A great place , I searched for a long time and did not regret it, everything is fine and the food and the beach , there are no people on the beach , there are plenty of places , bars are at the reception, near the pool , and on the beach , great guys , always smiling , especially liked the beachEverything is beautiful , compact , and there are parties , dances , and afternoon entertainments . The sea is shallow at first , well , like everywhere else , there is a pier where you can dive into the depth immediately , watch corals and fish with masks , the rooms are good , wood furniture , safe , cleaning every day , the room was with a balcony -super 🔥in addition to a variety of food , grilled langoustines, barbecue , something else once, but we had already eaten so much that we were not up to it. There is a lot of varied food , different fruits and salads from them , ordinary soups and mashed potatoes, chicken meat, beef, everything is delicious. A woman alone made tortillas from puff pastry with cheese , very tasty , they melted in her mouth . At lunch they gave alcohol , wine , beer , in the evening and strong drinks and wine , beer . In general, everything is on the bar until 12 or 1 am . What can I say, the rest was a success, I liked everything , I would have returned again.
The pools are clean all along the hotel and of varying depths. There is a desert behind the hotel and something is being built, but we did not care about it in any way. It is located 30-40 minutes from Hurghada . We went on diving excursions -super fire 🔥 I recommend going to the open sea , on Safari bikes 😀🔥and to Luxor to go there for 4 hours , not 2 as they say . We also went on a study tour to Hurghada - it was the first time , that 's why we went Interestingly , but then they take us to the market , to the pharmacy , who needs to come in . I recommend this hotel, I would give 4 ++++++++++++ , Everything is great 🔥
We had a rest before NG in 2024. Liked it: the food, little variety, but delicious. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly. The beach, sun beds, pools-there are many of them for every taste and height, from cold to Jacuzzi ....
They were occupied late at night. As it turned out, to the shadow side. But I really wanted warmth in winter. Therefore, the next day we had no problems changing the room from the sunny side.
In May 2025, they will have the opening of a new building, already in a modern way, an aquapark.
We were there from 31.12 - 11.01.25.
We arrived early, checked in quickly, and got the room without renovation, but everything was clean and working, that's the main thing!)
New Year's Eve, the holiday was a success, the tables were set under a tent, a buffet, there was everything (different meat carcasses on grills, different fish carcasses, vegetables, fruits, sushi, rolls, slicing, cheese is very decent) concert all night.
The staff does things all the time, cleans, cleans, and SO on.
Everything is fine with food, I don't want to repeat myself, everything is there and very tasty and a lot.
Heated swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi yes.
The bars are all great, the guys will bring everything themselves))) There is a good beach, but swimming only from the pier didn't bother us, we don't care.
There are two Ala kart restaurants, Italian and Lebanese, we got more Lebanese, it's meat, the guys are great, everything is delicious.
Yes, twice a week there are dinners on the beach (Thursday and Sunday).
The spa center is paid. There is a gym for free.
The animation is good, the guys are working hard!) for both kids and adults.
Yes, the hotel is the only one for those who need movement, on the contrary, that's what we wanted. There are shops, and there is also a pharmacy.
There is a guest at the reception, Tatiana, if you have any questions, she will always help) and just find out what your mood is! Tatiana hi big)
And so the staff will not refuse.
There is a coffee shop with great coffee, the guys create beauty.
Bars on site in the lobby, pool and beach.
We also celebrated Christmas there, everything was also on the same level)
Yes, there is no Wi-Fi on the territory of the hotel, in the rooms, on the beach.
We had enough to watch movies)))
The holidays were a success, and that's the most important thing!!!)))
The main advantage of this super hotel is its well-trained and friendly staff. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, but far from any settlement. The entrance to the water is shallow, you need to go far enough to get to the depth, but you can swim directly from the pier. The food in the dining room is good and varied. If you have allergies, then a separate meal will be prepared upon request. I haven't tried all the alcohol, just red grape wine. It was quite acceptable.
I liked everything very much. The food is so delicious and varied that we got fat during this stay. The staff is friendly (except our guide). The rooms at the hotel are excellent. The pool is deep and warm, there is for both children and adults. There is a gym on site, but there was no time to go there😅
An excellent animation team, always invited to various activities: darts/yoga/dancing / water polo
An animation program takes place in the evenings
The only thing I didn't really like: entering the water only from the pier, since it's a long way from the shore and there's absolutely nothing around the hotel, but it's not scary, you can always take a taxi and get to the shops)
The color of the water in the sea is simply incredible. There are a lot of different fish in the sea near the hotel, be sure to take masks, we even saw an octopus and a turtle. By the way, masks can be rented right on the pier
There are very pleasant memories from the hotel 🩵
We were from 13 to 20.02.2025. I, my wife and 2 children (4 and 8 years old).
territory
The territory is not large, but it is convenient. Everything is well maintained and clean. Most of the territory is occupied by swimming pools. There are many Egyptian herons on the territory. There is a gym (free of charge) and a SPA (for a fee).
THE BEACH
The beach is great. The magnificent views of the sea are complemented by an abundance of palm trees near the shore. The beach is big, there are always enough sun beds for everyone. There are wind barriers near the sun beds, and it's quite comfortable to sunbathe even in February. For an additional fee, they will choose a great place for you and build a whole recreation area protected from the wind, we did not pay for it. The sea is shallow, the children have fun, and small islands with snails form at low tide. There are almost no animals near the shore. If you go deeper, the water is warm, but you need to go far. There is a pier, you can swim from it.
SWIMMING POOLS
The main pool is heated (good). There is a Jacuzzi with hot water.
+2 large swimming pools without heating.
Sun beds near the pool are always freely available.
The children's section is connected to a heated swimming pool, but without heating.
Number:
The room stock has seen better days (when compared with hotels in Turkey), but it's not bad for Egypt, torn bedding doesn't count in places. Absolutely all rooms overlook the pool. The rooms were cleaned daily, and for a fee, the cleaner turned into a sculptor and sculpted towels, as well as brought flowers. Nice. After cleaning, the sand in the room became a little less. The mattress is hard. The lighting is dimmed. The air conditioner wasn't working for heating, but the room was comfortable. Shampoo and soap were in dispensers. The cleaners could be asked to bring conditioner and shampoo in individual containers. There were no hot water interruptions.
meal
We weren't hungry. The breakfasts are excellent, otherwise it's either empty or thick. You can eat both in the main restaurant and on the beach. You can also visit an Italian, Indian or Japanese restaurant for free once a week, where Egyptian chefs show how they see the cuisine of these countries.
