I put a solid 3 to the hotel, and then point by point.
We decided to diversify our vacation for some reason, saw enough beautiful videos about Bodrum and, with an eye on Greece, rushed on vacation for 10 days. From 06/17.24 to 06/26.24
I did not read about the hotel in advance, we looked, sorted out the options and prices for them, spat and went to this one. OK, it's decided!
Closer to the point....
We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. Let's go check in. The door of room 1412 opens, which is located on the 1st floor, next to the pool, loud music and walkways, and what do we see? A tiny room with 3 beds one after the other, like in a hospital (the walls of the room are white) and the first bed covers the front door by a quarter. There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children of 9 years old. It won't do. We're going to change it. We are told that there is only one room and it costs $ 15 /day. OK, there doesn't seem to be any point in swearing, they gave you the number, right? There is no guide, they do not speak Russian, they somehow understood each other in English. Pay $150 and sign up. Okay, let's go get something to eat. We go through the basik and my mood drops. Everything seemed to be a mess, surrounded by Turks and their wives, who in their robes swim in all 3 pools: large, children's and slides. Yeah, where have we come to!!! Later, we were told that Eid al-Adha was coming and crowds of locals came. The holiday is 9 days this year, i.e. almost our entire vacation. Great!
We go to the sea and again disappointment. Either we arrived in Anapa, Turkey, or we went to a river in the Moscow region. The water is standing, the water is brown, the whole beach is covered in steers, in bags and other garbage, there are dogs the size of a wine barrel and gypsy Syrians or whoever they are, I don't know, who swim in clothes, smoke waist-deep in water, throw a steer onto the shore and swim. Okay.... We somehow get used to it all in 2-3 days. We decide to take it (with great caution. Still not Greece) car rental. We turn to the hotel guide Kemran! Remember this name and have nothing to do with it! Kemran!!! Speaks Russian well. We are negotiating a lease. I specify the price, insurance and other nuances. Kemran answers me that the amount is taken for two days of rent at $ 85 / day (Renault) and $ 100 deposit. I check the insurance again and Kemran answers me that the car is insured for about $ 10 thousand. Ok. Signed the documents. During these two days we drove to Marmaris, where there is a good beach and a clean, transparent sea, as well as went to two more bays of Bodrum, where there are also excellent shores, a pebble / sand and the purest water. In general, we had a great ride. On the morning of the 3rd day, I rent a car, without a second thought, I give the keys to the inspector and oh, Gods!!! A SCRATCH! At the bottom of the bumper, barely noticeable. A lot of calls started to the bosses of the whole of Bodrum and then they tell me that we are taking 100 bucks and counting! Why all of a sudden, but insurance!? Insurance? Call KEMRAN! To which KEMRAN sides with the landlord and says, well, you didn't take a broken car? So what? Well, that's 100 bucks from you! And the insurance? And then the tsigany divorce began and there was talk that I should have recorded, called the police, because the owner of the car should receive a protocol, and then insurance. To my answer that the car is insured, there was no accident, there was a scratch on the car and it can be fixed and called the police, or the office itself can just go to the insurance company, I was told no! After 2 hours of arguments and calls, I was just told that this is not done here, they will not bother, they just take a deposit, exactly!? For these cases! As a result, I suggested calling the police and fixing it. They told me to call! I turned to the hotel security, asked to call the police, but immediately the "lookout" for the car ran up and explained to her in Turkish what and how. To which they wrote on my phone: "The police won't come, figure it out for yourself." I went to the reception and asked to call the police. The manager immediately jumped out and pointed me to the street with the words: "Outside", i.e. he sent me to figure it out myself, because an accident is not a problem of the hotel. Contact the Bodrum Police directly. That's such a gang-watering can! The car was eventually just taken away! The moral is this. Do not take anything from the guide. No excursions, no car, and don't change money. Bring the lira here at once. God forbid, what happens on the tour, Kemran will say that it's their own fault.
