An absolutely unremarkable place.
An absolutely typical story of a typical Jewish family.
The siege of Leningrad was much more severe and terrible.
What's going on here? The Jewish family lived well in Holland and did not reveal anything to themselves all this time.
By the way, her father lived to 1989 at the age of 91, while getting married for the second time after all this!!! So-so sadness.