The main menu always has chicken and beef. There were also seafood and duck sometimes. There are fruits, vegetables and strawberries.
BARS AND ALCOHOL
There is a bar in the lobby, open 24/7. There is also a coffee bar (I only drank coffee here).
There is also a pool bar and a beach bar. The disco bar opens in the evening.
The drinks include Beer, Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, Gin, Brandy, and locally produced Ouzo. Non-alcoholic Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, and Jupi-type juices. If desired, you can mix it, tint it with syrup and get a cocktail. The quality of the drinks is not bad.
NEAR THE HOTEL
A desert in every sense. You can walk to Safaga along the sea through the Shams Hotel. The journey in one direction will take about 50 minutes. There are various shops in Safaga. There are also vendors and a pharmacy near the hotel (this is where we bought everything we needed). You can also order a taxi and go to the SensoMall. There is everything here. A one-way taxi ride takes 30 minutes.
There IS AN ANIMATION
.
In the end, it's a good four.
I wish you all a good rest!
Egypt in November is a great place to relax, it's hot in the afternoon, comfortable in the morning and evening. We stayed at the hotel as a couple from November 6 to November 13, 2024.
Briefly about the tour:
The flight took about 6 hours, Ural Airlines and Red Wings flew, they give out a sandwich + a drink from food, for those who like to eat, it is advisable to take something with you so as not to starve.
The transfer to the hotel takes about 1.5 – 2 hours, we were personally taken the very last, and they took us back in the first place, it is a little exhausting.
Separately, I would like to note the security system at Hurghada airport – this is a whole quest of a dozen inspections, from the moment you get to the airport to the exit to the departure lounge, about 2 hours have passed from queues – be patient.
If you see kilometer–long queues after entering the airport, use the Fast Track service provided by the airport staff, the cost is $ 30 per person, but this will greatly save time and nerves.
Now about the hotel:
Russian-speaking staff meet at the reception, we arrived at 13:00, check-in from 14:00, politely invited to lunch, but checked in exactly after 14:00 without delay.
Our room was standard, it was comfortable, the room itself was no frills, there is a balcony, everything is clean and cozy, the furniture was slightly different from the images on the website. All necessary care products are available: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion, hair dryer worked properly. Towels and bed linen were steadily changed, no insects were found. There is a safe in the room – it is free, to use it, you need to contact the reception, we did not bother to do this and there is a suspicion that $ 40 was stolen from your wallet (but probably just lost money, not caught – not a thief)
The huge advantage of Wi-Fi in the room, we were pleasantly surprised by this.
The beach is clean and well–groomed, there are more than enough places, the left part of the beach is the Relax Zone – we mostly rested there and, as if in this zone, they pester and bother us with various services much less often, we were approached literally several times during the entire vacation.
You can enter the sea from the beach, but the water will be knee-deep at most, and at low tide it will not be at all, it is convenient for children to swim, to reach the depth, you need to go a long way. Therefore, for those who like to swim, we go to the pier, it is open from 9:00 to sunset, you can swim there and admire the underwater world of the Red Sea, in the morning visibility in the water is much better and the probability of seeing beautiful fish is much higher than after lunch. The girl saw a turtle, so arm yourself with a mask!
The only negative is the strong wind that was throughout the rest, last year we rested at the same time of the year, but in another hotel in Hurghada and this was not noticed, probably the nuances of the location. But, on the other hand, this place is a paradise for kite surfing enthusiasts.
The hotel has 3 swimming pools – the water was cold, there were plenty of sun beds, there were no problems with this.
There are 5 bars on site, 2 in the reception area (1 with hot drinks, which is open 24/7 and with cold drinks from 10 to 00:00) 2 bars by the pools and 1 on the beach, open from 10:00 to sunset, mostly drinking beer, sometimes cocktails.
Since the hotel is compact, it takes 1 minute to walk to the bar, regardless of where you are, it is very convenient.
The food at the hotel is just great, I have been to Egypt for the 5th time and I can say with 100% confidence, it has never been so delicious. Any dish is worthy of praise, baking is just something with something. Beef, fish and chicken are available in different types for lunch and dinner. We caught a fish day, enjoyed squid, shrimp and various types of fish – everything is very tasty. There are just incredibly delicious croissants for breakfast. Breakfast/lunch and dinner are held on the 2nd floor in the main restaurant above the reception, from 12:30 to 16:30 fast food, burgers, sandwiches and pizza are prepared in the restaurant next to the beach – everything is great and made with soul.
By the way, the daylight hours during our vacation were approximately from 6:00 to 17:00, so if you want to enjoy the sea, swimming and pools, get up early.
I can't say anything about animation, we didn't interact with them, and we also didn't attend evening events. But there is animation in the hotel.
In general, the rest was 5+, the hotel, although small, is very comfortable, everything is well maintained and very close. I recommend it 100%, you will not regret it.
The acquaintance with Egypt began with this hotel, they settled in quickly, the staff was polite. The food is varied: pastries, side dishes, sweets, salads, vegetables, fruits, fish, meat. You can also choose from an Italian or an Indian restaurant in the hotel. We chose the first one. We cleaned the rooms every day, and asked for a bed. Two nuances about the room: there is a card for entering the room, it was demagnetized all the time and I had to go to the reception and the second one was the toilet leaking - they contacted us more than once, stupidly ignored us, threw a clean towel and that's it. The territory is cleaned, there are drinks at the bars, animation, guys, thank you very much. I remember you. They also give you wonderful shack boxes if you go somewhere on an excursion. In total, we are satisfied with everything, even taking into account the February winds.
I liked the hotel, I was not tired in ten days, I was with my family, the beach is shallow, you have to walk a hundred meters, the food is delicious, it takes an hour to drive from the airport. There is a paid bar for fans of beer and all sorts of accessories, such as I have good coffee or a good shake or fresh, there is only an orange in the dining room, but someone does not order it there, there is another very interesting thing, you can sign up for a restaurant once, you can choose the kitchen yourself, near the optics the price is good as in Egypt, it's better to buy in pounds, they charge more in dollars, since the conversion can be changed, but they don't shy away from 100 dollars, choose tours in the VK application twice cheaper. Not all guides tell the truth about tours, I was taken away from my families by bus, then we stopped at three more hotels and gathered people only then on the yacht, the guide did not warn that the road is difficult with Georgian, fansan is Islam, his attitude is not serious.
