A great place to stop for a vacation. The hostess is very hospitable. The rooms are clean, the bed is fresh. The interior is designed in a retro style. On the second floor there is a kitchen, you can cook something yourself, and there is also a living room where you can have fun. There is a delicious breakfast. Parking near the house. I recommend.
We stayed here for the night from May 10 to 11, 2024 with two friends. And it was the worst hotel in all three trips to beautiful Georgia. It's about 20 degrees outside, about 10 indoors and without heating. It's terribly cold. We asked the hostess to turn on the heating, she agreed to do it after she saw that we started looking for another hotel. As a result, when we were sleeping, she turned off the heating at night, as a result, we woke up in the morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. In the morning, when the hostess was asked why she turned off the heating, she rudely replied that it was summer outside and it was hot for her, why heating at all. After that, she expressed a lot of insults to us and said that we were not welcome in Georgia. Then a person working in the service sector, whose duties include providing proper quality services, simply does not provide them and is rude in response, but we paid money for a room with breakfast. By the way, we also didn't get breakfast, because the hostess was in a bad mood, and she can't cook in such a mood... When they asked her to turn on the heating, we immediately offered an additional payment, but the hostess refused it. And in the morning she made a scandal, and accused us of everything that we spoiled her mood and came sick, although we are traveling together and completely healthy people. Bottom line, if you want to freeze and get rudeness and spoiled rest, you are definitely on your way. Later, I contacted my friend, a guide in Tbilisi, and he said that none of the good guides in Georgia would advise spending the night in Gori
The best impressions of staying in this guest house are associated with its owner, Anna. You feel like a truly welcome guest with her: she welcomes guests with such cordiality and warmth. He will wait late (we arrived closer to night), feed us a delicious breakfast and gather a sincere international company at his table. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, with a private bathroom – it turned out to be a two-room room, bright, very spacious. The "Stalinist" house, nostalgia. Clear. The location in the city is very convenient: 5 minutes for the museum, 15 minutes to the fortress. It is worth noting for the sake of objectivity that there is no air conditioner. But on the ground floor, in the heat above 30 degrees, it was nevertheless comfortable with the windows open. Parking is along the road, but there were free places, very close to the house (quiet street).
Booked without additional payment. We found it without any problems. Anna is a very friendly and pretty hostess, who speaks excellent Russian. A large kitchen with everything you need. 2 bathrooms. One of them was not very pleased. There is a large recreation area, there are even two of them. Parking is along the road, which is not very good. A couple of minutes walk to the center.
The hospitable hostess Anna. Very clean devices. The house is like a museum of the Soviet era, you can conduct excursions. By the way, Anna is a tour guide at the Stalin Museum
