Antalya Airport has changed somewhat in 2025. Another terminal was built. There were more baggage belts on arrival, but there was no less mess. At the end of April, the baggage collection time was 1.5 hours.
On departure, everyone now goes to the new terminal, which is quite spacious, and we went through all the procedures quickly. However, check-in is opened only 3 hours in advance, and if your flight is postponed, they are not allowed in the clean area, and there is nowhere to sit in the halls before check-in. You have to rummage around on suitcases or catch chairs in coffee shops.
After passport control, you enter a new waiting room and a huge duty-free service. Prices are as cheerful as possible. But, we had a CIP booked in the old terminal, and it took 10 minutes to walk to it at a brisk pace. We thought that we would return to the first dutik later. But, due to its opening, prices in the old duty fell by half. And there are no people. No crowding. Peace and quiet, everyone is jostling in the new hall. So if you need cheaper and less crowding, go to the old terminal.
