This is the best hotel in Gagra. Fiala is the best woman in the world. Abkhazian hospitality is at the highest level. We were given a room even better than the one in the ad. The rooms are clean, everything is well maintained. Fiala puts her soul into the hotel and into the guests of her house. The rooms have a TV, refrigerator, split system, panoramic Windows overlooking the courtyard. It is also possible to book excursions. We ordered a much lower price tag for the lake than all the excursions that were offered to us. Sasha, who accompanied us , took us to places where not many tourists had visited . Thank you very much for the very huge and cozy kitchen, everything is in the kitchen, everything is clean.There is a market near the hotel, there are a lot of cafes if you are not ready to cook. And of course the sea is 10 minutes away. Thanks to Fiala and her nephews for the super comfort and homely atmosphere.

Very hospitable hosts, welcomed us like family, treated us with wine. The room is clean, the plumbing is working properly., the air conditioner was working quietly. There was no TV, but we didn't need it. There is a summer kitchen with everything you need, tables where you can sit for dinner. the location is excellent in a few minutes to the sea and the promenade. The hostess of the Fiala is the heart of this guest house!

Gorgeous territory, very well maintained! There are many places where it's easy to fix)) There is even a separate barbecue area with wicker rattan chairs, but we didn't get there)) We spent whole days exploring the city
We were pleasantly surprised by bathrobes, slippers and even shower gel and shampoo so cute for people from the plane!
The room was cleaned every other day, not every hotel organizes such a thing, this is plus a change of linen!
Water and Wi-Fi, which have problems in Abkhazia.. There is no such thing here 🤷😄
The hostess is Alina, just a cannon! Solves all the slightest questions right away!

The hotel is well located, there is a grocery store, pharmacy, canteen nearby. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the sea.
Of the disadvantages, photos in reality do not coincide with reality. The photos were taken immediately after the repair, which was a long time ago. The room is dirty. For a family of 4 people, 2 large towels and 2 small ones were provided. There were constant problems with wi-fi. There are three channels on TV and they are bad. A mattress with a spring, I don't know how they survived on it. And a chair for a child is generally a quiet horror.

We visited the Amza hotel in the city of Gagra for 4 days , we were extremely dissatisfied .The terrible attitude of the staff , when asked to change the towel , I heard in response that they have few towels and it is impossible to change , they will change after three days , there is no toilet paper in the rooms , for such a cost of 15 thousand rubles , I think you can put toilet paper in the room.I have to beg for everything from the maid.I don 't say anything about the dining room at all , it 's TERRIBLY not tasty , you can easily get poisoned like we were poisoned .There are no dishes for all guests in the fourteen-storey hotel , people stand in line for cups and plates for 30 minutes .When asking the waiters where to get the dishes, the waiter waves his shoulders.The terrible attitude of the staff, I repeat once again, I really regretted that I came here, for such money I could relax in Sochi and even a hundred times better.

This is the best place to stay in Gagra.
Very convenient location, there is literally everything nearby:markets , various cafes , a water park, the sea , the train station and everything is very close. The rooms themselves are very clean and cozy. The rooms have a toilet, shower,hairdryer, refrigerator, hairdryer, table. There are three and double rooms. There is also parking on site.
The sea is literally 5-7 minutes on foot.

Parking in the courtyard is free. Now the cons: the kitchen has no stove, so you can only cook tea and reheat it in the microwave, and the owners are always sitting there, which is annoying. There is one table on the balcony for 2 rooms and one chair, so you need to know the basics of psychology so that there is no conflict with neighbors. The main drawback is that there is no generator, so for 8 days, about a day we spent without light, water, air conditioning, etc.

Of the advantages in this guest house, only the location is 5 minutes to the sea, near the canteens, the market, which is very convenient. Of the cons: for 8 days of stay, the room was never cleaned, bed linen and towels were not changed, the sewer stank terribly. The summer kitchen was unsanitary, there was not even a knife in the elementary way - they bought it themselves at the market. The woman who looks after the hotel did not respond to requests and comments. Frequent power outages, a generator was working in a neighboring guest house, and we were sitting without light and water. Carefully look at the weather forecast before you plan to come here - there is a small river nearby, which, with heavy precipitation, spills into a stormy river. And the whole courtyard of the hotel, and perhaps your car will be in the water. We booked a room on the second floor in advance, but upon arrival we were told that all rooms on this floor were occupied, we were settled at our discretion. Perhaps I will consider other guest houses during my next vacation in Abkhazia👍