Therefore, many people praise the VK application, in short, there is a lot of good in the hotel itself, the Kai 4-star hotel can be given a family revenge and the contingent is so good they know where they came from. Thank you all.
The four of us arrived at the Amwaj Hotel late in the evening on January 20, 2025. We settled in quickly. We were given two rooms next to each other on the ground floor with a view of the pool. The rooms are huge, everything is working, there are four Russian channels on TV. We immediately went to a late dinner, which starts at 22.00 and lasts until 24.00. It is very convenient that, in addition to the usual dinner, there is also a late one, because the next day, for example, we went to Cairo. We were picked up from the hotel at 00.50, and taken back at 23.15, i.e. the tour lasted almost a day, but we managed to have a late dinner.
Since the hotel is not located in the city and there is nowhere to walk outside, all the amenities are on site. There is a private sandy beach 50 m from the buildings, several bars, several restaurants, shops and a pharmacy. The chefs just have a special respect, everything is very tasty, the selection is large, and although there are many guests, no one remains hungry. The main thing is that there is no such thing that someone lacks, because they constantly bring and report. I have never eaten such delicious croissants as here, not even in France. Now I understand that the birthplace of croissants is not France, but the Amwaj hotel. The audience at the hotel is international, but there are no conflicts on this ground. Everyone is polite to each other, and the staff performs their job with dignity, always with smiles on their faces.
We were lucky with the weather in general, it was 23-25 degrees all the days, but the water in the sea is cold, 19-20 degrees. And strong winds. Therefore, we swam in the heated pool, and sunbathed either on the beach or next to the pools. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone.
In general, we are very pleased that we chose Amwaj Beach Abu Soma and definitely recommend it to everyone, including for holidays with children.
At the moment, we are resting here and now with our daughter of 11 years old. I liked the hotel very much, it was quiet, cozy, clean, everything for relaxation. There are many pools on the territory for every taste. You can always find a free chaise longue. The sea is super, they write that it does not exist, but this is not true, it has not gone anywhere, just walk through the shallow water closer to the buoys, the bottom is smooth, which is very good when with children, clean, mostly sand, but stones come across, it is better to swim in corals. The rooms are clean, spacious, everything works. The food is great, there is always a place to sit. We arrived almost at twenty-three in the evening, and we were fed and accommodated quickly. in general, everything is fine. The hotel is for a very calm and relaxed stay, absolutely nothing is annoying. Complete relaxation.
I liked the hotel very much, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the cuisine is varied and delicious, the territory is well maintained. The staff is really wonderful, I want to say a special thank you.
The hotel is located near the small town of Safaga. The distance to the airport is 50 km. There's nothing around, just the desert and the sea. There is a construction site planned on both sides of the hotel, which slightly spoils the view with construction debris.
The transfer is quite difficult, it takes up to two hours to shake on "speed bumps" transporting tourists to all passing hotels. After 6 hours on the plane, it feels like hard labor. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you arrange an individual transfer with the tour operator or just take a taxi. The journey takes only 35 minutes without stops. We were sluggish from the airport and didn't think about it, which I really regret. We took a taxi back to the hotel for $30 (White Shark). Kia business class car in leather and with air conditioning. The price is due to some charges at the airport, it's just that you can go back and forth to Hurghada for $ 35 for the whole day and the driver will wait for you.
Attractions, shops and many entertainment are quite far away, keep this in mind.
We took a two-room room. The room is a bit "tired", but quite cozy. The linen is all clean, the room was cleaned every day. Maybe they cleaned so often because of tips, but in any case there is a sign for unscheduled cleaning, it is enough to hang it on the door handle. Among the disadvantages, minor breakdowns and old repairs in the room can be noted. The plugs in the sockets do not hold, the doors are shabby, the rod for watering the rain in the bathroom (yes, there is a bathroom instead of a shower) is fixed with a self-tapping screw. In the second room there is a closet without doors. But, on the whole, it's cozy. We had one large bed and an armchair in one room, and two small beds and a sofa in the other. Two LCD TVs, two refrigerators, two balconies. The cleaner made amazing figures out of towels, different every day. An inexhaustible fantasy. Besides the usual swans, there were also a crocodile, a dolphin, and even a monkey.
The cuisine is varied. The menu is typical for Egypt, but there were also goodies. The menu includes both basic dishes every day (rice, pasta, potatoes, beef, chicken, fish, pizza) in different variations (fried, fries, mashed potatoes, battered, boiled) and changing periodically (sushi, crabs, duck, lamb, scallops). Very tasty sweaters, small grilled cutlets. Fast food is also delicious (pizza, grilled meat buns, even whites were). We were lucky, we caught the holiday on February 14th, the cook got excited, there were special cakes, cocktails, national dishes, the whole hotel was decorated. It takes a very long time to list all the cakes, there are a lot of them. There were different baklava. The pies are different. A couple of options for a healthy diet.
Fruits are often whole (orange, tangerine, guava, small bananas, dates. Sometimes physalis or strawberries), but there were also sliced ones (pomegranate and apple).
The hotel has two la carte restaurants: Indian and Italian cuisine. We went only to the Italian one, chose pasta, lasagna, pizza with seafood. The portions are large, keep in mind when ordering. They make good coffee in the lobby. The restaurant has a good filter brewed, as well as instant nescafe from the coffee machine. For some reason, everyone is queuing in front of the coffee machine in the morning, I couldn't figure that out.
Natural juices are only available for a fee. From soft drinks, traditional Egyptian "Yuppies" with flavorings and carbonated drinks. The free wines are so-so, but you can drink them. There is also a bottle for some money. Gin and rum don't seem to be anything.
Unfortunately, the entrance to the sea is not very good. The beach is neat and clean. But the hotel is located on a shoal in the bay. It's already shallow there, 300 meters towards the sea, the depth varies from zero to one and a half meters, this is at high tide. Moreover, the daily low tide completely drains the coastal zone. Therefore, they swim mainly from the pier, to which they stomp these very 300 meters. There's a depth of two meters, maybe a little more. There are also a dozen sun beds, some on the pier and sunbathe.
