The insanely beautiful train station, the palace stairs, the huge spaces, the muted tones, this is so far the most beautiful train station that I have seen in the old, palace style.

The central station is located in a place where the whole of historic Amsterdam is. All the sights of the city, including the Red Lanterns, are within walking distance from it. You can also travel here and from here by electric trains around the city and by high-speed trains between cities and countries.
