It's a very beautiful place. If you are suddenly eating from Russia, and time allows, then go down near the fortress, there is free parking and an equipped beach with a playground. You can swim, have a snack, explore the fortress and go further towards Tbilisi.

It's an amazing place, the lake behind is just fine, especially if you're on the road. It is very beautiful and peaceful. We've been there once, it's one of the best places