The coast is covered with corals, special shoes are needed.
There are many birds on the territory, including four Egyptian herons. During watering, they walk a step away from the path every time and are not afraid of anyone. They say dolphins and even a turtle swim behind the pier. But I didn't manage to see them.
The hotel is for a relaxing holiday, there are no discos. There is animation: yoga, volleyball, live music in lubby in the evening and a dance show on the beach stage.
On-site facilities include a spa, a gym, a diving club and quad bikes.
The spa offers massages and braiding with kanekalon. The massage is relaxing, you can go once, there is nothing therapeutic in it. The price list says $70, but on the beach you will be happy to sell it for $ 40. Pigtails cost $35, I do not recommend them, they are made crookedly and unravel on the first day. The diving center offers diving and swimming to the island with fishing and snorkeling. There are departures from Hurghada, there are from the local pier. In general, due to the remoteness of the hotel, I would not advise choosing all these entertainments from Hurghada, you will get tired more. It's better to overpay 10 bucks and sail from the local pier, so there will be fewer people. I won't tell you in detail about them, we didn't order a boat or ATVs. The Quadric didn't take it yet because of the weather, it was windy, and the mountains couldn't be seen because of the dust.
The hotel is adjacent to a clinic and a pharmacy with fixed prices and a good assortment.
I really liked the hotel, we had a rest for 14 days, and every day Wi-Fi in the room is very convenient. The food is good meat, fish, chicken, turkey, duck ,sea products ,many bars there is a bar with coffee. The beach is wide and there are a lot of sun beds. The sea is clean and warm, there is a beautiful reef. They keep the level.Well done👍👍
Food 5+
Alcohol 4+
Room cleaning 5+
Number 4+
Staff 5+
We had a rest at the end of December for 150 thousand rubles for three people.
Food for every taste, mountains of food, meat, fruits and vegetables. We had a 5-year vacation with a child, ate and drank everything in a row, never had a disorder.
The rooms are normal, daily cleaning, towel change, floor cleaning and bathroom cleaning with chemicals. For a dollar, a janitor performed swans on a bed with rose petals 😂
The pool was very warm and heated, and it was a pleasure to swim.
Swimming in the sea from the beach is not possible, you need to walk along pantone and dive there.
The Internet is working all over the hotel, but the speed is low, buy a SIM card for the operator at the airport, it will be great, the rates there are very cheap.
The room key is easy to demagnetize if you put it with your phone, be careful not to go to respawn every time.
On our birthday, we signed up for a restaurant, a clearing was set for us, a cake was brought out, and the whole team sang happy birthday - you can go to the restaurant 3 times for free.
Would I go to this hotel again? Definitely yes. Everything was fine.
If you do not have high expectations, and you adequately assess and understand what you get for spending money in this hotel, then you will really like it here.
The food is mostly monotonous, but for 4 it's OK, lots of sweets, pasta station, always rice and beef. Of course, the rooms have stone floors, shared air conditioning, linen is changed, but not every day, the audibility is terrible, everything can be heard from the street and from neighboring rooms, in general, the hotel is "tired". The staff at the reception is different, but if Akhmet It gets caught, it will not solve anything, but it collects a lot of everything and then we will deny that we came, it spoiled the impression greatly. The rooms are cleaned every day, but for some reason after 16:00 and once instead of 2 towels they left one, the second minus. The pools are good with a depth of 90 cm, 100 cm, 120 cm, 140 and 160 cm, in general for all tastes. The beach has its own wooden sun beds, there is a canopy made of palm leaves and a corner screen from prying eyes and from the sun.
It's a very nice hotel. The food is excellent and varied. The restaurant cleans up used dishes very quickly, so there are always plenty of empty seats when dining. There is a heated swimming pool. The rooms are well cleaned.
We had a rest in early November! We really liked everything! Nice hotel! A large swimming pool! Food for every taste! The service is good. Animation team, well done guys! For a family holiday, it's just a top! I recommend it!!!

Location: 48 km from Hurghada International Airport. From the hotel until 21-00 you can take a taxi to Hurghada ($ 30) with a refund or to Safaga ($ 10).You can walk along the shore to Safaga, but it's a bit long. There are no shortcomings in the hotel, I liked the food, juices, cleaning every day.
The hotel is wonderful, nice grounds with pools + heated, the food is delicious and varied. Drinks, fruits, various cheeses, sweet dishes, even porridges and soups.
It is recommended to visit and rest
This is the best hotel I've ever been to. Sooooo delicious and varied food, its own shore, cool, you can swim with glasses from the pier and look at the underwater world. In general, I recommend it, and we will definitely come back ourselves, but as part of the whole family)
We had a rest in September 2024.The biggest disadvantage is the sea.Swimming normally is a problem. It is necessary to walk along the pantone for 700 meters, there are corals in the sea, you can scratch yourself. The food is good, there is little fruit, but otherwise everything is OK.However, there were huge queues, especially for dinner. The rooms are shabby, of course, but everything worked. There is no alcohol, only beer more or less.In principle, the hotel is not bad if there was a normal sea.
Of the advantages:
-Delicious and varied food
- Very beautiful views
-The sea is within walking distance. It is convenient to enter the sea from the pier (there is a staircase, and an acceptable depth for swimming). There is also excellent snorkeling, tk coral reefs
-pools of different depths (100,120,140,160 cm), there is a separate children's pool (30-50 cm)
-Many bars throughout the territory (no need to go to the hotel from the beach for cocktails)
-Polite staff, even some speak Russian
-Room cleaning during, constantly replenish stocks of tea, coffee, water, shumpun, etc.
Of the minuses:
-Shabby rooms (broken tiles, painfully repainted doors, a broken bathtub, etc.)
-The unfortunate location of the condee in the room (he blew directly on the bed, although there is plenty of room in the room. It's very hot without kondei, and with him there's still a chance to catch a cold)
-
The hotel is good, but there are both cons and pros.Animation-animation suffers in the evenings there is a disco and a small show. The show is sometimes interesting. There is no children's club. The beach is gorgeous, but very high tides, especially in the evening, it is not possible to swim, you have to swim from the pier where there are a lot of corals. Pools-there are three pools, two large and one smaller, the sun beds are always occupied. The main Restaurant-the food is fine, there is also a late dinner. Rooms-the rooms are nice and clean. The room is provided with a hair cap, thread with a needle and a pin with a button, gel, shampoo, etc.
