes to walk to the sea, the sea is clean and warm. Parking for cars is large, it costs only 50 rubles per day, you pay at the entrance to the checkpoint.
