An unforgettable vacation. Excellent guest house, very friendly and friendly staff along with the hostess. The sea is across the street. A quiet place. The food is excellent. A year has passed after the rest, but the impressions still remain. We rested no worse than in Turkey.
A rotovirus infection is raging in the guest house. Almost all the guests were ill, especially the children. The Gagra themselves don't seem to be doing well with this virus either. "Fresh" vomit was often found on the sidewalks. At first I thought that someone had just been drinking too much. Then I saw several times how children and sober women and men vomited on the street.
The staff of the guest house DID NOT TAKE anything at all to disinfect the rooms, the dining room.
There is NO VENTILATION in the rooms, the door to the room was often kept open.
The railway is very close: no more than 3 meters from the house.
There are many breakwaters at sea with spear-sharp pins. It is VERY DANGEROUS, those who wear underwater glasses see it and warn others. The risk of being killed or injured is very high.
At sea, local Abkhazians on hydro scooters cut almost over the heads of floating people, inviting vacationers to ride. There is NO order.
In shops and cafes, the staff is rude. The cafe is relatively inexpensive, but the quality of the food IS JUST DISAPPOINTING. On the last day in Adler, we had lunch in an Armenian cafe and realized the difference in quality: everything from salad to compote was super tasty. It is twice as expensive (2 tr was given for 4x), BUT IT IS AWESOME TASTY AND THE SERVICE IS SUPER.
I DON'T ADVISE ANYONE! THEY DON'T LIKE PEOPLE HERE!!!! how it all started: we booked a hotel on a Booking, our main requirements were food and proximity to the sea. The reviews on the booking happily informed us that this is a "very good" hotel. The reservation was made long before the trip, so I decided to establish contact with representatives - a pleasant and sweet woman Svetlana answered my calls, offered us to cancel the reservation from the booking, they say they pay him expensive interest, and book directly... Okay, I went for it (and regretted it a hundred times). For the fact that we will cancel the reservation, Svetlana happily assured us that she will provide us with the best room with a sea view, and she will also give us a bottle of wine as a bonus. Okay, I think people need to be helped) I want to note that there were 3 people: two girls and a 3-year-old child, the room cost 4,500 per day. We arrived in the morning, just got to breakfast (for which we had to pay ourselves, because check-in only from 14.00) What was included in the breakfast: a purple sausage, boiled egg and salted oatmeal on water (this is the so-called "amazing breakfast"). We decided to wait for the number. As a result, we were accommodated on the 4th floor, which needs to be climbed up a steep staircase, and the "best room with a sea view" turned out to have a small window (30x30cm)... in the bathroom...At this point, Svetlana Milo assured us that she always keeps her word and will definitely put us in a room we booked with a window overlooking the sea, but after 4 days!!! (booked for 10 days). We were exhausted from the trip and decided to stay... In the morning, when the alarm went off, we woke up in a black room, not knowing where we were. Thus, we did not last long, on the 3rd day we decided to move out, because we did not have the strength to return to our high-altitude dungeon every day after the sea. the 2nd "amazing" breakfast was also no better - burnt fried eggs and boiled rice porridge, the child completely refused to eat it all. In general... we decided to move out, turned, explaining everything calmly, to Svetlana and her hostess, to which we were told that they would not refund our money in full ("... take what we give - 30% ..." of what we did not use). Of course, I was initially to blame myself for trusting this Svetlana and canceling the booking at the booking. As a result, we saved our vacation by moving to another hotel, which did not have deception and cute lies... I hope this review will help someone!