The hotel is completely good! There are two additional restaurants, Indian cuisine and Italian, both by appointment for two days, but it is better not to visit them, so as not to spoil the positive mood because after visiting there will be complete disappointment
The hotel is amazing - delicious food, varied menu, lots of desserts, animation, very helpful staff, clean beach and good access to the sea from the pier). There are also wonderful excursions (Luxor, parasailing, snorkeling). The rooms are spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, there is a balcony where you can enjoy the sea view. Of the minor disadvantages: on the beach, the entrance to the sea is too small, it's better from the pier, the rooms are a little tired, but their area and filling overlap, well, the hotel itself is 50 km from Hurghada (but this is a minus for those who like nightlife a la clubs, shopping, etc.)
I haven't been to Egypt with my husband for nine years.I really love the Red Sea and asked to go to Egypt for a long time, but my husband was against it all the time and it turned out that it was not in vain.
We chose this hotel on the recommendation of friends who visited it in April 2024 and decided to come with us again. We and our friends will remember this holiday for the rest of our lives.
It all started with the settlement.
Two elderly couples were offered one family room for all with one bathroom, although we are not relatives. When we politely refused, we were provided with rooms completely unprepared for the reception of guests. In our room, the electricity was not working, the TV and the shower was running. We waited two hours for everything to be fixed and replaced (we couldn't fix the TV and replaced it only after long attempts to fix it). Two hours of rest were killed.
But the negativity didn't end there. On the second day, we were unable to open the door to the room with an electronic key. Twice I ran to the reception to ask for the key, but nothing helped. During the day, the lock was changed for us, but what was our disappointment when, like the old one, it did not work and we opened it 10 times. So we suffered all 15 days.
The hotel restaurant is TERRIBLE. The food was monotonous, cold, and on the third day my husband had terrible poisoning. Moreover, as it turned out later, many tourists were poisoned.
Of the positive things in food, good delicious soups and pastries!
There is no SEA as such in the hotel.
Entry is only from the pontoon. You can only enter from the beach in coral slippers. Moreover, the depth is ankle-deep at a distance of 500-700 meters. Swimming in such a sea will not work.
As such, there is no reef near the hotel. Most of the reef is dead.Of course there are fish, but compared to other hotels in Egypt, there are very few of them.
The water temperature in the sea does not exceed 21 degrees, and in the morning it is 18 degrees off the coast. Whatever makes snorkeling comfortable.
POOLS.
A separate topic for negativity.During the first ten days, the water in them was just icy 18-19 degrees. It was only after numerous complaints that the heating of one of the pools was turned on, heating the water to 25 degrees.
The WIND that is constantly here.
It is also very disappointing that the Russian-speaking representative of the hotel, Tatiana, at the meetings of the hotel administration with Russian tourists, openly persuaded them to write a positive review about the hotel and boasted that all the positive reviews were her merit.
We told her all our complaints, but nothing has changed.
This is the first hotel where I was not even congratulated on my birthday.
The rest is ruined and it's a pity the money spent on this hotel.
Don't believe the positive reviews.
To begin with, we went on a family vacation from everything. The animator guys are trying, the animator girls are neither fish nor meat, we have hardly seen or even heard them. But, who cares, keep in mind. Every evening there was a show for children and adults. The rooms are tired, but cleaning is done every day. The hotel grounds, the beach and the food are a delight. The food is wonderful. We had a flight at 12 a.m. and our bracelets were not cut off, we managed to have lunch, dinner and leave. I have never seen such beautiful coral reefs anywhere and there are a lot of them. The tide is very strong. We swam with a turtle every day, someone did not meet her at all, but we did every day in the morning and at lunch) The underwater world is beautiful. The hotel is alone in the desert. There are no annoying sellers, except those who sell cocktails at the hotel, offer massages and other paid services. The downside is what I described, but there were no problems for us.
The rest went well, but the sediment remained, the rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day, but it's clear that it's time to update the interior. The bars on the street were all trying to impose some kind of restrictions on one hand. The food is delicious, the assortment is large at first glance, but by the end of the rest, I'm tired of the monotony. There are also heated pools, which are very active in winter. The territory is clean, with greenery. The beach is comfortable, sandy, equipped with everything you need. The entrance to the sea is shallow, in order to swim you need to walk decently, or you can use the pier, equipped with a descent into the water. There is a small beautiful reef, you can swim with a mask. There is good free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, except for the beach.
I liked this hotel. We were all inclusive. The food was delicious and varied. The only downside is that you can't go anywhere. There are practically no shops nearby. If you need a vacation in isolation, this hotel will suit you one hundred percent!
I liked everything, the animation team is very active, every day there are different Activities and shows at the highest level. Dana is a professional in her field, stretching/yoga super 👍👍
A good, but already "tired" hotel. The delux number wasn't impressive, but it's generally normal. Almost the entire territory is occupied by swimming pools. Entry into the sea is bad. Coral slippers and small shoes are needed everywhere. In the morning, the sea goes away altogether.
The food is good. There is animation, but it could be better.
There is a kite station next to the hotel. I definitely recommend it. 👍
our vacation with my mother in this department was from 03.12.2023 to 13.12.2023. Very nice hotel, everything is at the highest level) we lived in a room overlooking the pool and the sea, where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises every morning..
It's a pity, of course, that the saltwater pool didn't work, for people with sore feet it would be a good alternative because mom had sore feet and can't swim, so a pier is also not an option. At the beginning of the holiday, the room key did not work well, and they went to the reception, it was enough, literally, for one opening, although they did not leave the key with the phone and did not put it, it was still demagnetized. Then a girl came up to us on the beach and asked: "How is our vacation going and are we doing well?»We talked about this problem and after that the door opened much better. Well, in general, I really liked everything, I recommend it to everyone and thank the hotel staff for a wonderful stay.
We arrived from this hotel in early October.
The hotel is for those who want to have a budget vacation on the first coast. Yes, now the prices are hellish and budgetary - it has not been budgetary for a long time. But this hotel is one of the most inexpensive.