The rest was wonderful! In many ways, this is the merit of the owners of this house. We are always ready to help and respond to any request. The convenient location of the guest house:the sea is close, outside the house, there are cafes and shops. The hostess makes natural coffee, for which our special thanks go to her! Individual trips are also offered , the driver (Guide), talked a lot and willingly about the country, the places we visited , the trip turned out to be very informative "with legends". We booked this hotel for 3 months, took 2 rooms, an advance payment was made for each for a daily fee of 6975 rubles, we arrived and gave 40 thousand in cash, the remaining 39 thousand had to be withdrawn while we were looking for an ATM, we saw all the "beauties of Abkhazia", namely: dusty dirty streets, a pile of garbage under with their feet, the sea is dirty, Negroes stick to the beach with pictures, brazenly beg for money, you can also see drunken sleeping homeless people on the beach, it is not surprising that reviews often write about E. coli. While we were walking, we ate in the dining room, where it is expensive , not very tasty and, frankly, not quite clean.
When we got to the room, we ate even more. In the room where we spent two hours, for which we were charged 24 thousand, all in mold (corner room on the second floor). The sink there is also broken, and the entrance doors are hard to close, the locks are broken!! As a result, we decided to leave, and the surprises did not end there. When We explained to the owner who had already arrived, they said that we would not live, he decided to keep 40 thousand for himself, for the fact that we left, we were shocked, with grief and in half he returned 30 thousand to us, took 10 thousand for himself and plus an advance payment. therefore, know that if you have problems, you will be stripped to the skin and will not help in any way. The owner only cares about money! In general, he is some kind of criminal, the taxi driver who took us away, he asked to tell us the address where he would take us ( apparently he would have come to download the rights ), so I advise you to avoid this place . A fake wine treat on arrival does not mean at all that the hosts will take care of you.

AMZA is not a hotel, it is a non-hotel.
Positive reviews relate to the neighboring hotel - "Cottages in Gagra", photos with a fountain, barbecue and chairs, possibly confusion with the address on the map.
AMZA review - The room is smoky, there is nothing to breathe.
Dirt is everywhere - the floor is dirty, the bedside table is dirty even inside - as if syrup and sugar were spilled. The shelf of the bedside table fell apart in his hands immediately.
The doors are broken, the locks are broken. The TV does not work, the remote control does not work - inside there are just completely rusty red batteries, not oxidized white ones, but rusty ones. It is better not to open the door to the shower room - IT STINKS of sewage. Air conditioning - the blades jam in extreme positions. A table and 2 stools are one for 2 rooms, they did not say about it, I had to clean everything from the table just on the floor. The dryer turns out to be also One for 2 rooms. THE TERRITORY of the hostel has 5 Parking spaces - EVERYTHING. There is no place for children to play . Outdoor kitchen - 3 tables and a kettle - EVERYTHING. 5000rubles a day - for WHAT?????? 500₽ a bed, 1000₽ for two is the maximum, UGH, disgusting!

AMZA - a flophouse for 5000 rubles.
We booked it in advance. On the day of arrival, they said there were no rooms - go to another hotel in another city. It is not clear who they agreed with on the phone, some called back, others called back, they did not want to tell the address of this wonderful place. The hostess said that we were not expected, we have to move out tomorrow.
THERE is NO barbecue, fountain, rattan chairs here - the neighbors have THEM.
There is only a parking lot filled with rubble from the construction site and a kitchen for 3 tables with 1 kettle. Dirty SMOKY room, broken shower, not working TV, jammed air conditioner, broken doors, broken dirty bedside table, STINKS OF SEWAGE. Dryer , table and chair - for 2 rooms, they don't talk about it - it's a secret. There is no place for children to play.
I do not recommend this place!

Well, to be honest, it's better not to go there on New Year's holidays. Wi-Fi almost never catches anywhere. The buffet is weak, there is almost nothing to eat. Music is playing: 10 months, Russians, fan speakers.People from all over Russia, diverse. An uncomfortable old hotel, big. The view from the room is beautiful (there was an 8th floor). There were 2 small beds, but we needed one for two. We couldn't offer anything. There was no cleaning in 3 days, only garbage was taken away. Thanks for the rest, we won't be back.

We stayed at this guest house in June 2023, we really liked it. The rooms are as in the photo, new, clean, there is a kettle and a refrigerator. There was always warm water. Stunning mountain view, dining room - 2 minutes, market - 5 minutes, sea - 10 minutes. The hosts are friendly, we were on an excursion to Lake Ritsa with the owner, we were very impressed)). We made a lot of stops in picturesque places, told us about the local way of life and traditions. I recommend it!

We had a rest in September. From the very beginning, they were met unkindly, from the side of the woman ,, the caretaker,,. To any comments that it is dirty in the rooms, that the door locks do not work, goes to NOISE! The place is really good, everything is nearby - the sea, the market, a lot of cafes, but .. this woman in black ruined the whole impression. As a result: the rooms are really dirty, dust, sugar, doshirak ... and this,, after, allegedly, cleaning,, there was no cleaning for 11 days, the linen did not change (and this despite the fact that everyone goes from the sea, well, the sand), the conditions were not discussed, as independently, in this in case, to restore order. Where to get a broom and a mop. Yes, it's not even pleasant to talk, but, in that case, what to pay for?! I will never advise anyone to this guest house!