Next .... Bodrum itself is overrated in terms of beauty and locations. Yes, beautiful houses, but not Greece. Yes, the nature is good, the roads are similar, but... What kind of people... They are not Greeks either. I was once again convinced of this. There are beautiful places, I do not argue, but where they are not. The mills, just behind the hotel. The mills have one name. Dilapidated, without blades, waste products inside and around. Only the steep sunset view saves this place. In short, to the left of the hotel there is dirt, garbage, stinky rivers, dogs, and local residents are semi-homeless in appearance, and to the right after the luxury type mills is life, where there are good shops, good restaurants and basically everything. But let's go back to the hotel:
1. Staff - 5 points. The guys and girls are great. They work very hard. Room cleaning, plate cleaning, basik cleaning, drinks distribution. Well done. Everyone is young at the distribution, beautiful, sociable, friendly.
2. Food - 3+ points. The morning is the same. There are no nicknames for fried eggs, hamlets, etc. Boiled eggs, soy sausages, and fried sausages. Lunch is also not very diverse. Soups have one name. The one who ate was carried away from the tomato with vermicelli!))) Supper. Normal. There's always something on the grill. There is fish, there is meat, greens, sweets, etc.
3. Landscaping and landscaping - 4 points. There is enough greenery, but on the second floors, balconies and verandas they completely forgot about the client. Bald and naked. I even had to bring a pot of herbs to the room.
4. Drinks - 3 points. Vodka, gin, and with them dyes of 5 types. Wine:KR/white/rose. There is no rum. There is no whiskey.
5. Numbers-2 points. White, not beautiful, rolled-up bathrooms, broken doors and tiles, falling off bedside tables, no blankets, but a type of waffle tent, zero noise insulation. Screaming children, chatter, and so on are all audible.
6. Pool - 4 points. He is missing, the people are all in him. Children are screaming, women in robes are swimming, Turks are playing ball, Poles are sitting in a basik drinking drinks. One of the advantages: you can jump into it, it is cleaned and it is in the sun. But one bass player is not enough for such a crowd. The beds are normal and there is enough.
7. I will mark the recreation area-gazebos. Pleasant, comfortable, equipped. But everyone smokes, smokes and smokes. Children, not children smoke everywhere. And where they eat both on the basik and in gazebos.
8. There are cats and cats in the hotel, and dogs on the shore. If animals are not sick and allergic, then you are not here.
The question is, who is here? I don't know. I do not recommend this particular hotel. Only for cheap and if you haven't seen anything before. We talked with many Russians and people have the same impressions as mine. I conclude that it's time to finish with Turkey. Vacations are becoming more expensive, and comfort and quality are decreasing. From 5 to 3 stars. And don't forget! KEMRAN!!!!!))))
We rested on 07/18/24
The only plus of the hotel is an excellent Wi-Fi, the rest is a shock
The room is very small in terrible condition, the socket was one on one side of the bed,the bedside table was also one,the closet did not have a door,at first we thought the design was like this, but then we saw a mirrored door in the next room 😂there was black hair on the sheet, the pillow was made of stone,it was scary to go into the bathroom, everything was very old and worn, the toilet made a wild roar when flushing and did not flush anything, it was scary to touch the towels, the air conditioner pleased us, it cooled well outside it was +38
There are dirty plates in the dining room, and everything with frozen ketchup and it's not clear what else, it's just a shock, the most interesting thing is that the vacationing Turks, most of them at the hotel do not see this, they had to wash themselves every time, approached the manager with this question, the situation has not changed, there are no complaints about food
There was even yogurt for breakfast, there were always several types of meat for dinner, and delicious desserts.
The beach is another shock, iron half-broken deck chairs with mattresses, which still needs to be found, there is not enough for everyone, so it is necessary to come preferably by 8 am, there are white plastic sun beds, but there are six of them, the mattresses are very dirty, so we washed our own in the sea in the morning, the sand is all in cigarette butts and it is not clear yet what, it's hard to even call it sand,it's very dirty on the beach, the water in the sea is just terrible, there was always a film on the water and garbage constantly floated, huge dogs run around the beach in packs, shit under the sunbeds
There is no embankment, there is no place to walk in the evening, we lived near the center 10 minutes on foot, but there is nothing to do there, some shops with junk, it looks like a flea market and it is also very dirty, shoes stuck and a lot of garbage
There was also a Mill attraction nearby, nothing special, but in the evening at sunset there is a beautiful view of the city, there is a cafe, but again there is a lot of garbage, a billion steers under your feet, if you walk a very steep climb 10 minutes from the hotel
At the reception, they speak only Turkish, they seem to speak English, but they have their own Turkish-English
I'm betting 1 out of 5