Upon arrival (we arrived late, after midnight), we were given rooms (we took Deluxe Suites with sea views) and sent to a coffee shop for a snack. The coffee shop is open around the clock. Of course, the snack was about nothing. Rolls and cheese slicing. But the coffee is decent. It is prepared manually in a coffee machine, ground grain. Packaged milk.
Rooms.
They lived in the building on the right. If you stand facing the hotel. There was a third floor. There was no smell of sewage, no insects. The plumbing was in good working order, there were no interruptions with hot water. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was also serviceable and worked perfectly. But. We must immediately prepare for the fact that the furniture is tired. The lamp was shortened. The shelf in the bathroom was broken and held on by snot. And so on. Room cleaning is also not thorough. Sometimes they forgot to put shower gel on. But they were given out immediately upon request. I suspect that the employees have a lot of rooms and they are simply tired. Because they sometimes looked extremely tired. We tried to please with chocolates and dollars.
Food.
Good. There was a variety. I didn't like the sweets. It was rare to find something delicious. The meat was delicious. There was always beef, chicken, and fish. The choice of fruits is normal. But there was no watermelon or mango. The vegetables were both fresh and steamed. The choice of side dishes is decent. Croissants are just a cannon. They are very tasty. The only thing is, once we met a spoiled tomato in the salad. And once I got a piece of chicken that was obviously spoiled (from the grill). But considering the number of people, the cook obviously just didn't notice. Since the cooking volumes are large there. So, you have to be careful. Otherwise, there were no comments. There is also a snack bar on the beach, which is very convenient. And you can have a full lunch there too. There's pasta, French fries, pizza, burgers. It's pretty tasty. The only thing is that the restaurant is open-air and you have to be careful with the birds. As soon as they leave the table, the birds try to dig into the plate.
Drinks.
Smoothies and fresh drinks are of course not included in the price. They can be purchased separately at the bar for $3. Quite tasty. They drank only from mangoes. Free cocktails and alcoholic and non-alcoholic are also not bad. Drinks like fanta, Cola, Schweppes were included in the price. We also tried paid drinks at the reception bar. Not bad. Although not much better than free ones. There's just more choice.
WiFi
Is Free. On the territory of the entire hotel. The only thing was that sometimes it was necessary to re-authenticate.
Location
There are two things here. If you need a hotel away from the city noise. In order to simply relax, this hotel is what you need. It is located on the outskirts of the desert. There is nowhere to walk outside the hotel. If you want to move, the promenade hotel is not for you. Well, either you have to spend money on a taxi. We only went out a couple of times a week. On a guided tour.
The shops
As I wrote above, the hotel is isolated. There are their own shops there, but the prices, of course, are kapets. From the category of a pyramid statuette made of gypsum 10 bucks (although even on the tour we bought the same for 5, which of course is also expensive), tea 5 bucks. So, this hotel is not about to shop on a budget.
Beach
It is well equipped. There were always free sun beds. The beach is clean, there is a long pier, good sun beds under umbrellas. The sand is super soft. Bar and snack bar side by side.
Sea
The sea is certainly an amateur. We have already written about the tides. About the rocky entrance too. I must say right away that I do not recommend it to people with sore legs and who cannot swim. You won't be able to lie in the water normally. Plus, you can kick, fall, and so on. There is a pier. It's long enough. But it's even nice to walk around it. The entrance to the water from the pier is adequate. The depth is suitable for those who are not very good at swimming. That is, there is no such thing that you go down the steps, and there is a cliff many meters down. There is a place to swim. The distances are decent. There is no such thing as a small plot fenced off and people wallowing in it on top of each other. Regarding the underwater world. The reef is dead there. Living areas are rare. Tourists are also partly to blame. They are constantly trying to climb the reef. It is not clear why. It's not that deep. You can swim a little and it will be shoulder-high. There are fish. They sailed different every day. Yes, the concentration is not the greatest. But there is someone to look at. There was even a stingray. Someone saw the turtles, but we didn't see(. Rescuers are different. Someone works well and keeps a close eye on the sea and the swimmers. Someone is digging into the phone. There is no shark net. The entrance to the pier closes in the evening. It is forbidden to enter the sea in the evening. The guard is very vigilant.
Animation
The guys are really handsome. They dance smartly, light up. There were events. Not everyone was successful.
Dinner is also served twice a week on the beach. I liked. Live music, sand underfoot, near the sea. Great.
Excursions.
I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the prices on the websites in advance and only then see the prices that the hotel guide will offer. The bulk of their excursions are much more expensive. Plus, they are in a special hurry, they say that you need to choose here and now, otherwise there will be no opportunity to order later. That's not so. We didn't order anything on the first day. We compared the prices. And on the second day we ordered a safari tour from the hotel guide. An excursion to Luxor was ordered on the website. Individual on a passenger car. I must say that the road is long. About 3.5-4 hours each way. We immediately decided that we would not take the big bus (we wanted to get back faster without waiting for the others). In fact, it turned out that way. We were in time for dinner. And then we were tired. Plus, there was also the fact that the guide was local and the sellers did not bother us with him. And someone was even grabbed by the hands. Well, everything is individual here.
As a result:
I liked the hotel. Despite the shortcomings I have indicated, we had a great rest. Moreover, both my mch and my mother liked the hotel.
Well, to begin with, I compare it with Turkey. For about the same amount of money, it will be much more comfortable in Turkey, as it seems to me.
To begin with, I didn't like it:
the room called "premium with sea view" is actually an ordinary small standard and the view there is not of the sea, but of the pool. By the way, all the rooms look at this pool. And from the balcony you can just see a piece of the sea. Xs what's the premium in general.
There are no accessories in the bathroom except for the gel in the dispenser. Toothpaste, a brush, shampoo, cotton swabs - there's nothing like that, and even if you ask, they won't give it. Well, the mirror, hairdryer, towels are in order, fortunately.
Some kind of renovation was underway on the territory. During the day, they periodically knocked and worked with a grinder by the pool.
The lighting in the dining room is complete ****. You can still be patient in the morning and at lunch, but during dinner you need to eat with a lantern. I understand the evening atmosphere and all that, but I want to see what's on my plate.
Well, about bathing... You can't go to the pool after 16:00. We were in December, and it was already getting dark at that time. They say that it's like this in all the hotels there)
It makes no sense to leave the hotel on foot. There's a desert there))) only to the city by car.
