We stayed at Amwaj Rotana at the end of March — the weather was great, about 32 degrees, ideal for a holiday! The room had a stunning view of the Eye of Dubai and the Persian Gulf. It is especially beautiful at night — the Eye glows, creating a "wow" effect that you want to shoot over and over again.
The hotel is declared as 5 stars and generally corresponds to: clean, stylish, high-quality service. There is a gym, a swimming pool for adults and children — everything is in good condition. The public beach and metro are just 3 minutes away on foot, which is very convenient. There is a 24—hour supermarket nearby (30 meters from the entrance) - I helped out more than once.
On the downside, the hotel was 100% loaded at the time of our stay, and three elevators were clearly missing. Sometimes I had to wait quite a long time, especially in the morning before going out.
Otherwise, it is a great place to stay in Dubai, especially if the location and beautiful view from the window are important.

We have been vacationing with my husband since 01/21/2025 . I liked the hotel, everything is comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were included in the tour. There is a buffet breakfast. Everything is delicious! Excellent attitude of the service staff. I especially want to thank Maria and Ako. The room was cleaned every day. View from the room to the sea.
Great lunch on Saturdays! Barbecue party. Delicious! My husband was congratulated on his birthday with a gift from the hotel , a birthday cake in the room .
There are shops and cafes nearby. To any wallet .
The sea didn't seem too cold for us) , we swam. Pure water , invigorates ! The sand is white and clean .

Very good for an unassuming tourist. My family and I have been vacationing for 10 days for the 2nd year from January 2 to January 12. Half board. There is everything for breakfast. Delicious porridges, all kinds of egg dishes. And other things for every taste. I don't have enough cheesecakes, but I didn't even find them at Starbucks. Nothing, you can survive 10 days. Lunch and dinner are the same. Everything is very tasty, the soups are peculiar, mostly very spicy. The waiters are friendly. Compared to January 24, there were more Russian-speaking staff in January 25. The rooms are cleaned every day, and in the evening they come in and ask if they need anything, and bring water.
We found a liquor store a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Marina Mall is 15 minutes away. We took taxis to the rest of the shopping centers. Mall of Emirates 50 dirhams, Dubai Mall 65 dirhams by taxi meter.
5 minutes walk to the sea.
The photo shows the view from the balcony. In the evening at 20.00 and at 22.00 there is a great view of the drone show.

Great location!
It takes 5 minutes to the sea, 10-15 minutes to the metro, or 1 tram stop that stops right outside the hotel.
There is a 24-hour supermarket on site. Marina Molyu is within walking distance, and it's very nice to just walk around Dubai Marina or Bluewater Island.
The room itself is huge, about 130 sq. m. Although it wasn't exactly cozy.
On the plus side: 2 separate bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. There's also a guest toilet in the hallway. Large living room and kitchen. There are all necessary household appliances: a large refrigerator, stove with oven, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer. The furniture and appliances are old enough, but everything worked except the iron, which was quickly replaced.
Excellent driver at sea. We lived on the 2nd floor with a view from the balcony on the video. They say that the higher the view, the better.

Remember that the sockets are different. Don't forget the adapters. But actually, with the help of a plastic spoon / fork, you can push it in (pictured).

We had a rest in the middle of December. Great hotel. Good location, convenient access to the beach. All shops and an exchange office are within walking distance. The food is excellent.
The only thing that overshadowed our vacation was that two weddings were played in the hotel restaurant one day. It is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There was a loud trumpet outside, a lot of noise, dancing, drums, and song-dancing. Closed doors didn't help. The neighboring hotels were probably unhappy too

Lack of salt in salt shakers, napkins. When asked to bring it, the waiters reacted very slowly, and everything was brought in about 10 minutes. Requests were generally fulfilled one per day. If you asked for tea, they don't bring you coffee. We tried to talk to the administrator, they nod their heads, but nothing changes.
You can rent sun beds and umbrellas at the hotel for money. But for some reason they were not always ready to give the right amount. And they began to limit it.
Overall, the service is very slow everywhere. Especially in the main restaurant.
Alcohol that is free of low quality, my husband started having allergies.
Desserts are served in small cups, which do not include teaspoons.
The all-inclusive system is also weird. In restaurants located on the territory, pasta is free, meat is for an additional fee.
The hotel does not have its own beach, you will go to the city beach, where there were a lot of Indians and African Americans. They came in huge companies, washed in the water, and started fights.