I want to leave my feedback about this guest house. We found it by accident, or rather we arrived in Gagra and were offered it. Since we were very tired from the road, there was not much time to look closely, but then it became clear where we were. I'll start on the positive side, this is of course a beautiful view from the covered veranda, which offers a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. The sea is 5 minutes away, very close, but at the same time not too noisy. This is where the advantages end (in my opinion). Firstly, there is no kitchen as such, there is only a kettle and a microwave for the entire hotel. There is no stove, no pans, no pots. But you can, for a fee, prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. You need to tell the cook about this in advance. Laundry is also available for a fee. Wi-fi works intermittently, it may turn off altogether at night. During the 10 days of our stay, they cleaned once on the ninth day after asking for it. The TV is not working, or rather two channels are working, but everything is rippling. There was one window in the room that overlooks the landing, so it is not possible to open it, since everyone will be looking at you, the room is very damp due to the fact that there is no normal ventilation, the floors are tiled, because of the dampness they are very cold, so the air conditioner worked more for heat than for cold. In the morning, it is not clear what the weather is, sunny or cloudy, sunlight does not get in at all. But they give towels for each guest and a small shampoo and soap once for the entire stay, toilet paper was also given once, then I had to ask. The bed linen has never been changed. There is wine and chacha on sale, I do not know how it tastes. There is no place for cars, you can only park behind a fence. In general, I had two impressions about this guest house, but most likely I would not return to it again
The numbers don't pull in the amount they want. It is better to walk through the streets and see cheaper and more civil rooms. And every second resident asks there.
The most honest and truthful review about this "guest house", first of all, let's start with the fact that we arrived in a good mood, but no one met us when we arrived at the guest house, although you know, the owner apparently slept and said that the administrator would come right now, a 5-minute wait and here was a miracle of nature, right away she informed us that there were "problems with water" in the room and we would be put in another hotel, for a moment it was her house. The entrance smelled very old and the room was 2 by 2, you can say we refused and rented another hotel. The next day we were still settled, but after other people, but those problems that we were told about were not there (he was just busy), there was a terrible stench in the room, dampness, ants, light and water will be cut off at any moment, the bathroom is terrible and also stinks of dampness! Rotavirus is there as the owner walks around the guest house, drink pills in packs if not more.

Sorry, but the hotel is not good, to put it mildly. The contract was with the hostess of the hotel for 500 rubles per person per day. A room with a bathroom. There is a guarded parking lot. They left a deposit of 2 thousand. As a result.... I was met not by the hostess, but by the administrator, and with a noticeable fume (Oksana, like from Lugansk). Thanks for letting me stay the night for the deposit. There was no parking, as a result. Okay In the room, the mattress of the bed stood on stumps, outside the windows there is really a railway with trains three meters away.... . But this was not the climax either. In the morning, the hostess appeared and said that the room was actually 4,400 rubles, and now it's like 2 thousand a day, not 500 rubles per person. And then this is a reservation for 5 days.... Although the contract was for ten days for 1000 (I would be glad to give 2 tr, but sorry, the agreement was different). And then allegedly we will be moved to a hostel, where just 5 00 rubles per person and a shared bathroom!!!! Sorry, but this is not a service!
Frankly, I don't recommend it.
Breakfast is one name. Porridge and a sandwich with tea. The room is not cleaned. Like this is a guest house and you need to clean it yourself and take out the trash. Change of linen once a week by yourself if you catch the right person. Washing is 100 rubles. There is a railway behind the wall, trains start running at 7.30 am. The Windows overlook the courtyard on the floor, so they are always covered with curtains. The beds are a shell net with a thick mattress and posts so that the net does not sag. The Internet goes down in the evening. From 2 to 6 in the morning, the electricity is turned off.
The hotel is clean and cozy! The staff is friendly, the posted photos are completely consistent with the hotel. Also at the hotel you can arrange to go on a personal tour (for a fee).
Not far from the hotel there are cozy places to eat at reasonable prices (for 4 people on average 1000-1200₽) Nearby there are grocery stores.
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach
Everything that was written on the Internet is not true.We drove into a dirty room with corpses with blood of mosquitoes on the walls, there was no refrigerator, one window facing the courtyard was cleaned once for 5 days of stay, and then only after a long swearing they washed the floor themselves and everything else from friends in general, the window went out to the garbage and to the railway.I do not advise anyone this guest house in the photo is not at all what everyone who was there promised they would spend the days before leaving just because of this
They were released from 15.06 to 24.06.There is no service of any kind.Room cleaning, as well as a change of bed linen every 5 days.I do not recommend this guest house.

We really liked it, it's less than 5 minutes to the sea, shops are nearby, everything is very convenient, very kind and helpful staff. We were satisfied with the trip by a million percent!!! They helped us choose a very interesting tour, we ourselves were confused by their number, in the morning we were taken right from the entrance of the hotel, in general, everything is top notch!
Don't believe the positive reviews. A terrible guest house. There is a huge disadvantage in our vacation in Abkhazia. I liked it in the Gagra themselves. The sea is clear and transparent.