The food is good. There is always meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and desserts. It's not exactly abundance, but you won't stay hungry.
A small reef with fish at the end of the bridge.
A good hotel, the food is not very diverse, but everyone will find something delicious for themselves, room cleaning, as everywhere in Egypt, is limited to swans of towels. The staff does not speak Russian, this is probably more a plus than a minus (they impose their services less). Since the hotel is located at a distance from the main cities and towns, spa treatments and massages cost a lot of money, they get excursions on the beach (ignore these pestering). It was an unpleasant moment on the first day, the guy from kolyannaya offered fresh to my girlfriend a warm and tasteless present, the next day he very persistently demanded $ 7 and was successfully sent, in general, the hotel is quite normal! The animation is weak, more for a quiet rest
We had a rest from 31.12.2024 to 09.12.2025.
Overall, it's a typical 3-star Egyptian all-inclusive. What didn't you like:
1. We arrived at 8 a.m., they agreed to check us in only after paying $ 20 (in other hotels they checked in up to 12 without any problems), for the first time they faced fines of $ 10 for the loss of a bracelet / plastic room card / beach towels.
2. Nutrition. Meager breakfasts, cheap gin/tequila/whiskey swill in plastic bottles, the constant smell of overcooked meat/ butter in the canteen, queues for food.
3. Accommodation. The rooms are decorated with ancient furniture, appliances, cracked tiles on the floor. The TV and air conditioning didn't work in the first room, so I had to request a replacement. They don't put anything in the bathroom except towels (no bathrobes/ slippers/ gels/pastes, etc.). Cleaning is acceptable, but they regularly forgot to add water/ toilet paper despite the tip. Electricity was cut off in the rooms for several hours 3 times in 9 days.
4. The territory. The hotel is located far from Hurghada, so there is only a dirty desert with abandoned construction sites and garbage around the hotel, there is nowhere to walk. The gym is dead (there are 5 simulators in total, of which only 2 work, the dumbbells are broken, there are no barbells).
5. Entertainment. The programs of local animators are as poor and hackneyed as possible (sometimes there were visiting animators). It feels like they're stuck in the 90s. The DJ was playing some trash (local oriental pop, little-known tracks in Russian, moronic covers of modern hits, etc.), and therefore no one went out on the dance floor.
Fall for the good reviews, but in vain.
The 4 ⭐ hotel corresponds to. The food is excellent. The territory is well maintained, the pools are clean (everywhere). The sea is like everywhere else in Egypt. The service is only weak. And so, we had a good rest.
We had a rest in June 2024, an excellent hotel, the staff is polite and attentive, varied food almost around the clock, convenient access to the sea, you can swim far from swimming and swim near the reefs and watch fish. I really liked it, I would come back again
It is a good place for a family with children, even in ten days I was not tired, the food is delicious. and there is Tatiana, who works as a representative for Russians, and helps in general, thanks to her for her help and good advice.
We arrived at the hotel at 6 a.m., at 10 a.m. we were given bracelets and then, as in all hotels, we were expected to check in at 2 p.m., but when we asked if our rooms were available to check in early, we were offered an alternative in the form of a family room (there were 4 people). you can say that these are the same two rooms, just connected by a door.
Our rooms had a sea view, but due to the fact that the room was closer to the reception, the sea was poorly visible there, but there was a plus: there was good wi-fi. In the reviews, some wrote that wi-fi catches in the room, others that it is only in the lobby. It turned out that the rooms closest to the reception are well connected to wi-fi, but there is none in the far ones.
The food is good, the food is delicious, and there is variety. Chicken, fish, duck, side dishes, a variety of salads and soups (soups can be praised here, they are usually not tasty in Egypt). Fruits were always melon, orange, pomegranate, guava, grapefruit, sometimes dates and figs. Every dinner, meat dishes were grilled on coals on the terrace of the main restaurant. During our vacation, we were fed shrimp and strawberries once. A coffee machine is available for breakfast (not for lunch and dinner). But it can be noted that their coffee is very strong. Packaged tea of different flavors: both regular black and karkade, mint, aniseed and herbal are available for all meals. There are two restaurants - Italian and Indian, which you can sign up for once at the reception. We signed up for an Italian course, took different types of dishes, everything was delicious, we really enjoyed it. There is also a cafe by the beach, which opens earlier than the restaurant, at 12:30. They provide French fries, pizza, depending on the day - a burger or a hot dog (it was with beef and chicken), as well as soup, fruits and vegetables. On Thursday and Sunday, if the weather is good, lunch from the main restaurant is moved there. There is also a free gym and a paid spa center.
What can we say about the sea, the approach is certainly not very good, to reach the depth you need to walk 300 meters with knee-deep water, but for this there is a pontoon, with which you can easily get to the fish. They said there were two turtles, but we didn't see one during the whole vacation. And we had a windy season, there was always a red flag, but the lifeguard did not forbid swimming, he just told us not to sail far.
The staff is friendly, smiling and talking, although they know Russian with a stretch. The room is cleaned cleanly, they even made figures out of towels (photo attached).
The animation is weak, of course, and in the early days we had no idea who the animators were. In the evenings, there were performances at the bar with hot drinks, which is open around the clock, but it is small and the seats were always occupied long before the performances began. There are no questions about children's animation, there was an aquagrimm, they walked around the hotel in cartoon character costumes, and every evening there was a mini disco for children.
The bosses are good. We were invited to a cocktail party, where there was a large variety of cocktails (alcoholic, non-alcoholic). There was a CEO who was interested in what they liked and what they didn't like, and also said that in May they were expanding and would open a new family complex with an aquapark. Then almost every day we saw him at the hotel, checking the quality of service.
Nice hotel... Polite staff!!! The sea is close .. The pools are large and warm and cold.... Bars at every turn. It 's clean and cozy ... The rooms are sooo well cleaned. . clean towels and linen every morning... One small minus. 🥺 at the disco, I want Russian music.. And so everything is great ...
I liked everything very much, the service, food, animation, the beach on site, several bars, a gym, shops with reasonable prices, responsive non-intrusive staff, the territory itself is very beautiful and clean!!!
