We went on a two day trip. Everything was well planned. We saw all we wished for and we didn't have to rush. The hotel he booked for us was really good with wonderful view.
He alsow has a very good retaurant La Kurumba, where we ate the best fish.
I really reccommend our guide Dinesh for any Sri Lankan adventure.

The guys working here are just incredible — so kind and helpful! Each of our visits was filled with positivity and warmth. ❤️
The food is just insanely delicious! All dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, and you can feel it from the first bite.
And then, at night, we made a bonfire and danced on the sand next to the ocean. 🌊🔥
We laughed, sang and enjoyed every moment.
We miss you already😢

Hello everyone. We had a rest with a friend from 31.01.2025 to 09.02.2025 Ambalangoda Sri Lanka. We just got home and I want to leave a review right away. It's a heavenly place, a gorgeous beach, and an incredibly beautiful ocean. We had lunch and dinner at La Curumba cafe. Very tasty seafood, everything we tried was very tasty.
Decent, magnificent, friendly, hospitable, attentive people work here. We are very grateful to the guys who work there, they will always greet you with a smile, take a sunbed under a palm tree, treat you with coconut or cut you some fruit. There is an excellent guide there.
Dinesh, who became our friend, we felt safe with him. With him, he exchanged money at a favorable rate and bought fruit, gifts and alcohol, and also took us on several individual excursions. We swam and fed the turtles, saw several waterfalls, and took a walk in the Gala. We went on an individual two-day excursion with him, immediately saw all the sights of Sri Lanka. We rode the train, took long-awaited photos) He took pictures of us everywhere, told us where to stand, and chose the best locations. Then we saw a nine-arch bridge and a train rushing past. It was unforgettable and breathtaking. Photos with elephants, a walk to the waterfall, monkeys were fed and watered several times. Then Adam's peak was taken everywhere by tuk tuk) after that we went to a nice hotel with a view of the mountains and a waterfall, delicious dinner and breakfast were included. Our trip was in a comfortable minibus with a good driver, where you need to stop and drive confidently without any problems. An old English post office, a tea factory, and learn how the famous Ceylon tea is made. Next, we went to the Ambuluwawa Tower and took a bunch of photos there. And although it was difficult to climb Pidurangala rock, we did it, on a mountain where Sigiriya is visible and just magnificent views. We are very happy with our trip! We will definitely come here again and it is through Dinesh. We miss you very much. This is a well-balanced route. See you soon.

Good day! My husband and I vacationed in Sri Lanka from December 1 to December 10, 2024, in Ambalangoda. We met Denish. A great guy, speaks Russian well. He organized a two-day tour for us. We visited tea plantations, a tea processing factory, a waterfall, a nine-arch bridge, rode the train, climbed the tower, walked through the botanical garden. We spent the night in a luxury hotel overlooking the mountains and the waterfall. Denish took us by tuk-tuk to Hikkaduwa, to feed the turtles, rode a boat on the river between the mangroves, visited the temple complex. Any of our wishes were fulfilled quickly!We recommend it!

A family of 6 people vacationed at the end of October 2024 at the Villa la Curumba Ambalangoda Sri Lanka Hotel. This is a very cozy hotel, with a heavenly view of the sea and a beautiful beach, delicious seafood at La Curumba cafe. Very friendly, hospitable, attentive people work here. We are very grateful to everyone who made our vacation so cool and unforgettable. We would also like to thank our wonderful guide Dinesh, who organized very interesting excursions to the turtle farm, waterfalls, safaris along the Madu and Bentota rivers, elephant riding, a walk to the waterfall through the jungle with monkeys, visits to Hikkaduwa beach with turtle feeding. It is very convenient to travel by Tuk-tuk or minibus. We are very happy with our trip!
Our family of six stayed at Villa la Curumba Ambalangoda Sri Lanka at the end of October 2024. It is very cosy small hotel with marvelous seaview and beautiful beach,
delicious food at the La curumba cafe. Very attentive, polite and hospitable people work here. We are very thankful to everyone, you made our vacation really comfortable and unforgettable. Our guide Dinesh is an amazing person, kind to everyone, always positive and active. He organised the best excursion for us: Madu river safari, turtle farm, waterfall, elephant riding, Bentota river safari, Buddha temples, Hikkaduwa beach. Kids really appreciated jungle monkeys and river crocodiles, sea turtles feeding. Transfer was by Tuk-Tuk or minibus. We are very pleased with our trip!

This was our first time in Sri Lanka. I chose a place, of course, I looked at the reviews. My husband and I were staying at the J Hotel, so I already knew what we were going to eat at LaKurumba. There are few good food options in this Ambalangoda place. We are quite fastidious in food, and therefore we were pleasantly surprised by the service, the serving of dishes, the cooking is not spicy, delicious, the products are fresh, the seafood is excellent. I must say right away: this is a beach cafe, do not expect white tablecloths and service, as in a gourmet restaurant. The guys are trying very hard, it's really important to them that the guests are satisfied. What's important to me is an unobtrusive service, I really don't like it when people try to sell you something right off the bat. There's no such thing, they fed you first. And then we asked about the guided tours. Denish is well done! He tries to speak Russian, and understands it very well. We went to see turtles with him, went for a walk in the Gala, stopped by Hikkaduwa for fruit- there is more choice there. The route was agreed in advance, so we liked everything!

We visited the J.Hotel in Ambalangoda, on the outskirts of Hikkaduwa, (15 km to the center of Hikkaduwa) in February 2025. The hotel is on the first coastline, we took a room with an ocean view and did not regret paying extra for this room, it's worth it.
Lakurumba cafe is located not far from the hotel, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, we had 1 serving for two.Russian Russians also met Dinesh (Denis is his name), who works in a cafe, also conducts excursions, he previously worked on Anex tour, is a good guy, speaks and understands Russian well, is not intrusive. We took excursions from him: to Ella, Galle Fort, the turtle farm, went shopping with him many times to Hikkaduwa itself, to the fruit market, and also helped us buy a SIM card with a favorable tariff.
It so happened that once we went with another person, he doesn't speak Russian at all and didn't understand us well, and we regretted it.
So if you go there, we recommend Denis and Lacurumba cafe, you definitely won't regret it.

It was our best vacation ever. My daughter and I are just delighted. Sri Lanka just conquered. Its beauty, nature, people. Everyone is very friendly. Special thanks to Denish. Very sensitive, attentive, punctual (unlike us. We had to wait for us. Even then he didn't say a word). Always polite, attentive. Sociable. A very good man, rest played with other colors, after meeting Denis, the tour is understandable,everything is interesting,but Denis helped a lot after, found excellent accommodation on the ocean, and at times cheaper than we rented before meeting him,showed all the cafes and restaurants where you can eat,in general I recommend getting acquainted with at the beginning of the vacation, and not like us in the second half, there were a lot of misunderstandings, both with housing and food, and with everything else, thank Denis again, and I recommend you, I strongly recommend starting your vacation with meeting this wonderful person!

Nearby is a wonderful cafe Lakurumba, shrimp, mango, where we met the guide Denis, he is a Sri Lankan, speaks Russian well, knows the island very well. I want to tell you that during the tour my back suddenly hurt, then Dinesh offered to conduct a therapeutic massage. He brought me to the Ayurvedic medical center, where they performed this very effective procedure.

We vacationed in Sri Lanka for the first time with my wife in the first half of February 2024. To say that I am delighted is to say nothing. Very interesting excursion! The guide is just a cannon, he didn't take a step away, tuk tuks paid, he bought a train ticket himself and provided bananas for the monkeys himself. I took him to the most beautiful place for breakfast. Lunch was in a wonderful restaurant!