A " wonderful " guest house. Horror is not the right word!!!!!! All positive reviews are fiction. The sanitation is complete. Rotovirus is roaming - guaranteed. By no means here, if you don't want to turn your vacation into a nightmare. I do not recommend it!!!
The place is very beautiful, but there are a lot of flaws in the hotel. The site says one thing about the hotel, but in fact everything is different for them. We went in 2018, it was written buffet on booking. When we arrived, the usual dining room. The food is not tasty, although they constantly offer an additive. The water cooler is in the dining room, which is closed in the evening. We arrived from excursions very late and could not even drink tea, since the dining room was already closed at that time. The room is covered in cobwebs and dust. There are no towel hooks even in the toilet. Cleaning for 7 days was not done at all. The Wi-Fi is not working well.

I liked it: close to the sea, good lighting, beautiful tiles on the stairs and a large veranda. I did not like it: the unacceptable proximity to the railway, trains whistle and rumble day and night 3 meters from the window and wall of the building (instead of at least 30 meters), being in such noise is dangerous to health. I do not know about the rest of the rooms, but I definitely do not recommend the suite, it does not correspond to the suite and is not worth the money. A very non-functional room, there is no safe, wardrobe to hang clothes, no refrigerator, no hangers in the shower, no curtains or blinds on the window - if you turn on the light, then you are like in a showcase, and the window just opens onto the stairs, where everyone goes to the guest house, there is no bed, just a sofa, though and big, but uncomfortable to sleep in. Instead, just two sideboards, expensive-rich furniture, an intercom system that all incoming calls will ring at midnight with the gate closed, there is a monitor and a DVR with a picture from all surveillance cameras at the TV, it does not turn off and the infection shines in your eyes all night, but you see what is happening around the perimeter and in the dining room. When a train passes by, it's very loud. It is not visible in the photo, it gives the impression that there are two rooms, in fact there is one room, but it is quite spacious.
One of the advantages is the very friendly and good staff, the dining room is delicious and well fed, not far from the sea.
The most important thing is not to give the entire amount at once, first examine the room very carefully and immediately make claims, and not after hours or days, if there are any, of course. If suddenly something is wrong, you will need to leave suddenly or you will not like something - you will not get the money back, I gave them 56 rubles in this way
I would never go there with a small child anymore. We were there from 10 to 20 September 2018. Intestinal infections are seized by children instantly. As the child got sick, they wanted to move from there, the owner categorically refused to return the money. Why it was written at the time of booking that this is the first line is not clear to me personally, although it is not far from the sea, and it is not stressful to walk, but the building does not have direct access to the sea. Cleaning was announced daily, but in fact, at most once a week. The food was announced according to the menu: lies, only what the cook will cook, the only thing for the sick, if you ask, the cook can cook something simple separately. You will not see the table setting here either, you take it yourself in the distribution window, you clean up after yourself. There is no question about the quality of service provision, because the remaining staff has been working seven days a week for 1-2 months, because the rest have been discharged. (Hardly anyone would leave a good place). There is a railway right under the window, about three meters from the building: the train signal is very invigorating. There is no need to talk about any bar either, there is none of this there: there is a refrigerator with drinks for sale. Dogs also interfere with sleep at night. It was stated that there were toiletries, so besides toilet paper, you will also not be offered anything, even they will send you to the store for soap. Water and electricity outages are a frequent occurrence, fortunately short-term - this is a problem for the whole of Abkhazia. All the declared services, which they have, but are paid separately: they are not available, they can order somewhere else. On the tour, you will be able to order a car, for which you will need to pay 3,000 rubles. Many rooms do not have a refrigerator, only a shared one in the hallway. There is not a single chair in the room, only on the terrace. There is an easel on the terrace, a couple of children's tables, high chairs - this is all there is of children's entertainment. But on the same terrace, guests are allowed to smoke, which is a very dubious pleasure for non-smokers and especially for children. And rooms with their own kitchen will not be offered to you here. Everything is sad with lighting: low voltage means dim light, and if there is also a window in the corridor, and not on the street, you live like in a crypt. No more than 5-7 channels will be shown on television. It is very uncomfortable to sleep on the beds, all the springs are felt. Mosquito nets are installed on the windows in the rooms, but there are none in the bathroom, and when mosquitoes bite you, you will not get a fumigator from the administration. We lived there in two rooms on the second and fourth floors: there are no problems with the wi-fi signal on the second floor, but on the fourth it catches only on the landing.

We had a family vacation , in principle, the price is quality. Do not expect service in Abkhazia, as for example in Turkey. But nature and cuisine .mmmm in general, the country of the soul) and the guest house is very good for your money.