I am writing a fresh review)
Accommodation: the room is excellent (1242). My room was located next to lobi, so there was Internet in the room with excellent signals (the brochure indicates that there is Internet in all rooms, how much correct information I cannot say). The room is not dead, for 4* very nice, large (rested alone). I can't say anything about cleaning, I didn't need it during the week of rest))). Two beds, 4 towels. Therefore, I did not need cleaning))). Audibility: I didn't hear the neighbors (apparently, I was lucky). Air conditioning and water are great. There were no interruptions.
Food: quite tasty, but monotonous. You definitely won't be hungry, you always have everything. There are enough places in the restaurant, the main thing is to get to the moment. Breakfast at 10:10 is already starting to be cleaned, although they write that from 10 to 11 you can eat buns, but they are also cleaned.
Seafood is scarce, there were shrimp once a week and only 4 pieces per plate. The sweets are delicious. Yes, in princeps, the food is delicious. There are queues, of course, when they are being handed out with fervor.
Swimming pool: there are a lot of sun beds, you can always find a place.
The beach: there are a lot of free sunbeds right here. The approach from the shore is very, very long)) but this is the red sea))) it is better not to go without special shoes. There is a pier that leads to the depths of the sea, quite long. I managed to burn a little on the first day walking along it (light skin))). I won't say about the aquatic world, but people are actively swimming with masks.
There are evening events, but for an amateur.
I haven't talked to the animators, but it seems like these guys are okay. The pool is also entertained in the evenings at the show.
Alcohol: I don't drink much, but after drinking a couple of beers, my head hurt.
The result: a quiet, peaceful hotel. Employees and those offering services for money are not intrusive.
The territory is large, there is a place to walk. There is little greenery.
There is a desert around and there are no hotels nearby.
I will recommend the hotel specifically for a relaxing holiday. There is no activity in it.
I want to write about the dishes separately. Glasses in bars are simply rinsed (it's better to take your own, you never know). The plates in the restaurant are also dirty. The appliances were not noticed in the dirty, but it is better to wipe at least with a napkin.
I am glad that I chose this hotel for my vacation. The choice was due to the price and good reviews.
A great hotel for your money. The food is good, the staff is friendly, the room cleaning is also good. The territory is not large, but there are enough pools for everyone. There is a sea entrance from the shore, but it is too shallow. I do not understand people who write negative reviews, if you want "lobsters" and rooms with golden toilets, then you will not go to this hotel, but at least +150 thousand per person and get closer to your requests))
After reading the negative reviews, I drove with tears in the end, it was great! We had a vacation with a child of 7 years old ! We liked everything A good 4+.The hotel is part of the Albatross Peak grid, so everything is not even bad, we were lucky to get a large, clean room with 3 beds and a sofa on the 1st floor! I didn 't have to change the one that wasn 't killed . There is not much children's animation as such, children play with each other, which in General is also not bad, well, either of you occupy yourself! The sea is good from the shore up to the knee well, to the middle of the thigh it is better to walk in coral slippers, from the pier with a child with masks we swam with pleasure and saw a turtle, a stingray and all sorts of local fish! You will not stay hungry without food, there is always fish, beef, chicken, duck (sometimes 2 squid, shrimp every other day) fruits apples, strawberries, oranges, tangerines, etc. the territory is small but well-groomed, the pools are the cleanest! And the most important thing is that the hotel is alone in the desert, I don't want to walk along the embankment for me + You can go for 7-8 days, I recommend going to Utopia island, the Egyptian Maldives!
The hotel is good for your money, the food is delicious, the beach is clean. Entering the water from the pier may not be suitable for everyone. There are problems with the key card, but the staff solves everything quickly. It would not hurt to renovate the rooms, but in general they are normal
This pearl by the sea near Hurghada left only the most pleasant impressions: a clean beach, a beautiful hotel, azure waves - what could be better in January)
I liked the hotel, it matches its price. There were no problems with food, the staff was friendly. The location of the hotel is good, but I advise you to take an individual transfer.
This is our first vacation in Egypt. I really liked the hotel. Friendly staff, delicious food, lunch, breakfast. There are snacks on the beach. The beach bar . I liked the beach , 3 swimming pools, one heated. Every day there are different shows in the evening. Animators Thomas, Kunduz, Dasha are great. There are different sports games every day. We liked everything. We recommend this hotel
We stayed at the Amwaj Hotel from December 31 to January 10, 2024. We arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock in the afternoon and were immediately checked in. The wonderful weather made it possible to swim and sunbathe. The beach is clean and big. There were always free sun loungers and cozy modern gazebos.
However, the shore is too shallow for swimming. But there is a private pier with gazebos on it. We walked along it for 2 minutes and swam from the pier (looking at the colorful fish). For those who are not ready to swim with fish, there are several pools. One of them is huge and heated (+29 degrees🤪)
The management and animators turned New Year's Eve into a wonderful show. A huge tent with beautiful tables and chairs, great treats and a festive program was built especially for this evening.
Every day in the hotel restaurant, all the dishes were very tasty. Fish and meat every day for lunch and dinner. Vegetables, fruits. In the morning, crispy croissants, cheeses, yoghurts, pancakes, fried vegetables, fruits, pastries of all kinds) The staff is friendly everywhere, most of them speak Russian and English perfectly. The territory of the hotel is very well maintained. Delicious coffee beans were brewed in one of the bars.
I didn't have time to ask about the iron... an hour later it was brought to our room and was not picked up before departure.
There was not enough disco in the evenings. There were shows after dinner, but not for long. And there was not enough movement after them. Due to the distance of the hotel from Hurghada itself, it was not possible to get out into the city every day.
I would like to highlight the work of our guide Haysam. Thanks to his persuasion, we visited the ancient capital of Egypt, Luxor. When I heard that it takes 3.5 hours to get there by bus, and the tour starts at 5 am!!! I decided not to go... I flew from the Northern capital of Russia to bask in the sun, and not sit on the bus. But after the first hour of the journey, amazing landscapes began to open up for me outside the window! I was delighted with the date and banana palms. For the first time I saw how sugar cane grows and how ordinary Egyptians live. And most importantly, we were shocked by the ancient temples! If it were not for the trip to Luxor, our idea of Egypt would remain that it is a continuous desert and sea…
Of course, those who are used to looking for disadvantages will always find them everywhere!) But still, there are much more advantages in this hotel.