A few words about the pool - there is a view of the Ferris wheel, there are enough sun beds for everyone, they give out a tinder bag and a towel. We took breakfast + dinner and never regretted it. On one of the excursions we ate in Radisson, it was +- the same. Somewhere worse, somewhere better. My wife had a doctor, they came up to me, asked me delicately, congratulated me with a cake, my wife was very pleased. Even at peak load, there were no problems, except that it took a little longer for the waiter to bring a drink in the evening. Room cleaning is always done without any problems or unpleasant surprises. The pool was not used, the towel was taken quickly, conveniently, without any problems. Room: nice, good furniture, old smart TV (if you have enough patience, you can turn on Russian movies or cartoons on YouTube). The cleaning is excellent, every day, but often they forget to put something in: a bathrobe, towels, or water. Coffee, tea, sugar are given daily. The view of the sea and the wheel is beautiful, the balcony with a glass fence is creepy.
The Wi-Fi works perfectly, even on the street near the hotel.
Food: we have breakfast and dinner. You can have a buffet at the Horizont restaurant, it's better to come early, because there are a lot of people: it may turn out that they won't let you in, you'll wait in line. Breakfasts and dinners are monotonous, but the choice of dishes is sufficient. Breakfast: eggs, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, porridges, yoghurts, vegetables, fruits, fish, cheese. Dinner: red and white fish, often shrimp, mussels, octopus and squid, rice, potatoes, meat steaks and stews, local dishes, salads, vegetables, fruits, cheese, desserts. A little bit of everything, but you won't stay hungry.
You can dine in two more restaurants - Italy Rosso and Japan Benihana: the choice of dishes is not very large menu + there are dishes for money. We were at rosso: we only took free food, soup, salad, risotto, pasta, pizza. We ate, the dishes are big and delicious. Rosso has a children's menu (sliced vegetables, pizza, burgers, chicken with delicious mashed potatoes, ice cream, milkshakes). Do not take fruits - they are green.
The pool is small and there is little sun (shade from buildings). There are few sun loungers, but there are enough, because people go to the beach. Pool towels are provided in the same place - 2nd floor. Beach towels are provided on the 3rd floor under the painting. The beach is beautiful, it takes 5 minutes to walk, there is a separate exit with an elevator from the hotel through the pool, sun beds are expensive, but there is a lot of free space, they are not needed, the sand is pleasant, the water is clean, the water was +18 in January, it's a bit cold, but if you swim well and actively, then it's normal. The weather outside is +25 - the end of January, it's not very hot, you can sunbathe.
There are 3 elevators, it's not a very long wait, they're fast. The gym is good, Towels are provided, water is in the cooler. Cardio, exercise equipment, dumbbells, Smith.
The staff at the hotel is wonderful. There is a 24-hour supermarket nearby, everything is basic. Prices are much more expensive than in the Russian Federation (there is a photo of the receipt, written in a pen in rubles). Meals in the cafe: one dish is about 2000-2500 rubles.

A hotel that can be recommended to everyone, without risk! Great location, wide selection of different room categories, great pool and SPA! Restaurants on the level. But the highlight is probably the Lounge, which is located on the 25th floor. It offers the most beautiful view of the Wheel, Blue Water Island, Palm Tree and Atlantis, and of course Jumeirah beach. Access to the Lounge is provided to guests of High-class Club Rooms and Suites. By choosing one of them, if you are not looking for an all-inclusive Turkish, then even breakfast, not to mention half board, is not required to pay - the Lounge has breakfast, snacks, a light dinner and even a little alcohol at certain hours. In general, the hotel is quite consistent with 5*. Rooms and public spaces are regularly renovated. In 2022, they completely redesigned the Lobby on the ground floor with a beautiful atrium, and in 2023, the Horizon restaurant was renovated. We regularly stay at this hotel with the whole family and recommend it to friends!