The four of us had a rest , my husband and I , and my sister and daughter .
We booked 2 rooms .
It started with the fact that on the day of arrival we were offered to wait until the evening first, since there are no available rooms and the guys will check out later. Then the receptionist came and said that they could give only one room (out of 2 paid) and put a cot in it or take it to another hotel for one night.
We chose another hotel - this is generally a separate topic to which bedbugs we were brought to
The next day they were picked up and settled only at 12 o'clock .
There was wallpaper on the wall in the room , dirt in the bedside table , sand on the floor .
They asked me to wipe it, they said, "I just cleaned up."
For 11 days, they never changed the linen, towels or cleaned the room.
You need to take out the garbage yourself .
On the day of departure, despite such a jamb with check-in, they asked to vacate the room until 12. The question is, does the eviction rule work only with us ???
For some reason, no one hurried those who were supposed to vacate the room in front of us.
Okay, we left at 12.
It turned out that it was necessary to leave the order in the room and take out the trash .
They called them pigs , shouted at the whole yard .
They spoiled the impression of Abkhazia with their attitude .
In Abkhazia , 5 times and for the first time such a piggish attitude . Before that , we rented a hotel in the village - and the room was cleaned , and towels were changed .
And here there are just 0 services in the Gags .
It 's terrible , I don 't advise anyone to come here !!!!

We came for a long-awaited vacation in September of this year, four of us.Upon arrival, it turned out that there was only one free room and when the second one was released, it was not clear how we were told "get into the situation, the guys don't know when the room will be released," and what we paid for that day too... everyone didn't care and offered either to move the four of us into one room and give a cot, or take two to a nearby hotel for a day.
We were settled in one room, and after 2 hours we were asked to leave because a bigger family arrived)))
The room was terribly dirty.There is sand and hair on the floor, salt/sugar to taste in the drawers of the bedside tables))There is nothing in the room except a refrigerator, a kettle and a tee rewound with tape.
The cleaning lady, who concurrently looks after the "hotel", turned out to be an aggressive and inadequate lady.She gave us a 12-day bike ride for asking for a rag to wipe the cabinets and surfaces on our own.
I have something else to add, but I will focus on how, finally, our neighbors were shouted at the whole yard that they were pigs and did not take out the garbage... and the fact that we did not change bed linen and towels for two weeks, the cleaner did not remember about it.

The room is, of course, economy, but there is not enough small table for cups in it. It is inconvenient to run for dishes in the summer kitchen from the 4th floor. The amenities in the room work only when there is electricity (frequent interruptions for several hours) the most annoying thing is when generators are working in neighboring hotels, and you are sitting in the dark sticky with warm beer. The maid cleans up on the dump, they moved into a cleaned room, and there was hair all over the floor and dust in shreds. Smoking while delivering clean laundry is fantastic. There is no room cleaning during the stay at all. The curtains are dirty. There are 2 good canteens nearby. If you go a little further into the center, there are many good cafes. There is a small river next to the hotel, into which a sewage disposal machine periodically comes to drain. And then it all merges right onto the beach. I can leave only the most positive reviews about the hotel and its owners. The landscaped area with a gazebo, swings and a fountain is conducive to relaxation and enjoyment. The rooms have everything you need: bathroom, shower, TV, air conditioning, wi-fi. If you want to cook yourself, there is a summer kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and a bunch of different dishes. Too lazy to cook - there is a dining room with a good kitchen two steps away. A grocery store is also nearby. If you arrive by car, you can leave it on the closed territory of the hotel. One caveat: if you don't have a good relationship with dogs, then you shouldn't stop here. The hotel is guarded by a magnificent Eastern European Shepherd. She is a sociable girl, likes to communicate with the guests. For me, the only drawback of this place was the unsettled nature of the surrounding area. However, in Abkhazia, alas, it is almost everywhere. If you close your eyes to this, then it's a great option for a vacation.

Some disadvantages: there was no refrigerator in our room, but the room is on the 4th floor and to take, for example, milk from the common refrigerator in the kitchen, you need to go a long way. At the same time, the neighbors had refrigerators in the room for the same price. There was also no kettle in the room, and the kettle in the shared kitchen was in terrible condition. There are only two electric cooking stoves for all 16 rooms. There was no TV remote control in our room, they promised every day that they would buy a remote control, but in 11 days a miracle did not happen. When the TV is turned on without a remote control, three channels are working, everything is hissing and rippling. The clothes dryer is one for two rooms, as well as the table in the room is one for two rooms. There is a river with a very unpleasant smell next to the hotel. The Internet barely works, and sometimes it doesn't work at all, as well as there is no light and water. Our vacation was ruined. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked a 3-bed room, in return we provided a 2-bed room for this price, added a sofa, thanks to this it is impossible even to walk in the room. There is mold all around, bed bugs, linen is not changed in a week, even how long they were there, rooms are not cleaned. I do not recommend either the agency, we made a very wrong choice, we did not take a voucher, nor the hotel.

The administrator is a girl of questionable behavior, the owners are a bunch of matchmaking brothers, drunken fights in the yard at night with the same friends of the owners. Not a single good night. The TVs in the rooms do not work, although the price tags are not the smallest. There are no blankets, just duvet covers. We won't go there anymore.
